Good Morning and happy Monday! This has to be one of my favorite Mommy & Me outfits to date! This pink layered tulle skirt has been on my Chicwish wishlist for quite some time now. It’s whimsically romantic and the prettiest shade of blush. This skirt has a magical quality to it. It really does! It’s one of those pieces that can make you feel at your best. It can set the mood for the entire day. Doesn’t the skirt remind you of Carrie Bradshaw in the opening of Sex And The City too?? There is a new black style that was just released as well. When I saw there was a matching skirt for the little ones, I knew this would be perfect for my little mini me and I. Ava and I felt like princesses and everyone that saw us stopped to say how much they loved our outfits. It’s was the coolest day! We danced and twirled all while laughing and having a good time. Kisses and hugs included <3 I’m wearing an XS/Small and Ava is in a 3-4 year.

There's something quite special about the spring. Everything is in bloom and coming back to life again. The air is beautifully fragrant with flowers and warm with afternoon sun. The skies are blue and the birds are chirping their morning songs with such cheerfulness. It's hard not to be in love with the spring time. I always get so excited for its arrival and wish that it never had to leave. While I've always been a big fan of tulle skirts anytime throughout the year, I especially love them in the spring. The green and pink combination blends in perfectly to the blooming backdrop that is everywhere I look. I'm also swooning over wicker bags as I've mentioned before. This cross body is one of my favorites for its chic circle shape and its ease to hold. Its a go-to bag that will carry you throughout the season! Even little Ava loves it <3

Happy Monday, friends and happy Thanksgiving week! Over this past weekend we had some crazy weather. Saturday it went from a beautiful fall day with highs in the 70s to overnight temps dropping and staying in the 30s with snow in toe. Seems like winter is here now, though I hope fall pops her head back in every now and then until winter is supposed to be here. Knowing this weather change was coming, we made sure to get out Saturday and really enjoy the last hurrah of the nice weather. We went to New Hope and Peddlers Village for the day to walk around the main streets with shops and restaurants. New Hope has a beautiful walking path that we strolled along until sunset. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. Peddlers Village was all decorated with Christmas lights too! Truly a fantastic and magical site to see.
Speaking of the holidays and it being Thanksgiving week, this outfit is another option for a dressier look you can wear for Thanksgiving. The creamy crochet top adds some beautiful texture while being cozy enough to cuddle up in. Its a bit heavier making it more like a sweater, but still very light to wear. The crochet detailing wraps around to the back and has a pretty scalloped fringe hemline, great for showing off with some skinny jeans. The neutral colors feel fancy, especially with the tulle skirt, which always has an element of whimsy to it. Along with this look being a Thanksgiving option, this would also work for a date night or fun out with the girls.

One word that comes to mind when I think of this look is romance. The dreamy pink tulle skirt matched with the softer makeup and braided hair crown all come together beautifully in this re-imagining of a ballerina. I have a certain weakness when it comes to tulle and this skirt is no exception! It's a one size fits all with a little tie at the waist to help with the fit and a price point of under $18. The length was perfect for me and I love how the skirt moved if a slight breeze hit or when I was walking. I'm not sure if anyone here has ever worn a unitard piece, but they are amazing! I love wearing them with skirts since there is no extra bunching of fabric when you tuck your shirt in. This one I'm wearing is an old Modcloth buy from a few years ago, but similar ones like this are available now. The seamless smooth fit is worth it. I'll go into more depth with tomorrow's post about the hairstyle, but I'll quickly touch base with it here since this was the finished product. I used this dry shampoo, which is actually a powder and smells sooooo good, and this hairspray to create the braided crown. It was easier than I thought and I was happy with how it turned out. It's something I'll have to perfect, but for a first try, not too bad haha!

Black, white, and red is such a classic color combo that I do not think I will ever tire of. It evokes fun and elegance all in one. I've been wanting a red coat for ages and fell in love with this bow one from the Lookbook Store (wearing a US 4) that has a detachable fur collar. You know I love anything with a bow on it! It also has pockets, which absolutely sold me. I've been obsessed with this striped sequin shirt too. See how I wore it last here. Add in a little bit of tulle to this look and you have one fabulous outfit! This black tulle skirt (wearing a US 2) adds some practical magic to any outfit you pair it with, plus I love the midi length and elastic waist. Talk about being comfy.
