Whenever I travel, I always dress for the destination in mind. My dad, Ava, and I all traveled down to Valley Forge this past Friday for a seminar. I always go to the park and explore all the beautiful scenery it has to offer. Knowing that I'll be doing quite a bit of walking, I opted for flat boots that would be practical for the fall weather. There's nothing quite like seeing all of the beautiful leaves together in one place, whether they be still on the trees or blanketing the ground. There was a heavy fog lifting when we arrived that gave a mystical feeling. I'm always drawn to plaid in the fall, or any time of the year really, and wanted to layer it in a cozy glam faux fur vest. I'm been getting a lot of miles out of vests lately, you can never go wrong with them! The weather was cool, but getting warmer in the afternoon when I could simply take off the vest and be comfortable. To add another touch of elegance, I added this pearl crystal statement necklace from Humble Chic. I've been wearing this a lot lately since it goes with everything and adds class to any look.
