Good Morning and happy Monday! This has to be one of my favorite Mommy & Me outfits to date! This pink layered tulle skirt has been on my Chicwish wishlist for quite some time now. It’s whimsically romantic and the prettiest shade of blush. This skirt has a magical quality to it. It really does! It’s one of those pieces that can make you feel at your best. It can set the mood for the entire day. Doesn’t the skirt remind you of Carrie Bradshaw in the opening of Sex And The City too?? There is a new black style that was just released as well. When I saw there was a matching skirt for the little ones, I knew this would be perfect for my little mini me and I. Ava and I felt like princesses and everyone that saw us stopped to say how much they loved our outfits. It’s was the coolest day! We danced and twirled all while laughing and having a good time. Kisses and hugs included <3 I’m wearing an XS/Small and Ava is in a 3-4 year.

Pink Frills

This is without a doubt one of my favorite outfits that I've worn recently. I keep thinking back to how magical the whole ensemble felt. Each little embellishment adds a bit of whimsy that makes my heart flutter. The layered tulle skirt is the showstopper in the most feminine way. I'm wearing a US 0 for reference. We've been having some amazing weather lately, mid 50s in November!, but I find wearing a midi or maxi style skirt is great for the cooler weather. The extra length keeps you warm while still looking effortlessly chic. How adorable is the bow fascinator too?! The glitter heels, along with the baublebar star drop earrings and bracelet set all add that extra little sparkle as if being the frosting on the cake. The perfect little topper to finish off the girly look. I'm wearing a 37 (US 6.5) for reference with the heels. They're in European sizes, but fit true to size.

One word that comes to mind when I think of this look is romance. The dreamy pink tulle skirt matched with the softer makeup and braided hair crown all come together beautifully in this re-imagining of a ballerina. I have a certain weakness when it comes to tulle and this skirt is no exception! It's a one size fits all with a little tie at the waist to help with the fit and a price point of under $18. The length was perfect for me and I love how the skirt moved if a slight breeze hit or when I was walking. I'm not sure if anyone here has ever worn a unitard piece, but they are amazing! I love wearing them with skirts since there is no extra bunching of fabric when you tuck your shirt in. This one I'm wearing is an old Modcloth buy from a few years ago, but similar ones like this are available now. The seamless smooth fit is worth it. I'll go into more depth with tomorrow's post about the hairstyle, but I'll quickly touch base with it here since this was the finished product. I used this dry shampoo, which is actually a powder and smells sooooo good, and this hairspray to create the braided crown. It was easier than I thought and I was happy with how it turned out. It's something I'll have to perfect, but for a first try, not too bad haha!
