Mixing old and new pieces together breathes life into an ensemble and creates an entirely new look. For this festive fall outfit, I started with the beautiful blend of colors in the skirt, and chose pieces that matched or closely matched those colors. Soft gray, pink, navy blue, and a twist of burgundy all coordinate with the skirt and bring polish to the look. It’s an easy way to create a smart outfit when preparing for the day. The newer pink blazer, which I’ve been getting so much wear out of, created an entirely different feel and pop of color. Previously, the last time I featured the skirt two years ago, I paired the it with a navy sweater and navy peacoat for more of a monochromatic feeling. Same boots though! I adore these boots.
