To all of my family, friends, and collaborators, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Without you, none of this would be possible. I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season and looking forward to ringing in 2018! Tomorrow I’ll be taking a look back at some of my favorite personal moments from 2017. Stay tuned!

Hello and happy Thursday, friends! I hope everyone had a magical Christmas and a truly wonderful holiday season. We had a great time at church on Christmas Eve and celebrated Jesus’s birth with a small birthday party afterwards. My favorite part has always been the candle lite singing of Silent Night. I vividly remembering doing that with my parents when I was younger and then going home to the reading of The Night Before Christmas. I always get a little sad when Christmas is over, but that means New Years Eve is right around the corner! I can hardly believe 2017 is almost over. It literally feels like it went by in the blink of an eye. While we remember all that went on in the year, here’s to celebrating the new one! This little sequin dress would be PERFECT for your NYE celebration. I’m wearing a size small. There is also a gold version of the dress too. I found it to be quite comfortable. Sometimes sequin items can be scratchy, but this dress felt fabulous on. This dress would be great for a fun night out too, whether it’s New Years Eve or not! Cheers to a shimmering New Year!

Quilted Velvet Skirt

Embellished Blush Sweater (Banana Republic, Old, Similar Here) || Quilted Velvet Skirt c/o || Tignanello Bag c/o || Nude Heels (Jennifer Lopez, Old, Similar Here) || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning and happy Tuesday! We had our first big snow fall this past weekend and it was beautiful. The first snowfall always is and then I’m basically done with it, haha. We also went to a tree lighting in Dallas (local not Texas lol) for their centennial celebration this year. It was so much fun! Hot chocolate, caroling, twinkle lights, and Santa make for one truly magical night.

This is one winter look that combines so many pretty details all while staying warm.  The midi skirt from Chicwish is quilted velvet with a subtle sheen to it. Totally luxe! It fits true to size. I’m wearing an XS. I love the dark rose color too. This time of the year is all about adding a little bit of glamour to your look. One way I like to do that is with embellished pieces like the sweater I’m wearing above. It’s one of my most worn sweaters and Ava loves to touch the pearls and beads! There are some great choices out there like this pink bow sweater, this embellished collar blush sweater, this faux fur beaded sweater , and this sequin cardigan

An Elegant Affair

Julie Brown NYC Coat c/o || Julie Brown NYC Dress c/o || Just Fab Shoes c/o (Old, Similar Here) || Vintage Clutch (Similar Here) || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring ||

Happy Friday, everyone! I cannot even begin to tell you how elegantly glamorous this ensemble made me feel. This jacket is so dreamy and perfect for any holiday party or formal occasion. Even just a fancy night out on the town! It features three quarter sleeves and rhinestones on the chest. The satin material feels devine, but doesn’t add for much warmth. This black dress with faux fur around the neckline and wrists is the epitome of classically chic. It hugs my curves perfectly and is so comfy to wear! It’s understated, but the faux fur gives it an extra special touch.

I hope ole everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hello and happy Thursday, friends! Today’s look is all about this plaid tweed coat and icy cool blue tones. To start off with, how gorgeous is this plaid coat from Chicwish?! The powdery blue color in the coat is what I started with and went from there. I typically choose warmer tones and gold, but felt that silver and light blue would blend beautifully together. I found the coat to fit true to size and went with an XS. It’s currently on sale for 25% off now too! This tweed coat will undoubtably elevate any look and keep you stylish all winter long. When you think about it, a coat is so important since that’s what most people see you in while you’re out and about. I hope everyone had a great Friday-Eve!

Going Glam

Star Print Tulle Gown c/o || LC Lauren Conrad Heels (Old, Similar Here) || Sunglasses || Baublebar Bracelets c/o || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning and happy Wednesday! Let me start off by saying WOW about this dress (enter the heart eye emoji here.) This dress has a built in bra and shorts underneath the tulle skirt, which is sheer. This dress is an absolute stunner! I actually received a ton of compliments while taking the photos for it. The sheer tulle skirt has little black stars adorning it. Anything with stars or the moon right now is very big and I have to say I couldn’t be happier about it! I’ve always been drawn to anything with the stars or moon and have some sentimental reasons for loving them too. The dress does fit true to size, though the length may need to be hemmed if you’re on the shorter side like I am (5’2.)

Visions Of Candy Canes

Red Lace Dress c/o || Similar Gold Sequin Heels || Similar Gold Clutch || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring ||

Good morning, friends! Every year I have a dress that is THE dress of the holiday season for me and this one is it! As soon as I saw it I thought of candy canes with the pretty red and creamy white pattern along the skirt. The top is red lace that gives the dress a very delicate and feminine feel. I’ve always been drawn to red, especially for Christmas. Every single one of my dresses for my high school dances were red, haha. I’m wearing an XS and found the dress to fit very true to size. This is one of those looks that just has me swooning every time I see it. Chicwish always has the best dresses, especially the “prom” dress section. Those have always been my favorite. They’re basically fit and flare dresses, with a midi skirt length, that have a beautiful pattern on them. I’ve worn many of them and can never get enough. I paired gold accessories with this look to give it an extra festive feel. You can never go wrong with some sequins during the Christmas season!

Classic New England Feel

Similar Turtleneck Sweater || Madewell Skirt || Over The Knee Boots || Lauren Conrad Bag || Karen Walker Sunglasses || Similar Plaid Scarf || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring ||

Happy December 1st and a wonderful Friday morning to you! I wanted to sneak in one more fall related post even though it’s the Christmas season now, especially with it being December already! This look has so much of a New England aura to it with its classic touch and slight preppy feel. You can never go wrong with a chunky sweater to keep you warm and cozy. I love pairing over the knee boots with skirts too. They keep your legs warm when there’s a chill in the air and definitely elongate your legs.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Sunny Sunflower

Sunflower Dress c/o || Navy Peacoat || Similar Gold Sequin Heels || Melie Bianco Bag (Old, Similar Here) || Sunglasses || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! When I originally saw this dress my eyes bugged out at the beautiful bright yellow sunflower print against the dark navy background. Yellow and navy make for such an eye popping color combination! Not only did the print catch my eye, but the vintage feel and bow-tie waist are just too gorgeous to pass up. I went with matching colors with my navy peacoat and mustard top handle bag. Adding some gold sparkly heels gave the look an extra special feel!

That Holiday Feeling

Plaid Top c/o || Forever 21 Skirt (Old, Similar Here) || Plaid Shoes || Melie Bianco Bag (Old, Similar Here) || Stella & Dot Ring || DW Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || LipSense Lip Color c/o ||

Good morning, friends! This plaid top gives me all the holiday feels! The bright red catches the eye while the plaid sleeves add a beautiful contrast.  It’s the perfect top for fall and transitioning over to the Christmas season. They say it’s all in the details and I completely agree! The little bow tie gives this top a vintage twist and elevates it to anything but basic. I kept with the plaid theme and chose this midi skirt I’ve had from Forever 21. It’s fantastic on those cold days. These plaid shoes finish off the outfit nicely, also having a very chic navy bow on them with little rhinestones. The top runs true to size. I’m wearing a small and it’s on sale now for $18!

Hello, friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I rented the new Wonder Woman movie and absolutely loved it! I have to say this movie did the character justice. To be honest, I never really followed the comic too closely or even the television show with Lynda Carter, but I’ve been researching the character and getting more into her. This movie with Gal Gadot definitely made me into a fan! If you haven’t seen it, or were on the fence about it, I would recommend seeing it for sure. The new Justice League movie came out this weekend with Wonder Woman in it so it’ll all tie in nicely together.

This sweater from Woolrich is one of my star fall pieces in my closet. I’ve had this forever and it’s stood the test of time. I pull it out every fall and work it into as many different outfits as I can. The burnt orange color is stunning along with the subtle mustard and green colors throughout. I paired this with a burgundy turtleneck, which blends in seamlessly, and my trusty Melie Bianco bag that I have literally been carrying with me everywhere. You’ve definitely seen it in many posts! It’s another fall piece that has been a stand by and one that I treasure.

Bow Ties

Bow Tie Sweater c/o || AG Skinny Jeans || Similar Leopard Heels || Melie Bianco Bag (Old, Similar Here) || Striped Turtleneck || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Happy Friday, friends! It’s no secret I have quite a love for anything with a bow on it. They can elevate even the simplest piece into something very special and of course I love the feminine feel. This sweater has two black bow ties on either side and a high low hemline. The bottom half of the sweater is open where the ties are so I layered a turtleneck underneath. It is a one size fits all and is only $21. There’s just something about a tan sweater in the fall. It’s a classic and goes with everything!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! It’s supposed to rain and even possibly snow up my way. Definitely good movie weather. There’s quite a few good ones out or coming out very soon. I’m particularly wanting to see Murder On The Orient Express. Poirot has always been a favorite of mine!

Over The Knee Boots

Similar Camel Turtleneck || Tan Fleece Vest || Green Sidewalk Skirt || Over The Knee Boots || Melie Bianco Bag (Old, Similar Here) || JFK Half Dollar Necklace || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! It's hard to believe Thanksgiving is only one week away. Where did the month of November go?! On that thought, where did 2017 go?? It always amazes me at how quickly time goes by anymore.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I had this outfit in mind when thinking of what to wear for the holiday. I want to wear something very fall festive and fell in love with this color combination. These over the knee boots are amazing and actually stay up on my legs! I have very thin legs and have trouble with over the knee styles staying up, slouchy suede boots specifically, which are very popular right now. These are suede, but not slouchy, and comfortably stay up without me having to constantly pull them up. Can we talk about how gorgeous the color is too?!? It's a deep cranberry wine that is a total knockout for fall and winter.

Mommy & Me- Love Sweatshirt

My Love Sweatshirt c/o || Ava’s Love Sweatshirt c/o || White Skinny Jeans || Kate Spade Gray Tassel Sneakers || Similar White Hat || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Happy Tuesday, everyone! Today is another installment of my “Mommy & Me” matching outfits that I cannot get enough of! The gray sweatshirts have Love written across them and are perfect for any mommy and baby duo. The sweatshirts are from Yoins, which has a great selection of matching outfits! I’m very impressed. I’m wearing a size XS and Ava is in a size 90. I love that these sweatshirts are something we can both wear numerous times on casual days or even dressed up with a black skirt and shoes. Also, it’s hard to believe that Ava is already half of my height and she’s only two years old! Maybe she’ll grow taller than me one day. It could happen, haha!

Creamy Neautrals

Woolrich Plaid Jacket (Similar Here) || Similar Tan Sweater || White Skinny Jeans || Tan Boots || Similar Tory Burch Bag || Stella & Dot Earrings || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  Is anyone else hating how it gets dark so early now? I’m definitely missing those extra hours of sunlight. We also had a blast of cold weather, which meant lots of hot vanilla latte’s and also Peppermint Mocha’s from Starbucks! Once the holiday season starts I always end up getting Peppermint Mocha’s. They’re refreshing and chocolaty at the same time. Yum! The Cranberry Bliss Bar from Starbucks is another favorite. Seriously, it is amazingly good.

This was one of my favorite recent outfits because of all the creamy tan neutrals. I’m a big fan of Woolrich, especially their coats, and love how they originated in Pennsylvania. I believe their PA factory still makes their famous wool blankets, but the rest of manufacturing has since moved over seas. This plaid jacket I picked up at their outlet store in Woolrich, PA. Yep, they have a town named after them! This sweater is soooo comfy and actually has a fleecey material inside. It keeps me warm and toasty. I couldn’t find it online, but I got this one at the J.Crew Factory store. My store still has them in stock and there is a HUGE sale going on right now!

Cranberry Jacket // Special Pieces

Cranberry Puffer Jacket || White Turtleneck || Similar Plaid Top || Madewell Skirt || Similar Leopard Loafers || Similar Dooney And Burke Bag (mine is passed down from my mom) || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring || Leopard Belt ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! Today’s look is all about some of my favorite fall colors and patterns mixed into one. It’s always fun mixing different prints together such as leopard and plaid. I’ve been loving this cranberry puffer jacket lately. The color is so rich and it’s the perfect weight for the in-between fall and winter temperatures. I typically would have gotten an XXS, but went with an XS so I could layer comfortably underneath it. The most special piece of this ensemble is my bag, which was my mother’s originally. She gave it to me a while ago, but once she passed I stopped taking it out for fear that something would happen to it. Lately, I’ve decided it was better to use it and remember her while carrying it with me.

Cozy Sweater // Black And Tan

Black Sweater c/o || Paige Black Skinny Jeans || Tory Burch Riding Boots || Kate Spade Bag || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Stella & Dot Ring || Stella & Dot Earrings ||

Good morning, friends! Last night I finshed watching the second season of Stranger Things  on Netflix. Literally everyone I know has been talking about the show and how good it is so I decided to see for myself. I basically watched seasons one and two in three days! It definitely gets you hooked on the story line.

I wore this super cozy sweater over the weekend and absolutely loved it! It has a roll neck, just like a turtleneck, and slightly long sleeves that have elastic at the end so they don’t cover your hands. Of course, you can pull them up over your hands if you wanted to. I do this sometimes when I get really cold. It is a one size fits all and is only $21. The fit is slightly cropped, though on someone taller than me, it may be an actual cropped sweater

Mommy And Me: The Red Dress

My Red Lace Dress c/o || Ava’s Red Lace Dress c/o || Sunglasses || DW Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring ||

Hello all and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Did anyone go see Thor?!? I have to say, it is was one the BEST Marvel movies and definitely the best Thor movie. It was so funny too! Kudos to Marvel and the whole Thor team, you guys outdid yourselves! Also, the newest episode of Outlander was on Sunday. Jamie and Claire, all the feels! This show basically combines all of my favorite things into one, history, romance, and an absolutely intriguing story with well developed characters.

As you know, my favorite posts are always the ones that feature my little Ava bug! Matching my outfit to Ava’s is one of my favorite things to do. Even if the outfits don’t match, sometimes I’ll still match the color scheme up. My mom used to love dressing my family up in matching outfits too. I even still have one of our matching dresses that I cannot wait to dress Ava and I up in. That will be a very special moment for me.

These red lace dresses Ava and I are wearing feature a delicate floral pattern and have an A-Line design. The fit is a little loose with some stretch to it. Very comfortable for wearing all day! I got my usual size of XS, but probably could have sized down to an XXS. Ava’s is a size 90. She typically fits into a US size 2T depending on the company. We both had so much fun in these dresses! These red dresses are so special to me now and I cannot wait to wear them for years to come.
