Hello Again

Hello everyone. It’s been quite some time since I’ve formally posted on this site, though you can always visit the shop page where I keep updated and fresh new favorite finds. With everything going on currently in the world, it did not seem appropriate at the time to stay with my posting schedule. I was focused on taking care of my family and making sure they were safe, and I still am.

This site has always been about inspiration, specifically with fashion and lifestyle. I feel ready to come back on and I hope to continue to inspire readers. It also feels appropriate to start formally posting again on my mom’s birthday, which is today. She was the reason I started this blog in the first place and my very first post was about her. The picture of her above is one of my absolute favorites. She was so cool and stylish! I love those red sunglasses. I can only hope she is smiling down from heaven and watching over my family. Always and forever mom, I love and miss you. Cheers.

I don't know about you, but my bags always seem to be disorganized. I basically toss everything in and then have to rummage around when I need something. Being a mom on the go means I'm always lugging around two bags; my own personal one and of course Ava's diaper bag. Both need to be organized so I can grab what I need at a moments notice. I was absolutely delighted to find Tote Savvy, which allows me to turn my everyday tote into a diaper bag and keep it perfectly organized. A win-win in my book! The organizer has various pockets for such things as diapers, wipes, bottles, toys, extra clothes,changing mat, and even my phone, magazines, wallet, and keys. A complete lifesaver. Now, I can stylishly carry my own totes and have them also be my diaper bag. The great thing is, the organizer can also be used for traveling, the gym, or even the beach or pool. Genius idea! This Humble Chic wallet I recently got fits perfectly into the organizer too. I'm not one for bulky wallets that take up too much space. This one is compact and fits all of the essentials.

A Moment to Remeber

Never Giver Up

Happy Thursday everyone! This being my first blog post, I felt it would be appropriate to make it an inspirational one. My mother always said to never give up no matter what obstacles come your way. These past few months have been difficult after losing her, but her advice has stuck with me through it all. Life certainly threw my mother some curve balls, but she always took the high road and never let them get her down. She was the definition of strength, beauty, and courage rolled into one.

I find it only fitting that this first post be dedicated to her. She inspires me each day to follow my dreams and she always gave me encouragement to be the best I can be. She lived a good and happy life, and even after her diagnoses, she still continued to stay positive and find the beauty in all life has to give. In part, because of her uplifting words, I decided to create this site and continue to follow my starry eyed dreams. I'm extremely thrilled to be able to do this and share my creativity.
