It’s been quite a while since my last beauty post, which got me thinking about the products I’ve been testing, and ended up loving, since the beginning of this year. Many of these I’m on my second or third bottles/jars meaning, they’re tried and true favorites! After using these products for the better part of the year, I’m confident in their ability to work and know they’re here to stay in my beauty routine.
Pixi Glow Peel Pads 20%: These are a game changer for my skin. It’s basically like swiping on a mini facial for 2 mins (or longer if you want) and reaping the benefits long afterwards. The Glycolic acid exfoliates and purifies while the rose water hydrates and revitalizes. Retinyl Palmitate renews and tones. it’s worth noting you will feel a stinging sensation while applying the pad, but i’ve always loved that. It feels like its working! These pads have dramatically changed the texture of my skin and also reduced breakouts. Only use in the PM
Clearasil Rapid Rescue: Similar to the Pixi Glow pads, these are also pads, though I only use them in the morning, and the key ingredient is 2% salicylic acid, which opens up blocked pores allowing the medicine to dive deep into the pore to help clean out all of the junk.
Boscia Luminizing Pink Mask: This mask is so much fun! Who doesn’t love a peel off mask?? I use it once a week applying a thick even layer over my entire face. The mask removes dirt and impurities, absorbs excess oil, and reveals a healthy, glowing complexion. I jokingly call it the Pepto Bismol mask since the color is so similar.
Rosehip Face Mask: This lovely pink mask is so relaxing to apply and leave on. It’s restorative, moisturizing, and 100% soothing. I usually apply this when I take a bath with my skin feeling so soft afterwards. I was able to find the face sheet version of this mask available online (mine is from TJ Maxx) along with this similar mask and also this one here.
Pixi Glow Tonic Serum: After my success with the pixi glycolic pads, I decided to give their glycolic serum a try. I typically use this as a moisturizer at night. The serum itself is lightweight and has a gel like consistency. Three drops covers my face, neck, and décolleté. The serum gently exfoliates, hydrates, and nourishes revealing softer and more radiant skin.
Neutrogena Lash Enhancer Serum: This is actually newer to the bunch having only been released recently. I’ve used the serum for one full month and currently on my second. The applicator is a small brush allowing for ease of application along the lash line and lashes. I apply this at night and have noticed my lashes appear stronger with less falling out. The peptides and biotin clearly are working, though I cannot comment if my lashes appear longer or not. It’s too soon for that.
Pantene Curl Affair: Pantene has upped their game with their new waterless collection. I love every single product in the collection, but the curl affair and the mist behaving really stand out for me. I use the curl affair either in damp hair as a lightweight wave maker or in dry hair as a wave re-shaper. Both ways work flawlessly for my wavy hair. The cream has pro-vitamin B5, argan oil, and omega 9 to hydrate and define for resilient touchable curls. This is not to be missed!
Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist: This right here! I’m completely smitten over this spray and for good reason. I use this on day after hair, dry, to instantly hydrate, nourish, and smooth unruly frizz and flyaways. Packed with pro-vitamin B5, omega 9, aloe vera, and jojoba oil, this mist makes my hair fresh and come alive. The scent is heavenly too.
