One word that comes to mind when I think of this look is romance. The dreamy pink tulle skirt matched with the softer makeup and braided hair crown all come together beautifully in this re-imagining of a ballerina. I have a certain weakness when it comes to tulle and this skirt is no exception! It's a one size fits all with a little tie at the waist to help with the fit and a price point of under $18. The length was perfect for me and I love how the skirt moved if a slight breeze hit or when I was walking. I'm not sure if anyone here has ever worn a unitard piece, but they are amazing! I love wearing them with skirts since there is no extra bunching of fabric when you tuck your shirt in. This one I'm wearing is an old Modcloth buy from a few years ago, but similar ones like this are available now. The seamless smooth fit is worth it. I'll go into more depth with tomorrow's post about the hairstyle, but I'll quickly touch base with it here since this was the finished product. I used this dry shampoo, which is actually a powder and smells sooooo good, and this hairspray to create the braided crown. It was easier than I thought and I was happy with how it turned out. It's something I'll have to perfect, but for a first try, not too bad haha!

Sigh, this is the skirt dreams are made of, well mine are at least. I have such a love for tulle skirts, especially ones that make me feel like a ballerina. While the skirt is very feminine, the other parts of the outfit are neutral, which balance each other out giving a nice lady like effect. I choose black as my neutral here and opted for a blush tone with the heels instead of black. It blends nicely with the skirt and also gives the illusion of longer legs. This is a perfect holiday outfit might I add. Glam, yet understated and completely lovely.

This had to be one of my favorite outfits to photograph. I felt like a ballerina and fairy princess all rolled into one. Believe me, there were many twirling moments that occurred. I kept my hair up in a big loose ballerina bun accented by a pearl headband. The glittery gold shoes are another recent addition to my collection. I fell in love with the Enzo Angiolini brand since they fit so well and look stylish, while also being comfortable to walk in. Jewelry wise I wanted to keep it simple. My usual necklace and bracelet (the necklace a gift from Justin and the tennis bracelet from my mom) with pink earrings and an additional pink rhinestone bracelet. The dress was a gift from Justin for my most recent birthday.
