Happy Monday! Being a photographer, I was immediately drawn to this dress the moment I saw it. The peter pan collar and camera print are so charming together along with the fit and flare styling, which in my opinion is always flattering. If I want to have some fun with an outfit, I always grab a printed dress or skirt. There's something quirky and unique about having a print piece and never boring. To keep with the photo exploration theme, I chose these rose gold loafers since I would not be wearing heels while doing a full day of traveling or walking around in the woods. The rose gold is sold out, but silver and black do remain. I always wear these when I want to look sharp while wearing flats.
I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. Luckily, my family is on the mend from our colds and feeling better. Friday I took Ava down to Valley Forge with my dad. Saturday Justin and I saw the Martian and Sunday we saw Spectre. I know some of you were saying you were going to see Bond as well. What did you think? I personally liked it, but thought it wasn't as good as Skyfall. I'm so conflicted on the ending too. I do not want to spoil the ending for those who have not seen it, but I do not want it to end like that haha.

The weather has been a bit gloomy lately, though the sun did finally make an appearance yesterday, so some pretty pastels were in order to cheer and brighten up the surroundings. Pastels always put me in a good mood and never fail to bring a smile to my face. While they definitely fit into the spring wardrobe, I find that pastels can work any time of the year and trust me, I certainly do wear them year round. I've been wearing this blush blazer so much lately to polish up any outfit or to simply keep me warm when the weather takes a slight dip. Definitely one of my favorite buys this year.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Friday today! Finally we made it to the weekend and I am especially excited since today I turn 27. Time certainly has flown by with so many moments to look back upon and cherish. I must say that I have always been in love with the actual date of my birthday, May 29th, since it is also the same birthday as John F. Kennedy, whom I adore. Thank you mom for the impeccable timing!
I wanted this photo shoot to be a fun one and thought, well balloons are fun and so is some confetti! I'll tell you what's not so fun though, balloons on a very windy day. It was definitely tough trying to keep these suckers where I wanted them. In the end, I just let them go where they wanted, but it did take me 2 hours to get through the shoot! I love how colorful this dress is along with the pretty Charles David rose gold heels. In the confetti photos, I'm wearing flats from JustFab, which are also so colorful and have the prettiest rhine stones on them.

This time I wanted to try something a bit different with a little more of a laid back, yet polished look. Enter the forever comfortable and effortlessly chic chambray shirt. Stripes pair with practically everything in your closet so buying this skirt was a no brainier. As I mentioned before, it does run a bit small so ordering up one size would be best. I don't think there is any question about how popular and classic stripes are. Essentially, they are eternally chic and have never gone out of style. I wanted to pair mine with some leopard heels, which I am in love with, and a pretty pink top. I love the detailing of pearls and rhine stones along the collar. It adds such a feminine flair to the top. There's so many ways to style this skirt, which is always a plus since it can pair with so many different items in your closet. How lovely is this bow bag too! It's actually a faint blush color, but always comes up a nude in photos. The skirt does run a bit small though. Normally I would have gotten the small and opted for the medium based on the reviews. It has an elastic waist with a zipper in the back and fit perfectly.

Happy Thursday everyone! I can almost feel the weekend being here. I'm sure by now you know how much I love bows, especially romantic whimsical feeling ones. When I saw this dress on Modcloth, I absolutely fell in love. This has such a dreamy quality to it from the beautiful bow to the lovely lace underneath the delicate overlay. The beige tone has a softness to it which only adds to the romantic feeling. Not only that, but this dress is so comfortable to wear! I know I'll be wearing this all spring and summer for any occasions we might be going to from a nice dinner to a stroll in the park. I got the size small, which fit perfectly, especially with the lack of a waist.

Happy Monday everyone! What better way to start the week then with some pretty polka dots. An absolute favorite print of mine, this style seems to only get better as the years go on. I wore this outfit to a friends baby shower last weekend, not even realizing the theme was casino based, and saw that my shoes matched the "dice" decorations. That worked our perfectly! I chose this dress mainly because it was blue and my lovely friend is having a baby boy. Plus, this fit over my baby bump and kept me feeling comfortable for the whole party. I want to thank everyone for the most wonderfully kind comments Chelsea and I received on Instagram for her birthday post! It's absolutely amazing to belong to a community made up of so many lovely ladies and gentlemen. Chelsea celebrated her 18th birthday this past Friday April 17th and we spent the whole day basically snuggling together and giving her some extra treats to celebrate. I feel so very blessed to have my little fur baby. She simply lights up my life every single day. Justin and her even have a very special bond. She fell in love with him from day one. He really knows how to charm the Kretchmer girls! I cannot even begin to explain how much I love her and feel as if she really were one of my own children. She's the best little friend I've ever had.
I took a much needed break yesterday since I've been battling this cold, which took a slight turn for the worse, and could not be happier that I did. Nothing like a little rest to help heal the body. This is a bitter sweet post since it is my last California outfit, but oh what a fun day we had at the San Diego zoo! I wanted something that was comfortable since I knew we would be walking around the whole day. I picked up these espadrilles at a Target in San Diego, that has two floors!, and absolutely fell in love with the tropical print and comfort of them! You will not be disappointed with these. The tote was great for storing anything we bought and even my camera when I did not want to lug it around my neck anymore. Let me just say also that tunics are absolutely perfect for pregnancy. I was so comfy in this and adore that I can wear it afterwards as well. A win-win situation in my book.
Happy Friday everyone! Nothing makes me happier than getting closer to the weekend and Friday night takes the cake. This look was all about cool minty and blues hues as we spent our day at the beach and bike riding around Coronado Island. My little slice of paradise. Of course, some shopping was done as you can see in the first picture, which is where I scored this beautiful hat at the French Room on the island. It's a beautiful boutique filled with charming treasures sure to please every fashion palette.
This was one of my most favorite outfits that I wore on the trip. I had envisioned the nautical look and then hunted down the perfect pieces to create it. After staying with our friends over night, we traveled down the Pacific Coast Highway and eventually reached San Diego. This was our first day actually being in San Diego and we spent it on Coronado Island, my new paradise. We rode bikes around the island and watched the sunset on the beach. All of these pieces fit so perfectly together and I absolutely adore anything that has a nautical theme to it. I also love how all of these pieces can be worn with different outfits to create a completely new look.

Happy Monday all! I wanted something bright, happy, and to have a Spring like feel for this Monday morning. Nothing like a little inspiration to think Spring and get in the mood, even if the weather is not cooperating. Obviously I have a thing for tulle skirts and twirling in them. They always feel so beautiful and whimsical, which is why I adore them so. This peach one from Modcloth was featured back in the Fall in a Lady Like outfit that I love so much. Two different styles for such a pretty skirt.
