Happy Monday, all! This past weekend was a whirlwind of getting some Christmas shopping done, Christmas errands run, a work Christmas party, having family in, and Ava's baptism with a small party afterwards. It felt great to get so many items checked off of my list, be able to visit with loved ones, and to celebrate Ava's big day.

Now that all of the hustle and bustle is over I can get back to my normal routine, which includes a cup of hot chocolate in the morning during this time of the year. I literally crave it in the winter and especially during the holiday season. I like to wake up every morning, make myself a cup, and catch up on all of my social media. How adorable is this Meow Is The Time mug?! Perfect for anyone who adores of has a cuddly cat. Even Chelsea had to check out this cute little mug from A Cup of Quotes. It's hard not to think of the holidays right now. Even when I'm hanging around the house, I still get dressed up as if I'm going to a holiday event. One thing I love about this outfit is the simplicity of it, yet it looks completely put together and effortlessly chic! A simple black tank with an unexpected white blazer and some pops of red have a flawless and retro feel.

Cyber Monday 2015

Cyber Monday 2015- Enchanting Elegance

Happy Cyber Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. If you were not celebrating Thanksgiving, then I hope you had an amazing weekend! My dad and I took Ava down to see the annual tree lighting in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We lucked out with the weather. It was in the mid 60s during the day and low 50s at night. I could not have been happier about that haha! We enjoyed walking around town and stopping in the stores to browse about with our coffee and latte's in hand. We even got down to the beach to walk and search for some sea shells. The tree lighting was magical with the whole town decorated in twinkling lights while carolers sang the traditional Christmas tunes. I can't wait to share some pictures from it!

Now, onto the sales. I was able to grab some goodies from Black Friday and I am super excited to get a few gifts (and some treats for myself) during the biggest online shopping day of the year. I've listed a few items above that I've got my eye on, while also rounding up some great sales below. Happy shopping! I'd love to hear some of the items everyone snagged from Black Firday or are thinking of getting for Cyber Monday!

Let me start off by saying that my house smelled absolutely amazing when I was photographing these candles. Candles are always something I like to use when I want to unwind at night or to make my home feel inviting and cozy. I'm always going through tons of candles too since I burn them whenever I'm working, reading, taking a bath, or having company over. When I heard about Vallabox, I was intrigued by the fact you could subscribe or gift someone artisan candles and have them delivered to your doorstep each month. How fabulous that you would never run out of having a candle on hand whenever you need it!? Being able to gift a subscription is lovely as well, especially during this holiday season. A beautifully well made candle is something we would all love to have, but not necessarily buy for ourselves. Giving the gift of joy and warmth each month to a special someone is so heartwarming.

The idea for Vellabox came about when Adam, the owner and co-founder, saw that everyone loved getting his candles as gifts during the holidays or special events such as weddings and house warming parties. The candles could be enjoyed for long periods of time and bring happiness, light, and warmth into their surroundings. Being able to send someone this joy every month, with so little effort, led to the creation of Vellabox.

Vellabox is running a Black Friday and Cyber Monday deal beginning late Thursday night into Monday with the code GIVETHANKS15. This allows you to get $5 off your first subscription or gift subscription.

I'll be including Vellabox in my gift guides coming up as well. I'm in love with this company and their idea of providing light into our homes and hopefully, in turn, lighting up our lives. Stay tuned for some more Black Friday deals coming your way!

Today I want to share with you a lullaby album for children with original songs written by Jamie Hilton called Roots and Wings. When I get Ava up in the morning, we like to listen to some music while we play and get ready for the day. I personally love listening to Jamie sing the lullabies with her soft and soothing voice. One of the songs, Butterfly, has a video available on youtube, which you can watch here. It's one of my favorite songs on the album, especially since my mom loved butterflies. The message of the album is to give children the knowledge that they are loved and can be confident in all that life has to offer. I feel so lucky to be able to give Ava this beautiful message through Jamie's music.

Jamie says is best, "The lyrics of these lullabies pack the incorruptibility of God's promises and introduce children to His kind intentions toward them. Blending peaceful melodies, live instrumentation and skillful production, the ROOTS & WINGS lullaby project is meant to build a foundation for littles to know they are thoroughly loved and they can be confident and courageous in life's adventures."

You can find more information on Roots and Wings here. Each album costs $15 with proceeds going towards paying for the completed product. She does have a section where you can donate an album, for the same price of $15,  to a local NICU. A corresponding bedtime story book was written to go along with the music (I love this since we started reading Ava bedtime stories each night) and also children's dress up wings and women's jewelry.

Fashion Blogging Interview

Enchanting Elegance Interview

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween weekend. We had a blast dressing Ava up as Batman, or Batgirl in her case, while Justin was the Riddler and I was Catwoman. We also carved her first pumpkin into a cute smiling jack-o-lantern.

Today I'm sharing a podcast interview I did with Dina Marie Joy about fashion blogging, branding, and a little bit of my personal life. I had such a great time talking with her and discussing all the details and work that go into creating a blog post. The interview was done in early October and just posted this past weekend. We wanted it to have a laid back vibe as if it were two girlfriends talking to one another. You can listen to the podcast here on her website. Also, the podcast is available to listen on iTunes and Stictcher under Dina Marie Joy. Just subscribe and listen!

I'm absolutely in love with these photos of Ava in her gold polka dot skirt set. I used these photos for her baby announcements and cannot wait for everyone to see them! These are the colors of her nursery too, gold, blush, and white. All That Glitters Baby is an online boutique with handmade bows, bow-ties, and outfits for your little ones. I mean, how adorable is the gold glitter heart with her name on it?! I love how you can customize the outfit with your baby's name on it or even a different pattern like chevron. These would make such special gifts for family members or friends too. Definitely take a look at the boutique!

Online Pop Up Shop

Pop Up Shop- Enchanting Elegance

Happy Monday lovelies! I'm so excited to announce that I'll be hosting an online pop up shop for all of my followers starting tomorrow, Tuesday the 16th and ending on Friday the 19th. Eren Timario approached me asking if I'd like to host an online pop up for her Chole and Isabel boutique. I thought this was a wonderful idea, but first wanted to check out the jewelry to make sure it would be something my readers would like and also of good quality. Everything I present on Enchanting Elegance is held to my highest standards. I personally believe it is of importance to only bring quality material to my blog. While I looked over the product line, finding the most beautiful pieces, I knew this would be a great fit and an exciting opportunity to present a brand that may not be known about.

Also, as a little bonus, one lucky shopper will get 25% off of their $75 purchase. The winner will be chosen once the pop up shop ends on Friday. Good luck to everyone and let me know if you'll be attending the online pop up in the comments below!

Dad's Birthday Party

Turning 61

Ever since my mom passed we have been celebrating my dad's birthday at my house. I love having the chance to host the party and getting to entertain everyone. This year my dad turned 61 and we planned on treating him to dinner and then having cake and coffee back at my house. Angel food cake has always been the staple in my family and I love serving fresh strawberries with it. My brother's girlfriend also made an amazing apple strudel, she'll be a famous chef one day mark my words!, along with the coffee. I used happy birthday confetti to decorate the tables and cake plate, balloons by the fireplace, and banners placed along the walls and fireplace as well. It was such a fun night to enjoy with the family and show my dad how much he is loved.

Last year we had a big celebration since it was my dad's 60th. I really wanted go all out for him and he truly deserves it. We all went out to dinner on his birthday and then hosted a similar dessert party back at my house. Then, a few days later, we drove down to Hotel Hershey for a fabulous Sunday brunch. This had to be the best brunch I have ever had and seen. What a beautiful setting to relax and enjoy. They had every kind of food and dessert you could imagine. I'm glad we were able to do it and make his birthday so special. This happened right before I started this blog last year and never had a chance to share so what better time then when celebrating his birthday this year.

Styling Your Vanity

Pretty Little Things

My favorite time of the day is when I'm sitting at my vanity and getting ready for the day ahead. It's a time to relax and primp, which to me has always been quite fun. I wanted my space to reflect my personal loves and have a feeling of delicateness and romance. I knew right off of the bat that I wanted white furniture. It feels pretty and clean. Next, adding antique dishes for showing off some of my jewelry. I really loved the idea of having my jewelry out and also using it as a decoration. It's much easier getting ready when you can actually see what you own. Along the same lines, I wanted my makeup brushes to be out and keep them in a pretty candle holder and also a little decorative stiletto shoe my mom surprised me with. What vanity would be complete without a mirrored plate to keep perfume, little mementos, and flowers on? Really, anything can be stored on the plate and makes it feel oh so very feminine. Scattered here and there are little personal items such as a framed photograph of Justin and I along with little photos I place on my mirror, seashells from family vacations, a cork from my birthday in Hyannis Port last year, a crystal bear from my grandmother, and lastly a wand that has purple and blue stars, moons, and star dust. The wand was given to me as a child from my dad. It's something I've always loved and treasured and keep it in a prime spot where I can always see it. One of the last items on my vanity is an antique mirror and brush set my mom gave me. Having an extra mirror to hold up close comes in handy when you're applying eye liner and mascara.

A Joyous Announcement

Happy Valentine's Day

Today I am so thrilled to announce our pregnancy. I took these pictures for a photo announcement card that was sent out to our family and friends. Baby Brezovsky is on the way! Justin and I could not be any more excited. We are literally brimming with happiness as we await our little one to join us. Now that the second trimester has started, and I am feeling much better than in the first, I can finally start planning and preparing the nursery and all the little details that accompany the arrival. How fitting to share this news during a holiday that represents love and caring.

Flower Power

Flower Arranging Tips

The earth laughs in flowers
— Ralph Waldo Emerson
arranging flowers

Nothing beats having fresh flowers in your home. The bright colors and fragrant smells remind me of what such beauty there is in this world. Bringing fresh flowers into your home will no doubt brighten up your mood. While filling your home with fresh flowers can be costly, one trick I've learned is to buy bunches of inexpensive flowers, separate them all out, and then make my own small arrangements in pretty vases. So now you have the small arrangements chosen for each vase. Another trick I've learned is to take clear tape and make a grid pattern at the opening home of the vase. Think like a tic-tac-toe game. After creating the grid and cutting the stems to the appropriate length, place each flower within each little square until you can no longer see the clear tape. This way the flowers stay upright and do not fall over. Think outside of the box too with your vases. Why not try a bowl (cut the stems short for this), a teacup, or even a mason jar?
