Good morning, friends! This plaid top gives me all the holiday feels! The bright red catches the eye while the plaid sleeves add a beautiful contrast.  It’s the perfect top for fall and transitioning over to the Christmas season. They say it’s all in the details and I completely agree! The little bow tie gives this top a vintage twist and elevates it to anything but basic. I kept with the plaid theme and chose this midi skirt I’ve had from Forever 21. It’s fantastic on those cold days. These plaid shoes finish off the outfit nicely, also having a very chic navy bow on them with little rhinestones. The top runs true to size. I’m wearing a small and it’s on sale now for $18!

Happy Friday, all! I am so excited for this weekend since it is supposed to be in the mid 40s. Seriously, that will feel like a heat wave after the frigid temps we've been having! What are some of your weekend plans? I really want to see The Revenant, but I'm not sure I'll actually get to doing that haha. I always like to see the majority of the best picture Oscar nominees before the ceremony. It's the one awards show that is a must see for me.

I've said this before, but fringe is one of my favorite trends right now. It's a throwback to the 70s era, which is not necessarily my favorite decade, but this is one part of it I can definitely get behind. A very happy Wednesday morning to everyone! I cannot believe it is the day before New Years Eve already. Amazing how time flies by when you're having fun and raising a baby haha. Does anyone have any special plans for New Years?

Plaid has always been a go-to print for me because of how classic it is. Each piece of this ensemble has a timeless feeling in its own right and when put together, the outcome is one of simple elegance. The khaki trench coat from Shein is a piece you will wear over and over again and never tire of. I always think of Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca when it comes to classic trench coats! It has a great heavy material and a cute plaid inner lining. I always love a plaid button down underneath a cozy sweater. It's simple and chic, plus it adds that needed warmth. Another timeless piece that will get good use is a gold watch. This one from Rumba Time has the look and feel of a high end designer, but without the price tag. Win-Win! I was pretty amazed by the detail and quality of this piece and love how it'll go with just about any outfit I pair it with ranging from little black dresses to button downs with jeans. Last, but not least, a great pair of tortoise shell sunnies will keep you stylish the whole year round. This pair from Freyrs, for only $39.95, sit comfortably on my face and feel so very vintage inspired, which I adore. They look and feel more expensive than they really are. They have a medium fit so if you are not into the over sized sunnies, then these are definitely for you.

Whenever I travel, I always dress for the destination in mind. My dad, Ava, and I all traveled down to Valley Forge this past Friday for a seminar. I always go to the park and explore all the beautiful scenery it has to offer. Knowing that I'll be doing quite a bit of walking, I opted for flat boots that would be practical for the fall weather. There's nothing quite like seeing all of the beautiful leaves together in one place, whether they be still on the trees or blanketing the ground. There was a heavy fog lifting when we arrived that gave a mystical feeling. I'm always drawn to plaid in the fall, or any time of the year really, and wanted to layer it in a cozy glam faux fur vest. I'm been getting a lot of miles out of vests lately, you can never go wrong with them! The weather was cool, but getting warmer in the afternoon when I could simply take off the vest and be comfortable. To add another touch of elegance, I added this pearl crystal statement necklace from Humble Chic. I've been wearing this a lot lately since it goes with everything and adds class to any look. This would be a great necklace for the holidays as either a gift or to add some sparkle to your look!

Happy Monday everyone! If I've said it once, I'll say it one million times, plaid is the basic essential for fall. It's a pattern I simply cannot get enough of! Today I'm wearing this plaid knit cardigan from Shein and it's under $30! I love how you can simply throw it on and have an instant outfit. For look number one I wanted to go a bit more casual, but still have a put together look. The second look incorporates a dressier feel with a bright red dress and some studded heels. The cardigan actually reminds me of a blanket scarf, which makes me love it that much more! The sizing is a one size fits all and I had no trouble with wearing it.

Fall Uniform + Day 2 of the Finger Lakes

Happy Friday lovelies! I think everyone can agree that a plaid shirt is essential for your fall wardrobe. Am I right?! I love how this one mixes in the chambray detail making it unique and classic. You could wear it casual like I did with jeans and booties or with a circle skirt for a little extra glam look. This was the perfect casual comfy outfit for the second day of our trip in the Finger Lakes. I wanted something easy, casual, and classic. We were also traveling back home so I needed my outfit to be comfy. As I mentioned before here, Justin and I love to drive around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We always stop at Gimme Coffee in Trumansburg to fuel up. I've always adored their latte's in particular. We stopped off at the Allan H Treman State Marine Park for our picnic before we left. It was an amazingly gorgeous day to sit and gaze out at the harbor with the pretty sail boats passing by. Definitely a spot I would recommend if you ever have the chance.

A wonderful Tuesday to everyone! One pattern that always stays in style for fall would have to be plaid. I can never get enough of it! This dress is an autumn staple and even had a slight 70s vibe to it, which is having a moment right now. My favorite way to accessorize an outfit is with leopard. I use it all the time that it really has become a neutral for me. I last wore this collegiate cardi here and love how well it pairs up with the plaid. It was windy in Rehoboth when I shot these photos so the extra layer felt quite nice! This was actually the first day of our vacation which meant lots of exploring to see if anything had changed in town since we had been there last year. Also, with it being so windy, my hair immediately went up into a quick bun to keep it from flying all over the place. There are definitely some family photos where you can see my hair whipping around or you see me trying to keep it held in place. Such is life haha. Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Monday everyone! Ava, my dad, and I all arrived back from our beach vacation last night. We had an amazing time and it was so exciting to have Ava on her first big trip. I cannot wait to share some photos with you! Right before we left I wore this outfit to run some errands around town with my little love bug. I adore the feather hemline along this plaid top from Leah and Pearl. A little touch of whimsy completely romanticizes the look and plaid is absolute perfection for fall.

Happy Wednesday! This week has been flying by for me so far, especially with the beautiful weather we've been having. Ava and I have been getting outside everyday taking walks, shooting blog posts, driving around, visiting with friends and family, and even some doctor visits. Speaking of, I had my six week postpartum checkup yesterday and everything is a-ok. As I mentioned, the weather has been extremely fantastic lately and I'm loving every second of it! Sunshine filled days with the perfect mid 70s temperature.  Cool mornings and nights with warm afternoons.

I love wearing a casual plaid top with some skinnies and a chic blazer to spice up the outfit during the beautiful fall season. The blazer also adds that little bit of extra warmth for the cool parts of the day. How gorgeous is the wine color too?! It has me dreaming of going wine tasting in the Finger Lakes, which we have planned for early October. Justin and I always go up around our anniversary and this year we get to take along little Ava. We like to drive around and take in all of the scenery while stopping at our favorite wineries to pick up some bottles of our favorite wines. I cannot wait!

Happy Monday everyone! This past weekend was the last weekend of summer and it could not have been more perfect. The weather was beautiful and I got to spend some quality time with my little family. I even manged to get in some house work while taking care of baby Ava. If you follow my instagram (@amandabrezovsky) then you even saw that I enjoyed my fist PSL of the season from Dunkin Donuts. It tastes like fall in a cup =)

One of my favorite things about fall is feeling cozy while cuddled up in some soft layers. This cashmere cardigan is an absolute must for when the temperatures start to dip down. I wear it constantly when it gets a bit chilly in my house. Another look I've had on repeat lately is a plaid shirt. I wore this blue one here in an earlier post. It's the one quint essential fall item that will carry you through the transition, fall, and winter seasons. Pair it now with some white skinnies or a solid colored skirt and then later with some dark wash jeans and booties or black skinnies, riding boots, and a tan cardi. This is one of my favorite fall looks that I basically live in, especially when I'm in a cozy type of mood.

Thanksgiving Look #3

I have to say I am a little more than obsessed with this outfit. The pattern and textures are what get me. The bag and top both have a quilted texture and the fit and flare skirt has a plaid pattern, always in style and chic. The flippiness of the skirt feels fun and gives swishy movement every time you walk. To top off the look, a black riding cap. I'm such a fan of hats, I wish women and men alike would wear them more often. This ensemble looks fresh and yet has such a classic feel to it, which makes it perfect for my Thanksgiving look number three. This look has a minimal feel to it, but packs a big punch with its feminine details like the quilting and plaid. A fail safe with the black and white combo, this is sure to be a winning look during the holiday season.
