I adore wearing fabrics that are especially feminine such as lace. There's something that feels quite special about donning the pretty fabric. I wanted this look to have softer colors to exude loveliness and romance. The lace crop top has a floral leaf pattern on it with a three quarter sleeve and cuts above the belly button. I do wish it were just a tad longer, but can simply pair it with higher a higher waisted skirt or shorts. I'm wearing an XS for reference. The white feels crisp and fresh for summer. I can't seem to get enough of it! The olive leaf bangle and earring set are darling for everyday use. I love how the earrings aren't tiny studs, but rather are a bit longer than your regular dainty items.

Pink and Black Lace

Pink and Black Lace- Enchanting Elegance

Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I hope everyone is staying warm! It turned bitter cold here in North Eastern PA yesterday. We even had a sleet storm so I guess the winter weather is truly coming to stay. Counting down the days until Spring haha!

I wanted to take some time to talk about something that quickly became very important to me recently and that is body image. First, I never seem to buy pretty lingerie for myself. I always get the practical stuff. I've been wanting to invest in some beautiful pieces like this pink lace set that will not break the bank. The detail and quality of the pieces are fantastic! The back detailing is what really got me. Originally $49.95, the VIP price is $39.95 and if it's your first time ordering, there is a special $24.95 offer. You cannot beat the under $25 price for a comfortable and complimenting set like this.  I have to say I feel sexy in these and after having a baby, it is pretty darn important to get that sexy back.

I felt this post would be a good one to talk about body images and how we should all feel amazing about who we are. No body shaming allowed! Lauren Conrad recently said that no body shaming words would be allowed on her website. How amazing is that?! Truth be told, I've always felt good about the skin I'm in and have never felt bad with how I looked. Without going into too many details, I was at the end of some body shamming about my boobs, which made me feel so insecure about how they looked. Even worse, it was while I was still breastfeeding, so yes, they looked a bit different depending on what time of day it was. I loved the fact that I was able to provide my little girl with the nutrition she needed. On a side note, I'm still completely amazed by the fact that I created and grew this little human being inside of me. The rude comments were on instagram, and I do understand that these pictures are public, but making fun of a persons body is crossing a line in my book. If you do not like something I'm wearing, that's different. To attack someone about their physical body seems so wrong though. People did come to my defense about recently having a baby and how that changes your body and so on. To those people, thank you! It's important to have these discussions and not let haters bring you down. While my body may look a bit different after giving birth, I'm still completely in awe of it and love every little detail. If anyone ever dealt or is dealing with this, you can always e-mail me at enchantingelegancephotos@gmail.com. Thanks for reading!

Happy September! I cannot believe that August is actually over and we are finally into the transition season between summer and fall. September happens to be one of my favorite months right behind May. My parents and my own wedding anniversary are in September and only two days apart from one another. The weather usually starts to cool down a bit, the air feels crisp and clean, cozy sweaters start to come out and the spicy sweet scents like pumpkin and cinnamon start to fill the air. Are you excited yet?!

Until the weathers starts to get really cool, the transition season allows for some simple layering with your summer dresses and fall jackets. I love this white lace dress paired with a denim jacket. The white lace is so feminine while the jean jacket toughens up the look a bit, not to mention adds some much needed warmth for those cool nights. Add a pop of red and some leopard and the look instantly feels more autumn like. I've been craving all things red and leopard lately, my must have's for fall!

Is it really Wednesday already? I'm personally excited to see the days fly by since I have a small weekend trip coming up at the end of June. My dad and I always have a little family vacation and wanted to squeeze one in before Ava  arrives. We'll see how I do on the 6 hour car ride though! It'll be worth it since I'm going to Cape Cod, my little slice of heaven. Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather holds out! It's been an constant battle with the weather in NEPA going from down pours one minute, to sunshine, then back to cloudy the next. Hope fully it turns around soon and we can have some abundant sunshine!

Today I'm feeling blue, but in a good way! Pairing this triple thread lacy top with an exact color match skirt makes it appear to be a dress almost. To give it some shape, I cinched, above my baby bump, a nice floral belt that has some good stretch to it. This maxi skirt is perfect for petites, myself included, and non petites alike. A hi-low hem fixes the overwhelming volume and makes for a beautiful silhouette.

Spring Trends

2015

Sure, some of us are still in the dead of Winter (me included), but why not start thinking about the beautiful Spring season that awaits? Spring trends have already started popping up and I have been searching around for some nice additions to my wardrobe. Spring has always been my favorite season to buy for. There's something about the fresh renewal and bloom going on all round you that makes life feel good. Then again, it could be the sunshine and warmer weather too! Below are some of the top trends for Spring 2015.

Pleats:

Pleats always seem to be in style no matter what year or season it is. It's a style I simply adore and have plenty of in my closet. Pleats feel so feminine to flutter around in.

Blush and Lace:

blush

It's no secret how much I love blush colored outfits, especially ones made out of lace. The romantic quality of lace really has it as a year round fabric, but especially for Spring with its delicate and feminine nature. Equally so, blush seems to be a color worn more throughout the year where as once it was only seen in Spring. Basically put, you can never go wrong with this pale pink color.

A Vivid Trench:

cherry blossoms and green trench

There's nothing like breaking out of the winter doldrums with a bright colored coat to liven up the Spring season ahead. The trench is the perfect Spring accessory by being light enough for the warmer afternoons, but still just enough to keep you warm when the temperatures dip in the morning and evening hours.

Ice Blue:

ice blue

Blue has always been a favorite color of mine and this Spring its icy hue is taking center stage. Pair with with some silver metallic accessory's to keep with the cool feeling.

Nothing says femininity like delicate lace. When I saw this dress during my visit to Valley Forge, I thought how much I liked the midi length and the long sleeves for the chilly winter weather. Add in the lace and floral pattern and you have one knock out of a dress. I wanted to stick with the green/teal color to create a monochromatic look and chose suede heels, a vintage beaded clutch, and replica emerald jewelry of Jackie Kennedy's. I tend to lean toward suede heels in the winter because of the heavier fabric and how it feels dressier. This teal dress from H&M is sold out in this color, but still available in a creamy nude. I also adore how little skin this dress shows, but still flatters my figure in its shift form.

Lace and Leopard Oh My

Day to Night with Simple Swaps

day to night blazer

As noted before, my love for leopard prints only intensifies once the fall and winter months start to approach. This outfit comprises of simple, classic, and timeless pieces that when put together look effortless. The base is a lovely cream sweater and leopard print skirt. For daytime I chose a lace bomber jacket and flats for running around town doing errands. Once night approaches, swap out the lace bomber for a black blazer and heels. I stuck with leopard heels and really fancied this hi-low blazer (higher cut in the back, longer in the front) since it balances out my petite frame. The jewelry, a tortoise shell watch, long diamond pendant, and crystal stone earrings stayed the same for both outfits. It just goes to show how a simple swap, here being the jacket and shoes, updates a classic outfit from day to night.

Simple Weekend Outfit

This is the kind of summery weekend outfit that I love. It's simply, chic, and effortless. The basic peach tee is spruced up with a lace sleeve from Charming Charlies. The adorable green skirt from Modcloth comes with pink and blue Hydrangea details and feels feminine. The color blocked heels from DSW, still a trend going strong, mix perfectly into the outfit with colors of purple, yellow, and pink. This outfit is great in either Spring or Summer and has that flirty fun feeling to it.

Blush in Bloom

Lovely Lace

Recently I've been getting into vintage hats. I adore the delicate pink flowers on this one. It feels so feminine and fresh for Spring and Summer. To compliment the look I chose a blush lace dress with a vintage beaded clutch from my grandmother. The beading has little pink flowers on it. The broach is also vintage with pink rhinestones and a gold finish. I wanted the shoes to be more modern with the height and decided on a pair of nude color ones so they would blend in with the outfit. Notice the tips of the heels have little rhinestones on them. I wore this outfit to my friends baby shower since she is having a little girl, I can't wait to meet you little Madison!, and also, this would be perfect for a lunch date with friends or for some afternoon tea.
