Mary-Jane & A Blue Bow

Blue Coat c/o || Mary-Jane Dress c/o || Similar Floral Bag || Similar Pink Heels || Gold Hoop Earrings || Pink & Blue Co. Bracelet c/o ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, dear friends! Pink and blue are two of my favorite colors, especially when combined, such as with this Mary-Jane dress, which feels soft as silk. Truly a delight to wear! The front has buttons, a classic collar, and contrast along the folded cuff. Not to be outdone, the navy blue coat has the same pattern as the dress for the lining and an adorable bow at the neck. I must say, I loveeee matching and bows making this one flawless combo to wear. Not only is the bow on the coat chic, but it’ll also keep the wind at bay on those chilly winter days. Practical and stylish!

If anyone is looking for something new to watch on Netflix, I just started The Politician and it is soooo good! I’m two episodes in and completely hooked. It’s about an ambitious high school student who wants to be president of the United States. The first thing he must do is navigate the political landscape of highschool. I love how they intertwine some political history into the story along with the comedy, drama, and insight on how to achieve being a politician.

Good morning! If there’s one print this season that’s standing out from the crowd and trending widely, it’s animal print. I’ve always been a huge fan of leopard and use it as a neutral for many of my outfits. This fall, ALL animals prints from snake, leopard, cheetah, and zebra are huge and add a fun dimension to your wardrobe. This zebra dress I’m wearing is silky to the touch and feels amazing on. I love how it’s actual zebra’s on the dress too. I couldn’t find the specific dress online, but they do have a top with the print. This leather moto jacket actually goes with the dress and has the same zebra print for the lining. I actually have the jacket on now for the chilly mornings we’ve been having. It’s the perfect weight for cool mornings and evenings.

Creamy Tones For Fall

Cream Coat c/o || Cream Dress c/o || Cap Toe Pumps || Circle Crocodile Bag || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Earrings || Pink & Blue Co. Bracelet c/o ||

Good morning and happy Monday, friends! Theres something incredibly elegant about creamy tones in the fall and winter. I instantly think of Jackie Kennedy during JFK’s inaugural address. While many of the women attending the event were in dark winter colors of navy and black, she stood out in a beautiful camel colored coat dress, matching pillbox hat, and white elbow length gloves. I can’t help but to think of Kate Middleton as well, who is always so effortlessly chic and polished. This cream colored coat with an inner twill lining and front patch pockets exudes the very same elegance Jackie carried with her on that historic day. The also comes with a matching cream dress. Both fit true to size.

Sun Kissed Cheetah

Good morning and happy new year!! It’s technically already one week into the new year, but this is my first time posting here in 2019 so cheers to all that new year has to offer. Some other big news, and the reason I’ve been a bit MIA throughout December, is that Ava and I moved! We are now officially home owners and beyond excited and thankful for this blessing.

You can never go wrong with a simple jersey dress that is not only chic, but also one of the most comfortable materials to wear. To make this cold weather appropriate, I added a turtleneck sweater underneath. The black accessories balance the cheetah print out nicely. I added a bit of dazzle with the shoes and clutch having sequins because, why not?!

Winter Pop Of Red

Red Embellished Coat c/o || Hunter Boots || Similar Plaid Shoes || Box Clutch || Woolrich Plaid Ear Muffs (Similar) || Similar Gloves || Cluster Stone Drop Earrings ||

Good morning and happy Monday, friends! One of my favorite colors to wear in winter is a bright pop of red. It’s stands out particularly well against a snowy white background and brings all the happy cheeriness along with it. This coat from Julie Brown NYC is the definition of stunning. Not only is it a gorgeous shade of red, but the arms have little bows with pearl and rhinestone buttons as well as the from buttons being the same. The sleeve length is cut at 3/4 reminding me fondly of coats worn in the 1960s with long leather gloves.

I hope everyone had had a great weekend. Mine was amazing and quite a memorable one. Also, I’m sure most know by now that President George H. W. Bush had passed away. He was the first president that so remember seeing. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Bush family and their friends. From all accounts that I have heard, he truly was a great man, served his country well, and was devoted to his family. RIP 41.

Happy Wednesday, friends! I have to say, I am quite enamored with this dress and embellished coat from Julie Brown NYC. Both pieces provide effortless elegance and a classic sophistication. The sleeveless dress is made with a heavy quality fabric and it has pockets! The coat has three dazzling embellishments that look like broaches and stand out beautifully agsinst the navy background. My jaw dropped open when I saw the coat! The embellishments over the buttons make this coat stand out from the rest. Don’t put all of your summer accessories away just yet either! While mint may be thought of more so in the spring, it worked perfectly for this fall ensemble. I truly felt like Jackie Kennedy while wearing these pieces. They are absolutely breathtaking together!

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did some antiquing with my dad and also went to see The Spy Who Dumped Me and Crazy Rich Asians. Both were so good and funny! I’m a big fan of Sam Heughan from Outlander and wanted to see him in Spy. Swoon worthy as always! Believe the hype about Crazy Rich Asians too. I left the theater with a big smile on my face.

Its that time of year again where I start thinking about fall and slowly transitioning my wardrobe over for the crisp days ahead. Though the coolness isn’t quite there yet, I like to start incorporating deeper colors and richer fabrics. This dress from Julie Brown NYC is perfect for this time of the year with its deep forest green color and sleeveless style. It’s lightweight enough for warmer days, but the color and fabric have me thinking of fall. The beautiful mums set the mood perfectly too!

A Vibrant Match

Good morning and happy Tuesday, friends! I don’t know what it is, but I adore matching. I love matching my accessories to my outfit and I especially love matching my outfits to Ava’s. Those are my favorite! I was thrilled when Julie Brown NYC told me they were doing a matching collaboration with Dress For Cocktails. I could not wait to see what they had in store. The dress is so vibrant and stands out in a crowd. It also has pockets, which, let’s be honest, is one of the best features for a dress to have! I’m wearing a size 2, but I should have gone with the 0. The 2 felt a little loose. Now, the bags (tote and clutch) have a removable magnetic bow, which matches the print of the dress. There are also a few different colored bows available to mix and match. I told Ava the little matching clutch was hers to carry around and she loved it. She also really liked the removable bows. She was constantly switching them around. It’s a neat idea!

This dress is what you grab when you have little time to get ready, but still need to look fabulous. I absolutely love how timeless and elegant this dress is too. It’s perfect for wearing at the office and then to drinks afterwards. I accessorized mine with a leopard scarf and the cutest gingham bag that is under $30!

Good morning and happy Thursday!  While it may not technically be spring yet, I jump at any chance I have to throw on some spring pieces with the little warm ups we’ve been having. This navy linen dress from Julie Brown NYC features a lace up neckline and the ever popular bell sleeves with a little bit of ruffle to them. I immediately thought of  an ocean or lake getaway when I saw this dress. Oh what I wouldn’t give for a warm weather trip right now! I also envisioned pairing it with accessories for a nautical themed ensemble. I cannot wait to start wearing all of my straw and wicker bags again too. They’re my absolute go-to for spring and summer. This company makes some of the best and ones that I carried non-stop last year.

Hello all and happy Thursday! There’s nothing like a bright punchy color to completly brighten up a winter day and give you the biggest boost of happiness! This dress, with the most fabulous ruffles, does just that. It’s a part of Julie Brown NYC’s resort and spring collection. It’s made from a soft tweed fabric and runs true to size. I’m wearing a size 0. To keep with the spring feel, I went with a bag from VT Thai made from water hyacinth. The color is called Night Jasmine and adds another dose of bright color. This whole look has me so excited for spring! Especially after the snow storm we had the past two days. I’m over winter at this point, haha.

Happy Friday, everyone! I cannot even begin to tell you how elegantly glamorous this ensemble made me feel. This jacket is so dreamy and perfect for any holiday party or formal occasion. Even just a fancy night out on the town! It features three quarter sleeves and rhinestones on the chest. The satin material feels devine, but doesn’t add for much warmth. This black dress with faux fur around the neckline and wrists is the epitome of classically chic. It hugs my curves perfectly and is so comfy to wear! It’s understated, but the faux fur gives it an extra special touch.

I hope ole everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Adding some Sparkle...

Hello all and happy Tuesday! If you live in the North East, then you may have experienced some of the wild thunderstorms we've been having. Technically, I'm not complaining because they lowered the temperature a bit to a comfortable level. Now, we're suppose to have some pretty decent weather so hands up in the air for that! The weather literally controls so much of what we do so I'm constantly watching it, haha. I usually dress based on how the weather is or even last night, I was grilling some food outside and was watching the sky constantly in case the storm was suddenly going to start. I literally have a sweater on now as I'm writing this because it's so chilly outside (about 60 degrees!), which is funny since in the winter or spring, 60 degrees feels like a heat wave.

Anyway, enough about weather. One of my favorite easy glam looks for a night out on the town is a fun top with skinny jeans and heels. It's a go-to formula that never fails and is almost always comfortable to wear. This navy and white sequin top from Julie Brown NYC has a classic feel to it (navy and white is as classic as you can get) while also having a fun and youthful side with the sparkly sequins. I'm wearing a size P for reference. The top has a bit of swing to it and a layer underneath so the sequins will not scratch you. Leopard is one of my favorite prints to add onto to an outfit and acts almost like a neutral to me. It pairs so well with just about everything!

Colorful Windowpane Dress

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I recently wore this windowpane shift dress during a little heat wave we had (in the 90s!) and absolutely love its colorful eye catching print. I'm all about wearing some prints (hello stripes, plaid, polka dots, leopard, floral, and more) and love that this dress combines two different ones to make it pop. The rest of the outfit plays with the different colors in the dress. Several people stopped me on the street to ask about this dress. There's just something that makes it stand out from the crowd. Whether its the colors or the print, this dress is definitely a winner. I can't get enough of it!

Sunny Days Ahead // Neon Metallic Dress

Good morning, friends! The weather has finally taken a turn for the good and I am THRILLED haha. It's hard to believe that the past three days have been in the 80s. It felt like summer, which had me dreaming of all the fun summer events I have been planning. Ice cream dates, amusement park jaunts, nighttime strolls, picnics in the park, and so much more! With the sun shining and the warm temperatures climbing, I couldn't resist wearing this bright neon dress with metallic gold detailing. It screams summer time excitement! The dress alone is a statement piece so I kept the rest of the outfit very neutral. Straw accessories are always a go-to for me in the spring and summer. You can never go wrong with them!

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a fun July 4th yesterday! We celebrated with a great deal of pool time and a yummy cookout followed by some ice cream, lakes rides, and fireworks. Today I wanted to share one of my favorite dresses that I’ve been wearing non-stop lately. I typically pull it out when I have a special occasion and it does not disappoint! This sleeveless dress, in a sunshine tweed, falls above the knees with a v-neck and fringe details to add some fun texture to the look. The dress fits true to size. I always feel a level of sophistication and overall happiness when donning this tweed frock. There’s something about it that keeps me smiling all day long.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
