Feeling Fancy Friday

Tweed Dress c/o || Vintage Hat || Similar Bow Pumps || Similar Bag || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Earrings || Pink & Blue Co. Bracelet c/o ||

Good morning and happy Friday, everyone!  I always feel at my very best when I’m dressed in a ladylike ensemble. Anything that reminds me of the time period between 1940-1960 thrills me to no end. This tweed dress from Chicwish,  adorned with pearl buttons and trimmed with fringe, has a classic elegant aura about it that works seamlessly for events ranging from business chic to dining out with friends. The perfect topper to complete the look is a vintage hat that Ava fell in love with during the shoot. She ended up wearing it for the majority of the time. She does look pretty chic in it if I do say so myself!

Forest Green Dress

Forest Green Ruffle Dress c/o || Similar Yellow Sandals || Similar Leopard Clutch || Karen Walker Sunglasses || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Earrings, Necklace, Bracelet ||

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I did some antiquing with my dad and also went to see The Spy Who Dumped Me and Crazy Rich Asians. Both were so good and funny! I’m a big fan of Sam Heughan from Outlander and wanted to see him in Spy. Swoon worthy as always! Believe the hype about Crazy Rich Asians too. I left the theater with a big smile on my face.

Its that time of year again where I start thinking about fall and slowly transitioning my wardrobe over for the crisp days ahead. Though the coolness isn’t quite there yet, I like to start incorporating deeper colors and richer fabrics. This dress from Julie Brown NYC is perfect for this time of the year with its deep forest green color and sleeveless style. It’s lightweight enough for warmer days, but the color and fabric have me thinking of fall. The beautiful mums set the mood perfectly too!

Disneyesque

Blue Circle Dress c/o || Embellished Cardigan || Rebecca Minkoff Bag || LC Lauren Conrad Heels (Old, Similar) || Blush Hair Bow Tie || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Brier Ring || Stella & Dot Engraved Ring || DW Rose Gold Watch c/o ||

Good morning, friends! This outfit reminds me of a Disney movie and a I love every single bit of it. The blue circle dress at first made me think of Elsa from Frozen, which makes sense since there was a ton of snow and ice covering the ground. It also brings to mind Cinderella and even Belle from Beauty and the Beast. This dress has a mesh overlay with an intricate pattern on it also fits true to size. I’m wearing a small for reference. The dress hits right at my knees, making it the perfect length for parties or for conservative gatherings. Typically, on an everyday basis, this would be my ideal dress length. I’m also head over heels for this color combination! Light blue, blush, and a pop of sunshine yellow. It’s relaxing, happy, and uplifting all at the same time.

Snow Day

Good morning and happy new year! Snow pictures are my favorite to take. There’s something quite magical and enchanting about the new fallen snow. It makes a beautiful bright backdrop too. The only downside is the cold, haha. I could certainly do without that. Before you ask, yes, I have heels on in the snow. Nothing new for me, but I wanted to show how I would actually wear this outfit, say for Valentines Day, which is going to be here before you know it! It’s never too early to start planning. On the actual day I took these, it was snowing so  plan B called for some boots to walk through the inches of snow on the ground. In any case, this red dress was the perfect pop of color against the snow. I love the circle style too, hello twirling! This dress is on sale right now for $22. I’m wearing a size small an found it to fit true to size.

Cheers to 2018!
