Cranberry Jacket // Special Pieces

Cranberry Puffer Jacket || White Turtleneck || Similar Plaid Top || Madewell Skirt || Similar Leopard Loafers || Similar Dooney And Burke Bag (mine is passed down from my mom) || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring || Leopard Belt ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! Today’s look is all about some of my favorite fall colors and patterns mixed into one. It’s always fun mixing different prints together such as leopard and plaid. I’ve been loving this cranberry puffer jacket lately. The color is so rich and it’s the perfect weight for the in-between fall and winter temperatures. I typically would have gotten an XXS, but went with an XS so I could layer comfortably underneath it. The most special piece of this ensemble is my bag, which was my mother’s originally. She gave it to me a while ago, but once she passed I stopped taking it out for fear that something would happen to it. Lately, I’ve decided it was better to use it and remember her while carrying it with me.

Crazy For Camel

Camel Top Coat || Camel Sweater || White Skinny Jeans || Tory Burch Bag || Marc Fisher Camel Heels (So comfy, wore these walking around all day long) || Similar Pink Touch Technology Gloves, Long and Short || Freyrs Sunglasses c/o || Camel Circle Scarf || Humble Chic Earrings c/o || Karl Lagerfeld Watch c/o || Lip Color: Ava ||

One color I've been crushing on lately is camel. It pairs with literally anything and is the perfect neutral to wear throughout the year. It's a good color to buy some staple items in (think coats, bags, sweaters) seeing as how it never goes out of style and always feels classically cool. For instance, this camel topcoat, which I've been wearing non-stop (size XXS) is polished and a staple item to carry you through the fall and winter seasons. It works for a night out on the town, at the office, running weekend errands, basically anything you can think of. I initially was only going to pair white with camel for this look, but found these beautiful embellished touch technology gloves at a local boutique called BRASHhh in Rehoboth Beach and could not resist. The rosy blush color is another one of my favorites for the season!

Nautical in the City

Striped Sweater || H&M Sailor Shorts (bought in store) Similar || Sandals || Tory Burch Cross Body Bag || Karen Walker Sunnies || Humble Chic Olive Branch Earrings c/o || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band ||

Happy Tuesday! Just a quick post for today with some nautical flair, which as you know I'm a huge fan of! Nautical styles, next to romantic, are my favorite to wear. I just picked up these sailor shorts at an H&M store and love the high waisted style with the gold buttons. The sweater actually has matching gold buttons along the shoulder. Usually, I would have gone for a blue striped sweater, but I have so many of them and decided to branch out a bit with the orange. I like it!

I'm headed off to see Shinedown live in concert in about an hour! I cannot wait. They are my favorite band and one I've seen multiple times in concert. They always put on a fantastic show!

Happy Monday, all! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. We finally decorated our house for Christmas and decorated the tree while listening to Christmas carols and sipping on hot chocolate. It's always one of my favorite traditions during this time of the year.

Speaking of the holidays, this is a great festive look that sparkles and shines, while having a fun pop of color and a little bit magic all rolled into one. The pink gingham shirt from Humble Chic is a great layering piece to add some color (and warmth!) to an ensemble during the winter season. I wanted to pair it with this striped sequin shirt, which has a great thicker material, to give it some color and make the outfit have a little bit of pop. The sequins and silver metallic shoes definitely feel very festive to me along with the tulle providing that little bit of whimsical magic. How about this pearl ear cuff too?! Talk about a beautiful conversation starter. I've never tried an ear cuff before, and I did have a bit of trouble getting it onto my ear, but once I did, I was amazed at how unique it looked.
