Happy Friday, friends! It’s official that my favorite color, besides pink, for the fall and winter season is burgundy. I gravitate towards the rich color every single year and swoon each time I see dazzling items in the deep reddish-brown shade.

Mother Nature wasted no time in dropping the temperature once October hit this year. While we may be in store for cooler autumn season (I shudder to think what the winter is going to be like), it does allow to start pulling out all of the fabulous fabrics that fall has to offer.

Pumpkin season is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with these pretty pumpkin sweaters in a creamy tan neutral with beautiful beading details. Ava and I both decided to add a little pizazz with some sparkles and sequins in our leggings and then a bit of gold metallic shine with our shoes.

Good morning, everyone! As you may have noticed, I’ve been a bit absent on here, and for good reason which i’ll discuss in a separate post following this one. Some happy news, my brother got married this past weekend!! I had the honor of photographing their special day. I love editing the photos and getting to relive all of the lovely memories of the beautiful day. Ava got to walk one of their dogs down the isle, which was soooo cute! I can’t wait to share some moments from the day.
Everything about this outfit says fall to me from the otk the knee boots, to corduroy skirt, and the sweatshirt with pops of leopard and a cozy feel. Personally, I’m a HUGE fan of leopard, but if you aren’t, this top works for both. The neck and cuffs have little leopard ruffles that give a nice pop of pattern without being overwhelming. So chic! I typically wear an XXS, but decided to size up to an XS in the sweatshirt for a roomier look.

Welcome to my favorite month of the year! So many wonderful things happen in May that make my heart fill with joy. Not only does the weather start to finally turn around (April showers bring May flowers!), but we have Mother’s Day, my birthday, May the 4th be with you for the Star Wars fans, Memorial Day, and our annual vacation to the Cape. It’s a month that I’ve looked forward to for as long as I can remember and still do to this day. I long to be spend time outdoors and May is the month where that finally starts to happen on a consistent basis. So here’s to the month of May, my favorite month of the year!
It’s a priority of mine to always look put together whether I’m dressed in jeans, a skirt, or a dress. On my more laid back days you’ll find me in some variation of this casual elegant outfit. This look is favorite of mine for still being dressed up, yet in a relaxed fashion. The pleated floral skirt is a dream to wear! I’m a big fan of pleats with them being especially fun for a good twirl. Ava and I were walking around looking at all of the cherry blossoms in town during this shoot. She is the absolute sweetest too. I cannot say enough how lucky I am to have her. She loves to give me kisses when we get photos together, which melts my heart. She also kept picking flowers for me and gets so excited to give them to me, which of course earns her another kiss!

Good morning, friends! One of my absolute favorite things to do is to slip into some cozy lounge wear at the end of a long day. Its the beginning of my routine to help me unwind, relax, and get settled in for the night ahead. While I love to get dressed up when heading out, I equally love to get comfortable when I’m at home. Being comfortable does not mean having to forsake being put together! Lounge wear has come a long way in recent years, even being an ensemble itself. Joggers are pretty popular to be seen out and about now. I try to keep mine for when I’m around the house doing some chores or relaxing with a good book. Speaking of, the book I’m reading above, my current read, is The Fabulous Bouvier Sisters. I am so engrossed in this book! I take it everywhere with me just so I can catch a page here or there. You can almost always find me with a cup of hot tea and a good book in my hand.

These slippers are the perfect addition to any pajama or lounge wear items you may have. I love wearing the socks with a cozy nightgown or shorts set. Did you catch the adorable little bows on the back of the plush pink slippers?!? Not only do they feel like you’re walking on air, but they’re just as pretty with little details like this.

Good morning and happy Thursday! Yesterday was officially the first day of spring! I'm so excited, haha. While the calendar may say spring, the weather in PA still thinks its winter, though I'm hoping that will change shortly. You can still see some snow sticking around in the photos above. With spring on my mind, I wanted something bright and cheery with lots and lots of color for the beginning of one of my favorite seasons. Rainbow colors have been very popular lately, especially when they have a vintage vibe and are in a stripe pattern. I love the fact that this even looks like a dress, but its a top and skirt. I will say the skirt was a bit big on me. I'm wearing a 00 and wished I could have gotten a 000. I would size down at least one size if available. You all know my love for denim jackets too so I was particular;y pleased to find this white one, which feels fresh and new instead of the traditional blue. It's a great layering piece for the cooler spring days and nights!
Today is such a special one for my family and I. My brother is being honored at an awards ceremony for saving two lives while he was on duty as a police officer. I could not be more proud of my baby brother! I cannot wait to see him tonight.

Spring Time Feeling
Whenever the weather turns nice, I instantly feel the need to pull out all of my dresses and skirts. Spring fever hit yesterday and boy did it feel good! I do have to say that so far we have had a mild winter, which I love, and have even had some warm days mixed in with the blustery cold. I'm not complaining, haha. With some warmth in the air, I grabbed this peony printed midi skirt along with this striped bow tie top. I've always been a big fan of pairing blue and pink together. It's one of my favorite color combinations and one that I use quite frequently. Pretty much every girl I ran into while out also loved the skirt. You know its a winner when that happens! For sizing, I'm wearing a xs and found it to fit perfectly at my waist.

A very happy Wednesday morning to everyone! I cannot believe it is the day before New Years Eve already. Amazing how time flies by when you're having fun and raising a baby haha. Does anyone have any special plans for New Years?
Plaid has always been a go-to print for me because of how classic it is. Each piece of this ensemble has a timeless feeling in its own right and when put together, the outcome is one of simple elegance. The khaki trench coat from Shein is a piece you will wear over and over again and never tire of. I always think of Rick and Ilsa from Casablanca when it comes to classic trench coats! It has a great heavy material and a cute plaid inner lining. I always love a plaid button down underneath a cozy sweater. It's simple and chic, plus it adds that needed warmth. Another timeless piece that will get good use is a gold watch. This one from Rumba Time has the look and feel of a high end designer, but without the price tag. Win-Win! I was pretty amazed by the detail and quality of this piece and love how it'll go with just about any outfit I pair it with ranging from little black dresses to button downs with jeans. Last, but not least, a great pair of tortoise shell sunnies will keep you stylish the whole year round. This pair from Freyrs, for only $39.95, sit comfortably on my face and feel so very vintage inspired, which I adore. They look and feel more expensive than they really are. They have a medium fit so if you are not into the over sized sunnies, then these are definitely for you.
