It’s no secret that my go-to hair care products are from MoroccanOil. Their light treatment oil literally transformed my hair making me a devoted fan of their products. With Fall on the horizon, I know my hair will need a little extra TLC with the weather slowly starting to change. Whenever I want to give my hair some love, I turn to a deep conditioner or mask. This intense moisture mask does the trick in only 5 minutes. It is infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil and nourishing ingredients that hydrate and condition while dramatically improving hair's texture, elasticity, shine and manageability. A pro tip is to add in some of the light treatment oil into the creamy mask before applying to towel dried hair. My hair was even softer after doing that! I added about 2 pumps of the oil and loved the results. Depending on your hair type, 1 pump may be all you need. Give it a try next time!

Good morning, everyone! My favorite hair style to wear is curled, but I don't always have a ton of time to curl my hair everyday. When I saw this auto curler, I thought, yes! something that can save me time and get the job done. Basically, you need to really brush your hair out so its smooth and without any knots. After taking a one inch section of hair and pulling straight down on it, you place the hair into the roller, shut it, and let the roller curl your hair. It'll beep when the curl is finished. I do mine on the 12 second setting since my hair is thicker and never holds a curl very well. There was a bit of a learning curve for me with this. It definitely took me a few tries to get it just right. I used the auto curler on the left side of my hair in the photos above so you can see the difference. I found my hair looked more beachy waves than the curls I'm used to with my curling wand. I did like how there is a setting that will allow the curler to automatically switch the direction of the curl each time you use it for a more natural look.

Happy Friday, all! Today I'm sharing a a fabulous curling wand set that has eight different interchangeable barrels to achieve almost any desired look. The first photo above shows how my hair looks after air drying all night. My hair is naturally wavy and I use a leave in conditioner along with an oil to provide shine and tame any frizziness. As you can see, after I brush my hair, I lose the natural wave and it turns into a bit of a crimpy looking mess. Not to worry though! This curling wand literally takes only seconds to heat up, which pleasantly surprised me. Once heated, you only need to curl the hair for 5-10 seconds depending on the thickness of the hair. I've always considered my hair to be thick and I was able to get away with 5 seconds. I love the polished look curls have, especially having eight different styles to choose from! I adore my natural wave and how it allows me to get away with not styling my hair, but you cannot beat the elegance of a head of curls. The different styles range from tight, ringlet, spiral, ribbon, flick, large and bouncy, beachy or wavy, and a finger wave type. I'm using the 25mm barrel. For under $200, you cannot beat the 8 for 1 deal!

I took these photos while the storm Jonas was going on outside. Note the snowy pictures of me twirling around haha. I wanted to share one of my beauty go-to's when it comes to hair care. When I want a nice beachy type wave that feels very a la Lauren Conrad, I always reach for the Sultra 1.5in Curling Rod. This gives a beautiful relaxed curl that looks polished and smooth. If you want a tighter curl, I would go with the 1 in. The curling rod has an even heat of 380 degree from end to end locking in your curl and smoothing out the cuticle. One question I get asked the most often would be about my hair. What I do to style it and how I take care of it. The best starting point would be my daily shower routine where I basically shampoo with Herbal Essences and condition with OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco. In the shower I have a wooden comb that I brush the conditioner through with, leave in for the duration of the shower, and rinse out at the end. Next I towel drive my hair for a few minutes and then apply a spray on leave in conditioner from the middle to the ends of my hair. The one I use is Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri Wheat Leave In Conditioner. After that I use a spray gel from Garnier. Finally, from OGX, I apply a small amount of Argan Oil to the tips of my hair to keep them smooth and shiny. I brush all of the products through my hair and then simply let it air dry over night. I was blessed with naturally wavy hair, thank you mom!, and use the spray gel to keep the hold throughout the day.In the morning I put my hair in a small bun while I wash my face and put on my makeup. After that, I let it out, and brush the top to keep it smooth. I've always adored my hair color and natural wave and truly believe my hair has stayed so healthy because I do not use heated hair styling tools on it.
