Hello, friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I rented the new Wonder Woman movie and absolutely loved it! I have to say this movie did the character justice. To be honest, I never really followed the comic too closely or even the television show with Lynda Carter, but I’ve been researching the character and getting more into her. This movie with Gal Gadot definitely made me into a fan! If you haven’t seen it, or were on the fence about it, I would recommend seeing it for sure. The new Justice League movie came out this weekend with Wonder Woman in it so it’ll all tie in nicely together.

This sweater from Woolrich is one of my star fall pieces in my closet. I’ve had this forever and it’s stood the test of time. I pull it out every fall and work it into as many different outfits as I can. The burnt orange color is stunning along with the subtle mustard and green colors throughout. I paired this with a burgundy turtleneck, which blends in seamlessly, and my trusty Melie Bianco bag that I have literally been carrying with me everywhere. You’ve definitely seen it in many posts! It’s another fall piece that has been a stand by and one that I treasure.

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!  Is anyone else hating how it gets dark so early now? I’m definitely missing those extra hours of sunlight. We also had a blast of cold weather, which meant lots of hot vanilla latte’s and also Peppermint Mocha’s from Starbucks! Once the holiday season starts I always end up getting Peppermint Mocha’s. They’re refreshing and chocolaty at the same time. Yum! The Cranberry Bliss Bar from Starbucks is another favorite. Seriously, it is amazingly good.

This was one of my favorite recent outfits because of all the creamy tan neutrals. I’m a big fan of Woolrich, especially their coats, and love how they originated in Pennsylvania. I believe their PA factory still makes their famous wool blankets, but the rest of manufacturing has since moved over seas. This plaid jacket I picked up at their outlet store in Woolrich, PA. Yep, they have a town named after them! This sweater is soooo comfy and actually has a fleecey material inside. It keeps me warm and toasty. I couldn’t find it online, but I got this one at the J.Crew Factory store. My store still has them in stock and there is a HUGE sale going on right now!

Hello all and happy Wednesday! The leaves are starting to change into their beautiful radiant colors here in Pennsylvania. I was lucky enough to find this road that had some pretty yellows starting to pop. It was a cool crisp day, perfect for some layering! One of my favorite ways to layer is a turtleneck underneath a sweater topped off with a jacket. With this outfit I went with two neutrals and a plaid jacket to give the outfit some color and interest. Plaid will always be such a classic. I always think of Woolrich or Pendleton when thinking of plaid. They have some of the best!

Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope everyone had a fun weekend and if you watched the Super Bowl, that you enjoyed the game. I didn't really see any outstanding commercials this year, but the last half of the game was pretty exciting to watch! How about it being the first time ever in Super Bowl history that the game went into overtime too?! I'm a sucker for little historical facts like that. They get me every time haha.

I'm not going to lie, it was absolutely freezing outside the day I wore this outfit. I honestly should have had gloves on because my hands felt like icicles. Plaid is one of those patterns I'm guessing everyone has at least one item of in their wardrobe. It's a classic and has become a staple to wear in the fall and winter months. It's also a pattern that mixes well with others, say leopard, polka dots, or itself as I have above. I love how vibrant the pop of yellow is against the backdrop of blue, black, and white. It brightens up the whole look and stands out from the crowd. Over the knee boots are a lifesaver in the colder temps too. My legs definitely thanked me for having them on! Not only that, but they create a sleek and streamlined appearance making your legs look longer than they actually are. Win win for us shorter gals!
