Enchanted Floral Dreams

There’s nothing dreamier to me than a gorgeous sunset with soft beautiful light filtering through. Add some floral blooms and you have one enchanting evening. This was a look I put together for one of the warmer days we had and I might add, one of my favorite looks to date. The sunshine absolutely enlivened my senses and brought a sense of happiness along with the promise of spring soon to come. Along with the weather, this dress put the biggest smile on my face. It’s pretty pleats and darling bow  neck tie add to its feminine beauty. Not to mention the stunning print! Right after shooting these photos, I went to a local church dinner with my dad and received so many lovely compliments on the dress. It was a wonderful evening filled with good food, good company, and an ensemble that has so much springtime charm.

Air turning crisp, leaves falling, apple picking, pumpkin carving, golden sun setting, hay riding, cozy cuddling, fashion layering, pie baking, candles flickering, sweater wearing, food comforting, trick or treating. Hello October.

I can’t help but to be mad for plaid now that autumn is in full swing. This ladylike midi shirt dress has a gorgeous deep forest green color and major retro vibes. Some other current plaid dress favorites are this fit and flare dress, this plaid tweed shirt dress, this silk a-line dress, this button front dress, this ruffle sheath dress, this faux wrap dress, and this tie neck fit and flare dress. 

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Ours was JAM packed and tons of fun! I always find from this point until the end of the year to be the busiest. Our calendar is completely filled already! One of the highlights from this past weekend was going to the Bloomsburg fair. It was truly a treat to go. The weather ended up being spectacular, even a bit too warm, and tons of people despite it being the last day.

Mommy And Me // Monogrammed Pink Roll Neck Sweater

Good morning and happy Monday! I'm so excited to finally be able to share this post! As you know, any post that has Ava in it is very special to me, including this dreamy sunset with our mommy and me outfits. I absolutely adore matching with my mini! Ava’s sweater from Monogram Mary was the inspiration for our outfits. It’s a beautifully made roll neck sweater with a turtle motif and Ava’s initials inside. I was blown away by the quality of the piece and also how cute Ava looks in it! It’s the perfect weight for a cool summer night too. You can chose from a variety of motifs, thread colors, monogram styles, and different fonts. We kept our look casual with the pink sweaters. some jean shorts, and pink sandals. I really love the third picture of Ava here. She looks like a little model! It truly was a magical night with the gorgeous sunset and fun we had while capturing these precious moments.

Sunset Memories

 Good morning everyone and welcome to Monday! One of the things we love to do while on the cape is to catch some breathtaking sunsets and trust me, they never disappoint! There are a few spots to watch the sun setting over the bay, but one of the highest rated is Skaket Beach in Orleans. This is a great family beach too. It’s never overcrowded, very clean, has warm bay water, and of course has the amazing view of the sunset. This was our first time trying out the beach and we were very impressed! This was actually one of our busiest days and it was very relaxing and memorable to end it with the beautiful golden glow. I wore this blue crochet dress for our day out and love it’s gorgeous details! I’ll tell you, Chicwish never disappoints with that. It has a full crochet finish with eyelet details, a scrolled hem, and is pleated at the waist. I’m wearing an XS for reference. 

Stay tuned tomorrow for some matching with Ava! There were a few outfits I had planned out where Ava and I would match. I’m also getting our family photos from the trip ready to go as well. Looking back on them gives me the biggest smile and fills my heart with happiness. Until then, have a great Monday!

Dreamy Rooftop Views

A very happy good morning to everyone! Though I currently live and grew up in the country, there’s nothing I find more thrilling than gazing upon a city to watch the hustle and bustle below. Oh the excitement! The sounds of city life alone feed my soul. This particular rooftop is a favorite of mine with views of two famous buildings, the Capitol and Washington Monument. It’s a fantastic spot to bask in the golden glow of a sunset too. As soon as I arrived in the city, I made my way to roof to catch the last of this beautiful sunset and to take it all in. This gingham dress with a ruffle neck and cuffs felt wonderful on. It’s a charming little number! Truly a versatile piece that could be worn on a picnic, to an amusement park, or strolling down the avenue while window shopping. I’m wearing a small and it fit perfectly.
