I often get stuck in a hair rut simply because it’s relatively easy and in my comfort zone. I almost always keep my hair down with my natural waves and parted to the side. It’s my go-to style, but once the dog days of summer hit, no thank you! I cannot stand having my hair in my face or on my neck once the heat starts to increase. Most summer days you’ll find me in a top knot or a polished high ponytail. If I want to keep my hair down, I’ll throw on a hairband to keep my front pieces back. Another favorite is a braided style in the back with some added volume along the top. All of these styles are effortless and keep me cool, but can add stress to hair from root to ends leading to unwanted breakage. Knowing this, I try to be as gentle with my hair as possible often using this dry conditioning mist to smooth, detangle, and condition my hair daily. This shampoo gently cleanses and leaves hair moisturized and soft. Plus the scent is so yummy. This deep moisture mask provides intense hydration for brittle strands. I often use it 2-3 times a week. Also watch out for detangling, which can lead to more breakage on already stressed hair. Always work from the ends up. I’ve used these brushes for a few years now and love the flexible bristles. I hope some of my summer hair styles above can give you some inspiration to try something new, even if they are the old stand by favorites!
