If there was one handbag that I have always set my sights on, it would be a Chanel. I've dreamed of owning my own for as long as I can remember. Simply saying the name Chanel brings to mind class and elegance. I could never afford a new Chanel bag, or most high end designers for that matter, but a used one in mint condition? Now that is all together possible! Trendlee is an online destination where you can buy or sell pre-owned designer luxury handbags at a fraction of the cost. I never would have been able to tell the bag I had was pre-owned. Only items that are in excellent to very good condition are sold. Also, authenticity is taken very seriously and guaranteed. I'm completely in love with the silver and bright blue combination of the bag I'm wearing. While a large investment, designer handbags are a timeless piece of any wardrobe that can be passed down for generations to come.

I've been smitten with little white dresses lately. Every time spring and summer rolls around, I always start to gravitate towards them. The crisp fresh feeling they evoke has me head over heels! Adding in a pop of color keeps the look youthful and fun.

I always love posts where I get to include Ava in them. She's quite the little rug rat now so getting photos of her is a bit more difficult haha. As soon as I opened the Kub Klub box for Ava, she immediately went over to explore what goodies were inside. She was so excited! She actually grabbed the stevia sweetened face wipes first and wanted to bite on those for a while. Kids are so funny sometimes. I could buy her an expensive toy and she'll end up wanting to play with a shoe box lol. What I love about Kub Klub is that they take the worriment out of "is this safe for my baby?" by searching for the highest quality baby gear around. Possible selections for each month are baby's first books, age-appropriate toys, teethers and pacifiers, mealtime accessories, healthy snacks, sippy cups and bottles, safe soaps and sanitizes. Included in this months box was:

  • The Jungle Book
  • Feltman + Co Teether
  • Little Grippers (socks)
  • Hevea- Natural Star Ball
  • Neat Cheaks (face wipes)

The first step is to join with either a 1,3,6, or 12 month plan with goodies tailored to the baby's age. These are great gifts for baby showers or to have as a little excitement each month for your little one. The boxes are then shipped on the 10th of every month and shipping is free. Always a plus for me! I love seeing Ava's face light up when she sees something new. I cannot wait to keep giving her that light each month with Kub Klub.

AMI Clubwear Tropical Romper c/o || AMI Clubwear Heels c/o || Sosie turquoise Bucket Bag c/o || Rumba Time Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Bracelet ||  Lip Color ||

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. It always feels as if the weekend goes by in a blur of activity. I spent mine writing out thank you cards (so many!), having a meet and greet with some old time New York Yankee players, and taking a Sunday stroll with my dad and Ava to see the cherry blossoms that have finally bloomed in our area. They're absolutely beautiful.

One thing I love about rompers is that they're an outfit all in one! Very similar to a dress, but with shorts instead. This vibrant tropical print has me thinking of all things beach and summer related. Not to mention the material is silky and incredibly soft. The shoes and bag play off of the bright colors found in the romper. Can we take a moment to admire these heels too?! The color blocking trend started a few years back and has been going strong ever since. Done right, it can look very chic and put together. The colors used in these heels are some of my favorite and so easy to pair with different ensembles. For $9.99, they are a clear winner. I also walked around one of the local parks in these and found them to be pretty comfortable. No blistering at all! I'm also loving the little gold tassel detail on the turquoise bucket bag. This bag is another great use of "pop of color." With this outfit, I wanted everything to be vibrant and colorful. Think if you were wearing an all white or all black ensemble and then added in this bag. Its a great way to break up an outfit and has so much space inside.

Happy Friday, friends! A few days ago, I got to take Ava for a picnic at our local park to enjoy an afternoon out together. The weather could not have been more splendid. I packed all kinds of goodies that would be tasty for snacking/lunch time. There were berries, brie, crackers, a salad, macarons, and some wine. Ava even had her little lunch of formula too! She was asleep when we first got there, so I let her nap in the stroller while I set up with this gorgeous pink polka dot throw. It is seriously one of the softest blankets I've ever felt. Plus, its reversible making it like getting two throws for one. The cute fringe on the ends, along with the dot patter, puts such a big smile on my face. This was not planned, but did you see Ava's sun hat? It matches the blanket!

When I first saw this gingham top and short set, I thought wouldn't they look great together on a picnic!? I've been totally smitten with gingham lately, too. As I mentioned before, the print has that summery feeling and what is more summery than a fun filled picnic on a warm afternoon. What I love about a matching set is that I can wear each piece separately to create so many different outfits! The top is slightly cropped and has a boxy look to it. The shorts  are high waisted and super comfortable. They even have a retro vibe to them, which is right up my ally ;)

Gingham is one of those prints that instantly brings to mind spring and summer. Memories of sunshine filled days spent outside enjoying life. This past weekend I got to make some new memories while wearing this black and white gingham dress, which was perfect for the occasion. My dad, Ava, Caitlin, and I all went to the Poconos for breakfast, antiquing, stopped for some ice cream, took a side trip to see a lake, and arrived home just in time for dinner. We had a great time.

The one worker at the antique store said he loved my vintage themed outfit and how perfect it was for the spring weather. For under $30, the quality of the fabric is great and has a fun filled and fancy free feeling to it. I'm already planning all of the different ways I'll be wearing this dress all summer ranging from tan accessories like I have here, to pops of red, or even all black. This dress is a maxi style, which worried me because of my height (i'm 5'2) but I added some wedges and had no problem at all, plus they are super comfy! I'm also wearing a size XS and found it to be a little bit tight. I probably could have gone with a small and had a bit more breathing room.

The diamond stud earrings and star necklace are both delicately sweet and add a subtle amount of shine to your everyday wear.

I hope everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather! I take Ava and my dad's dog Belle out everyday. I feel like we've all been waiting so long and now we have to soak up every ounce of it.

Happy Monday, friends. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. We were blessed with some amazingly beautiful weather and I made sure to spend as much of it outside as we possibly could. There were many walks, ice cream dates, drives to enjoy scenery, antiquing, and to finish it off a lovely bbq where we dined al fresco as the sun set.

There is something so incredibly romantic about white lace. It's hard not to feel lovely and feminine in it. The details of this dress definitely make it a knock out choice. The floral patterned lace with a lattice trim make this a swoon worthy option. I'm already planning the multiple places I'll be wearing it! I've been sporting these white criss cross heels non-stop lately too. They're my go-to choice for basically everything I've been wearing. They pair so well with an endless variety of outfits and no doubt will be in constant rotation for the spring and summer.

Happy Friday, everyone. We're supposed to be having some pretty amazing weather this weekend which means I'll be outdoors for most of it. Perhaps even a picnic may be in order. I have such fond memories of picnics with my family growing up and I hope to give Ava some of those same memories as she grows up. I cannot wait. Bring on the warm weather!

There is nothing more classic American than the white t-shirt and jeans outfit. A fun twist on the look is adding a customized pocket to the tee for some added cool factor. I chose the pineapples and sail boats for mine. Both represent summer to me, which I am patiently waiting to get here! I've worn these so many times already while running around getting errands done. They're so easy to throw on, head out the door, and know you have a unique and timeless look. The fabric is nice a thick too. I've never been a fan of sheer white tees so these were right up my alley.

Humble Chic Shirt Dress c/o || Shein Sequin Blazer c/o || Pink Lace Up Heels || Gold Bag || Polette Sunnies c/o || Humble Chic Clover Necklace c/o || Humble Chic Statement Earrings c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unit Band ||

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for their incredible support, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time. I've received so many kind messages and they truly are a bright spot in my day. Ava and I are getting by, taking it one day at a time. She's been busy growing and becoming quite the little rugrat too. Staying busy helps get through each day. The weather has turned around finally and I've been getting out with Ava as much as I can. She really enjoys being outside. It feels good to be out with her and getting some sunshine and fresh air.

I really love this combo and think it looks so chic for a date night out with your significant other or girl friends. The black shirt dress is easy to style and comfortable to wear. On its own, its a simple little dress, but with a pop of color and a jazzy blazer, it instantly transforms into a knockout ensemble. The pearl clover necklace could be your lucky charm! Its delicate enough for everyday wear and shines brightly against the black dress.

I hope everyone has been doing well. I look forward to re-connecting with everyone and again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the outpouring of love.

Justin Jon Brezovsky

To all of my friends, family and collaborators who read this blog,

I am not even sure where to begin. My heart has absolutely broken into 1 million pieces and will never be the same again. Thursday morning, I found my husband Justin, who had passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. I am still in a state of shock and complete sorrow. My mind cannot even process that this has happened. I feel the worst for Ava, who will now never know her father. She will only know him through the photos, videos, and stories that we have of Justin. Thank you to everyone who has sent their kind wishes and prayers. I appreciate every single one of them. These past few days have been difficult thinking back on all of the wonderful memories and adventures we had been on together in this life. We were recently planning our spring and summer out and to think those plans will never happen now is heartbreaking. I lost my best friend and the love of my life and someone who I was supposed to grow old together with and raise our family.

Justin's Obituary Article

I do not plan on posting here for this week and possibly the next.

The photos above are some of my favorite recent ones. The first two were taken at the end of February on my iPhone. The weather was beautiful and we decided to all go for a walk and then some lunch afterwards. It was a great day and I think those photos reflect that. The next two were taken two weeks after Ava was born for our first family photo shoot together. The last one Justin had asked me to take of him so he would have a professional photo of himself. We actually took it in the living room after we had done the pregnancy announcement photos. It turned out nice and he was so appreciative of it.

Justin specifically asked me to take this photo of him and Ava at the beginning of March this year. I got her all dressed up in her outfit that said Daddy's girl and I could not wait for Justin to see her. His eyes would light up every time he saw Ava and hers would light up whenever she saw Justin. He has only ever asked me to specifically take a few photos of him and this was one of them.

This is an oldie but goodie. It was our first date back in December of 2006 at the Holiday at Hayfield dance. We met each other at Penn State Wilkes-Barre right around Christmas time. It was the perfect first date with the holiday season. We look so different. I remember how nervous I was too. We actually got married in the same room where this dance happened. We thought it would be neat to have it come full circle from our first date to our wedding day.

I hadn't looked at our wedding photos in a while, but when I was starting to gather photos for the viewing, I saw this one and thought how happy we both looked. This was at the reception.

Lastly, a photo from our Honeymoon in Disney World. It's one of my favorite photos of Justin and I together.

Happy Thursday, loves! It's almost the weekend and boy is my plate going to be full! Not only is it Easter weekend, but my dad's birthday also falls on Easter day this year. I've been busy planning out Sunday, making sure to include both festivities into the day.  Does anyone else have any plans for the holiday?

Speaking of this weekend, I'm wearing here what I consider to be my weekend wardrobe staples. A chic button down (extra points for chambray!), skinny jeans, and a pair of heels. I'm crushing on this chambray shirt because of how soft it is and the pretty pearlized buttons. It's those little details that count. It's great for being able to throw on and run out the door or even to dress up with a skirt. I can envision this top with a bright pop of color skirt or even a white one for spring. The possibilities are endless, which is one of the top reasons I'll buy an item. If I can envision myself wearing the item a few different ways and with different items in my closet, then I'm 100% more likely to buy it haha. The accessories make this outfit feel fun with a pop of color from the bag and blue sorbet earrings, to the on trend tassel necklace in a beautiful creamy shade of ivory.

I've always been such a fan of lace. It's completely feminine and delicate. This dress is so stunning with a high-low hem and cinched in waist. The pictures do not do it justice! An intricate leaf design weaves its way through the lace making for a beautiful pattern. Whenever I wear black and white ensembles, I always feel very Parisian. When I saw these sunnies from Polette, I knew I had to have them. I actually needed a new black pair and love how they're outlined in white. The best part? They're only $16.99! They're able to keep the cost down by creating their own lenses, prescription frames for sunnies and everyday glasses are available too, and ship them directly to the customer. The shipping takes about 2 weeks since they're located in France and now looking to expand all over the world. Mine are prescription free since I wear contacts. I do wish the frames were a bit darker, but I love how big they are haha. I'm a fan of bigger sunnies and like how these sit on my face.

I'll also be giving away a pair of their sunglasses or glasses on instagram so make sure to check that out!

On a little side note, I took this photo of Ava and I when I was done photographing the outfit. I thought it would be cute to show you where she always is when I'm out getting outfit shots. We usually take a walk afterwards as long as the weather is nice, i.e. not snowing ;) Regardless of what I'm wearing, we'll take a walk for as long as she's ok. Sometimes, she starts to get fussy, but usually we're able to get one in. Remember the blush formal dress from yesterday? We even did a walk in that haha. I love being able to have her by my side. She's like my little side kick blog buddy <3

Happy Tuesday and happy spring!! I'm so excited for the beautiful blossoms and warm weather to start arriving. Yesterday, we actually had some snow flurries and my heart instantly sank. No more snow haha!

This dress is pure formal elegance. I felt very first ladylike while wearing it! It's a very soft shade of blush with a navy tie at the wasit to break it up. I particularly love the ruching along the side. It's a beautiful detail to add to a simple and sophisticated look. The dress is modest and alluring all at the same time, which makes it a winner in my book!

I'm wearing the custom trays here. You can barely notice them!

Smile Brilliant- Enchanting Elegance

One of the first things people always notice about you is your smile. I love having a clean bright smile and the confidence behind it. I've tried other whitening strips in the past and was always happy with their results, but I wanted to try something a bit more professional without having to sit in a dentists chair and pay the dentist fee. Enter Smile Brilliant. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy their professional home whitening process was, especially with the results. My husband also offered to try their product and could definitely see a result with his use.

For starters, Smile Brilliant sends impression material (the blue and white putty)  to use for creating the trays. After mixing the blue and white putty together, next add the putty into the two blue trays. Bite down for about 2 minutes to create the impression. Leave it dry overnight and then package it up in the pre-paid envelope and send the material back to Smile Brilliant. Side note, I actually used to work for a dental supply company and was fairly familiar with the material, but I had never used it myself so this was fun for me haha. In 1-2 weeks, a custom top and bottom tray will be sent back to you to get started on your teeth whitening experience. There is a teeth whitening gel (green tube) and a desensitizing gel (purple tube) to be used afterwards. I used my whitening gel every night for about 3 weeks. I would leave the trays in for an hour and then use the desensitizing gel for 10-15 minutes after. Justin used his every other night for 1 month. He would leave his in for 1/2 hour and then 10-15 minutes of the desensitizing gel after.  The whitening gel actually opens up the pores of the teeth, which can leave the teeth pretty sensitive so its important to use the desensitizing gel. Neither of us had any trouble with sensitivity while using the product.

As you can see in the before and after photos, I think Justin had the biggest transformation so to say. I can definitely see the difference. My teeth were pretty white to begin with and I can notice a slight whiter appearance to them. I really loved the custom trays and how perfectly they fit. One thing I hated about whitening strips is how they would fall off sometimes. With the custom trays, that never happens and you know the gel is being evenly distributed to each tooth.

Here's a video to help explain the process as well:

Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a fun St. Patrick's day. The weather was horrible in my neck of the woods with multiple thunder storms, but once they stopped, Ava and I did manage to make it out for a walk before the temps drop this weekend. If you saw my post on Instagram two nights ago about how I only got 3 1/2 hours of sleep because I could not put a book down, it was because of this book: Hollywood Dirt. I already finished it and have to say it was one of my favorite recent reads. I tend to devour books in one or two sittings. Has anyone else ever started a book and simply could not put it down?! I cannot be the only one haha.

This past weekend felt like summer had arrived. I immediately went to put on this beautiful off the shoulder crochet top from The Mint Julep Boutique. The detailing is really what drew me in plus the pretty feminine flair. Off the shoulder tops are a trend that is still going strong too. The colors I always associate with spring and summer are white with pops of color. White has a fresh and clean feeling while the pops of color jazz up the outfit. I've been wearing this fuchsia bag everywhere lately. It fits all of my essentials without being bulky and hits right where I want a cross body to. How cute are the duster earrings too?! I love the blush color. It's the perfect statement earrings for an off the shoulder top.

One trend that springs up this time of year (no pun intended ) are floral prints. I love the pretty pink and red rose print and how flowy this dress is! The little collar is darling too. The pleats and flouncyadd a nice touch of whimsy. I went for all bright pink accessories to have a very feminine flair. I really love monochromatic type looks actually. There's something very fun about them! Dresses like this always have a classy feel and can be worn just about anywhere from brunch out with the girls, to date night, or even to church. It really is very versatile.

I wore this out while Justin and I were in Jim Thorpe for the day. I had an oral surgeonconsultation appointment nearby and we decided to head there afterwards. It was the perfect day to just browse around the little shops, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy some latte's while strolling up and down the charming streets.

I've actually been wanting a pair like these since I only have the ear bud style, which end up hurting after a while. These are comfortable and stylish to boot! The blue fields iPhone case is seriously cute. As I mentioned in this post, I love how it's clear and allows the gold from the back of my phone to show though. The blue and gold combo is stunning! Happy Monday, friends! It's that time of year when guys and dolls start thinking about what to wear to their spring formal or prom. Planning for my own prom was stressful enough and I made sure to have enough time to get all of the details figured out. What style of dress did I want? What color and length? How did I want my hair to look? What type of shoes should I wear? This was the one night I would be able to get all dressed up and feel like a princess heading to a ball. I remember how excited and nervous I was at the same time. I had a blast dancing with my date and some of my friends, while also snapping some photos to capture the memories. It is funny to look back at the photos though haha. I was blown away at how different I look and how much my style has changed. Unfortunately, I do not have a full length photo of the dress. I do have one somewhere in an album at my parents house, but not one saved on my hard drive. It was actually my favorite part because of how flowy it was. Make sure to check out some throwback photos below!

If I could do it all over again, I would definitely wear this dress.  The detailing is exquisite and the full tulle skirt is the stuff that dreams are made of (extra points if you can tell me what movie that line is from!) The top has a soft blush hue with pink sequins and a sexy little cut out hole in the back. That's another reason why I'm so in love with this dress. It's modest, yet has an alluring back and some of the most beautiful detailing I've seen. No lie when I say that this is one of my most favorite dresses that I own. I wanted to wear my hair up for this look because of the back, but usually for every dance I would leave my hair down and curled.

Happy Friday, loves! The temperature these past couple of days has been in the 70s, which feels absolutely incredible. As soon as the weather starts getting warmer, I pull out all of my dresses and start dreaming of all the ways I'll be able to wear them. This dress from Unique Vintage has the prettiest floral pattern and the perfect billowing skirt. I'm wearing an xs for reference. I adore the vintage styling and the fact that it has pockets! Another great feature, the side boning is flexible, which allowes me to actually be able to breathe haha. I've never seen that in a dress before and now I totally believe they should all have it. Removable straps are included if you do not like the strapless look. Vintage dresses are actually a favorite of mine since the 1950s is where I draw so much of my inspiration from. I cannot help but swoon every time I put one on. This dress has all of my vintage fashion fantasies coming true!

Can we also take a second to look at the pretty accessories?! I'm a big believer in the details adding up to make the outfit. These stud earrings will literally glam up any outfit your pair them with while still having a classic feel behind them. The crystal necklace is a pink lovers dream. It's beautifully crafted and oh my, the sparkle makes me weak in the knees! My mom gave me a similar necklace, with a smaller pendant, to wear for my senior prom so I could not help but reminisce about that while wearing this. Lastly, the cuff bracelet with a marbled blue stone and clear crystal gives has those summer time vibes. I can definitely see myself wearing this all summer long!
