Happy Friday, friends! I wanted to kick off Friday with a casual fun look for the weekend. Gingham is one those prints that just screams spring and summer. I typically see the fan favorite print in either black, blue, or red so I jumped at the chance when I saw this top is pink. How cute is the bow too?! I love how this wrap top creates a nice big bow and makes that the focal point of the look. I’ve also been crazy busy lately and using my travel mug more and more it seems. While I do enjoy my morning tea/coffee out of my vintage tea cups, it does help when we’re on the go to have this beautiful travel mug at my side. The pink gingham top runs true to size. I’m wearing a small for reference.

Bow Back Gingham Top

Hello, all! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I was able to go see Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and totally loved it. Definitely a great sequel to the first one, which was so funny. Has anyone seen it or plan on going to see it?

This bow back gingham top is seriously the cutest! Not only is it one of my favorite summer prints, but the bow back detail is absolutely darling. The peplum hem is only adds to the overall charm of the top, which also comes in a red and blue print. It should be noted that the back of the top is completely open and ties with the bows. I'm wearing an XS for reference. I actually also wore this top with blue skinny jeans and my pink slides for a more casual look. The white skinny jeans and leopard heels add a touch of glamour to the top for a fun night out. Leopard and gingham work so well together!

Ruffles and Spakles

What really gets me excited about an outfit is the details, whether it be a cute little bow, an exaggerated ruffle, or simple sparkles, its the details that make me swoon. The ruffled sleeves on this gingham top give it a feminine flair with a trendy vibe. I'll always be a sucker for gingham too. It has a slightly boxy cut and runs true to size (I'm wearing an XS.) The top is under $20 too! How amazing are these star glitter pumps too?!?! They also fit true to size and give me all of the feels. They're also part of the the surprise Shopbop sale that is going on right now. It ends today (11-3.)

I have some exciting news that absolutely made my day yesterday. I mean, I was literally smiling from ear to ear and could not wait to tell my family and friends. At the beginning of each month Lauren Conrad chooses 10 style tips to showcase of her website laurenconrad.com. One of my outfits was chosen (the third one down on the list) and she even said it was one of her favorite looks for the month! She has always been one of my top inspirations in not only fashion, but also life in general. It was such a special moment for me, especially since she personally wrote the article, which you can see here. A few years back, I was also one of her Chic of the Week picks and let me tell you, that moment gave me so much inspiration. My jaw literally dropped when I visited her site and saw my picture looking back at me. I remember how excited everyone was, especially my dad and Justin. Both of these moments mean the world to me.
