Good morning and happy Monday! Mothers Day is this Sunday and what more perfect way to celebrate than matching with your Minnie Me! Ava and I saw these tops and thought they were the cutest thing. Disney always has the best outfits for family matching fun. These tops would also be adorable with some matching skirts. We went to one of our favorite flower parks to take these photos before meeting with some of my friends to take our kids to dinner and the movies. We all saw Ugly Dolls, which the kids loved! There’s some pretty cute songs and a great theme of everyone is beautiful inside and out.

Welcome to my favorite month of the year! So many wonderful things happen in May that make my heart fill with joy. Not only does the weather start to finally turn around (April showers bring May flowers!), but we have Mother’s Day, my birthday, May the 4th be with you for the Star Wars fans, Memorial Day, and our annual vacation to the Cape. It’s a month that I’ve looked forward to for as long as I can remember and still do to this day. I long to be spend time outdoors and May is the month where that finally starts to happen on a consistent basis. So here’s to the month of May, my favorite month of the year!

It’s a priority of mine to always look put together whether I’m dressed in jeans, a skirt, or a dress. On my more laid back days you’ll find me in some variation of this casual elegant outfit. This look is favorite of mine for still being dressed up, yet in a relaxed fashion. The pleated floral skirt is a dream to wear! I’m a big fan of pleats with them being especially fun for a good twirl. Ava and I were walking around looking at all of the cherry blossoms in town during this shoot. She is the absolute sweetest too. I cannot say enough how lucky I am to have her. She loves to give me kisses when we get photos together, which melts my heart. She also kept picking flowers for me and gets so excited to give them to me, which of course earns her another kiss!

Ditsy Floral Dress

Ditsy Floral Dress c/o || Similar Pearl Headband ||  Woven Mules || Wicker Bag || Earrings || Rose Coin Necklace c/o || Circle Hexagon Ring c/o || Pink & Blue Co Bracelet c/o ||

Happy Tuesday, friends! What a busy past couple of days Ava and I have had. To top it all off, tonight the Avengers are going to be at our local McDonalds! Ava’s pretty excited to meet them.

When we’re super busy, I love to just throw on a dress and go. It’s a simple way to look chic andput together when time is of the essence. Another go-to solution are accessories in natural fabrics like straw, wicker, or rattan. Not only do they give some texture to an outfit, they go with everything, and feel effortless. You’ll be hard pressed to find me without them during the spring and summer months. I’ve been living in these woven mules, which are so comfortable to wear. They fit true to size and go with everything I put on. They’re going to be my go-to shoe for summer. This little floral dress has slightly puffed sleeves and a peplum hem. It’s perfect for a night out or when matched with natural fabrics like I did, it has a dressed down feeling for the day.

Under The Blossoms

Floral Tea Dress c/o || Similar Pearl Headband || Pink & Blue Co Bracelet c/o || Sandals || Similar Wicker Bag || Circle Hexagon Ring c/o || Ava’s Glitter Circle Bag || Ava’s Dress ||

Happy weekend, friends! Ava and I went to go see Avengers End Game yesterday and man, what an amazing way to end the series! Both of us loved the movie that clocks in at just over three hours. I laughed, I cried, I was on the edge of my seat, and I wholeheartedly enjoyed the entire journey I’ve been on with these characters over the past eleven years. What a journey it’s been too. The entire theater clapped at the end, which I always love. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but definitely go see it, especially all of the fans.

This yellow tea dress was a dream to shoot under the weeping cherry blossom tree. With a bowtie at the neck, ruffles, and a floral print, this dress fit right in with romantic charm the trees have. Ava particularly enjoyed playing under them! We both wanted to wear yellow florals too. This is the cutest little number to throw on for a day out or even for a date night. Gingham & Bows

Pink Gingham Bow Top c/o || Similar Pleated Skirt || Pink Bow Sandals || Pink Bow Hat || Vanity Box Bag || Earrings || Pink & Blue Co Bracelet c/o || Circle Hexagon Ring c/o ||

What is it about a bow that simply makes my heart go aflutter? It’s one of those little details that makes a big impact and adds a feminine touch with a hint of whimsy. This darling pink gingham top with bows along the cuffs combines the best of both worlds with its fun spring/summertime print and of course, the beautiful bows. Not only does the top have bows, but my sandals and hat also have bows too! While putting this look together, I envisioned a spring time walk in the park or a picnic under a blossoming tree.

Tied With A Bow Wrap Skirt

Spring has finally sprung in Pennsylvania! The past two weeks have provided some magical days and evenings with the flowering trees blooming, the weather turning a tad warmer, and the fresh scent of spring in the air. I find the pretty blossoms to be the absolute best backgrounds and wish they would last longer than they usually do. Every time we see a blossom tree, Ava points it out with such excitement. She was such a darling during this photo shoot too. She kept bringing flowers over to me with the biggest smile on her face. She melts my heart! This wrap skirt was the perfect compliment to our afternoon out in the sun. With the temperatures rising, I wanted a look that reminded me of sunshine and blue skies. Of course, blue and yellow also have a nautical vibe to them, which I adore and its one of my favorite color combos! The skirt also has the most adorable ruffles along the hemline and fits true to size. Along with a day out in the spring, I can also imagine wearing this on a beach vacation!

Hello friends! Leopard has been one of my long time favorite prints as far back as I can remember. Even Ava is quite a fan of the print and likes to point it out every time we see it. This lightweight blouse combines two details I adore. A bow tie at the neck and of course the leopard print. The top feels so comfortable with a looser fit. It looks best when tucked into either a pair of jeans or a skirt. I particularly enjoy pairing leopard with colors of the season. It really does act as a neutral!

Good morning, everyone! When I first saw this blue polka dot dress, I thought of Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy. From there on out, I was completely sold! Reminiscent of the 1950s, this dress has cute cap sleeves and a self tie bow at the waist. It hits just above my knee and has a slight stretch to it making the fit very comfortable. To complete the retro style, I opted for white accessories, which also remind me of the gorgeous summertime. Whether a picnic in the park or an ice cream date, this look is sure to be sweet. Good morning, friends! Every time I see a tweed dress, I instantly think of Jackie Kennedy. She wore quite a bit of tweed throughout her life, typically a jacket and skirt set, and always looked beyond stylish in them. There’s no denying her grace, beauty, and charm, which always have and still continue to inspire me to this day. This tweed dress from a Chicwish conjures up retro vibes and soft romantic notions with it’s blush hue, mid-length sleeves, and a sheer self-tie bowknot. Even the sleeves have sheer ruffles along with cuffs. A charming frock that will add elegance to your spring wardrobe!

Good morning, friends! With the Easter holiday right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to show the outfits we’ll be wearing this year. Ava actually picked hers out before I got mine. She loves anything mint colored right now so it was no surprise when she choose her mint floral dress. She looks absolutely darling so ready for spring! I even recently put a mint cover on my phone, which Ava insisted we use during the photos. Anything mint lol! I’ve always loved matching with Ava, just as my mom had done with me, and couldn’t resist this mint floral embroidery dress with its whimsical retro feel. Everything about it reminds me of a romantic spring dream. It fits true to size. I’m wearing a size small.

Blush Ruffle Dress

Blush Ruffle Dress c/o || Picnic Bag || Similar Sandals || Pink and Blue Co. Bracelet c/o || Circle Hexagon Ring c/o || Gold Coin Necklace c/o || Ava’s Dress || Ava’s Rose Gold Sandals ||

Good morning, everyone! We recently had a gorgeous day with temperatures reaching 72 degrees, which was quite literally a heat wave. It brought everyone out to the parks, lakes, sidewalks, stores, and farms. Basically, if you could be outside then you were on that day. After getting some work done, Ava and I headed out for a walk and then a little picnic by our favorite lake. It was not only relaxing, but incredibly refreshing and invigorating.

We dressed in items that also had the same refreshing feeling with chic comfort in mind. My blush dress has beautiful flutter sleeves with buttons down the front and a tie to cinch at the waist. Also, and most importantly, pockets! I swoon every time a dress has pockets. Ava’s dress reminds me so much of spring with it’s pretty pastel stripes. I love these dresses for her since they’re easy and comfortable. She can run around and play easily while still feeling “dressed up.” Her jelly sandals are also a spring and summer staple for her. This year she picked out a rose gold shade. Last year, she got a hot pink version that she literally wore the entire summer and into fall. She loved them that much lol!

Polka Dot Pose

A very happy Tuesday to you and welcome to April! It feels so good to finally say hello to April. There are so many wonderful things to look forward to including the warmer weather, flowers blooming, and of course the Easter season. Ava is particularly excited for the bunny to be arriving soon. It’s still a bit cool up my way with some warm days mixed up, but seeing the sun shine is what really makes me smile. It’s an instant mood booster and so refreshing to see after the long gloomy winter days. We’re slowly getting there!

This polka dot dress, with pockets!, is also quite the instant mood booster in my opinion. Polka dots not only remind me of the fabulous retro days, but they're incredibly fun and flirty! Along with the pockets, this dress also features a tie around the waist and a darling collar at the neck. It has a nice weight to it as well. I wore this outfit to church on Sunday where Ava and I were greeters. It was so much fun to welcome everyone in for the service.

Good morning and happy Wednesday! I’m very excited to be teaming up with Part & Parcel, a monthly greeting card subscription service, for a fun giveaway today! Receiving a handwritten note or unique greeting card in the mail puts the biggest smile on my face and instantly brightens my day. It lets the reader know you took time out of your busy day to pen a letter with them in mind. Last month I wrote a post on the art of the handwritten note here. This is the perfect compliment to it!

Part & Parcel make it their mission to spread more happiness through snail mail. Let’s be honest, it means so much more receiving a card in the mail than it does by e-mail text. It’s the personal touch we all crave. Each month their customers receive a package with unique cards (stamps included!) made by independent and artisan card makers. It’s important to keep in touch with our loved ones and to also always have a card on hand when needed!

Tassel Tweed & A Bow

Tweed Dress c/o || Blush Mules || Similar Blush Gold Studded Bag || Pink & Blue Co. Bracelet c/o ||

Happy Friday, friends! There’s something quite endearing and charming about a bow. Whether on a blouse, dress, bag, tied into your hair, or even the transitional bow-tie, it never loses its allure. This tassel tweed dress alone is beyond lovely, and perfect for the transitional spring weather I might add, but adding in the bowknot broach is the quintessential cherry on top. It elevates the dress to a higher level giving it that special touch. The best part? Since the bow is a broach, you can remove it and wear it with other items!

Happy First Day Of Spring

Floral Dress c/o || Yellow Wedge Espadrilles || Wicker Bag || Pink Bow Ribbon Straw Hat || Sunglasses ||  Flower Earrings ||

Happy first day of spring, everyone!! My little chick and I have been anxiously waiting for this day and are so happy that it has finally arrived. A few days ago we got a taste of spring with highs in the 70s, blue skies, and an abundance of sunshine. We were outside almost the entire day. It was absolutely wonderful! We went to the park to walk and go to the playground followed by a trip to Hillside for some ice cream and photos. After that, we looked for signs of spring on another trip followed by a sunset drive. It was quite the magical day. Ava and I wanted to look our spring best with florals and colors to match the new season. She even put her own outfit together!

Good morning and happy Tuesday! I recently came across a jewelry company, J.Bubs, and fell in love with all of their pieces. Their jewelry has a modern glam feel to it with affordable prices and on trend pieces. Their dainty items, 3 of which I’m wearing above, are my favorite. The hexagon ring is 14k gold plated and is perfect for layering or wearing alone. The leopard kite earrings have a faux fur feel (very soft to touch) and look incredibly chic. The rose coin necklace is 18k gold plated and oh so lovely to wear. Coin necklaces are all the rage right now and with good reason. I chose the “rose” coin since it reminds me of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorite Disney movies. Use the code amanda25 for 25% off of your J.Bubs order. Sail To Sable Coat c/o || Gingham Dress c/o || Wedge Espadrilles || Straw Hat || Straw Bag c/o ||

Happy Friday, friends! White tweed, big gold buttons, and a knee length cut make this coat from Sail To Sable elegant in every single way. It’s been my go-to this season for the transition into warmer spring weather. I’m completely over winter and also strongly hoping we do not get any more snow storms. Fingers crossed! I’ve been starting to store away my winter outterwear and looking for a coat for the cooler spring days. This tweed one has a fresh feel with a light lining to keep me warm until we hit those 70 degree days. It also features a stand up collar and a fit and flare silhouette. I paired the coat with a fun gingham dress and yellow wedge espadrilles
