Holiday Style With A Bow

Sail To Sable Bow Back Dress c/o || Red Coat || Gloves || Similar Bow Heels || KJP JFK Pearl Necklace || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Drop Earrings || Similar Sequin Clutch ||

Happy Friday, friends! We woke up to a winter white wonderland after yesterday’s snow storm. It’s the first snow of the season and Ava was quite excited for it, me not as much lol. The new fallen snow has me dreaming of the cheerful holidays ahead and all of the happiness and joy that comes along with them. The holiday season is the perfect time of the year to add a little something special to your wardrobe, this bow dress included! It exudes the perfect amount of classic elegance and charm with the darling bow detail in the back. I can’t help but to think of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast At Tiffany’s when wearing this. She was the inspiration of this effortlessly chic holiday look.

The Classic Black Dress

Black Dress c/o || Sunglasses || Teal Velvet Heels || YEAH Clutch c/o || Lipstick || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning, friends! I wanted to start off by saying how deeply saddened and heart broken I am over the events that took place in Las Vegas. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by this senseless tragedy. In times like these I trust in God's plan, whatever that may be, but I also know that something needs to change in this country. There have been too many events like these taking place lately.

Now, onto this gorgeous dress from Chicwish, my go-to shop for all things lovely! I love a good little black dress, especially one that has charming details to make it stand out from the rest. It's a classic for a reason. This dress fits true to size and is under $55. I'm wearing a size S/M. The semi-sheer overlay has little black dots andfloral crochet trimming. I'm in love with the self tie bow knot too! Pretty much anything with bows makes me swoon. This dress comes with a removable cami underneath too. This dress is fabulous for a girls night out or a date night with your loved one.

Sparkle, Sparkle

Humble Chic Dress c/o || Gold Sequin Clutch, Old, Similar HERE || Freyrs Sunnies c/o || Sequin Heels, Old, Similar HERE || The Bombshell Curling Wand c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Chloe and Isabel Bracelet c/o || Humble Chic Stud Earrings c/o || Lip Color

"You mustn't be afraid to sparkle a little brighter, darling." -Kristen Kuehn. How true that is! I never shy away from a bit of little sequins, or a lot haha! This little black dress from Humble Chic is so comfortable on with a nice amount of stretch and has a light lining underneath for a smooth beautiful fit. It's a fantastic dress to grab and throw on quickly for a night out on the town. I love how the dress skims the body and hugs it in all the right places. The silhouette is so flattering without being too revealing. It's currently on sale too for under $50! I wanted to keep the look simple, but with some extra jazz added in. A black dress and heels with a snappy gold bag. They key to adding in that jazz? All of the sequins! Obviously, this is strictly a nighttime look. If I were going to wear it for the day, I would only have one sequin accessory, two tops if they were smaller like jewelry.

Little Black Dress

Happy Friday, friends! One item that every woman should own is a little black dress. It is a staple piece made famous by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's. If you haven't seen the movie, stop what you are doing are go watch it! This strapless style from Humble Chic has a nice thick fabric that looks and feels wonderful. Lets not forget the fit and flare skirt! Unfortunately, this specific dress is sold out currently, but should be replaced soon. I wanted to wear the dress out for daytime and decided to throw on a jean jacket over it. This keeps the look casual while still being polished. The pops of pink add some feminine flair. I'm literally obsessed with these shoes too! I love the slip ons with a wrap style bow and the gorgeous shade of pink.

Does anyone have any plans for the weekend? I'll be taking a little trip to Washington D.C. to see the sights and visit with some relatives. I'm definitely excited to be doing some traveling.

Happy Wednesday, loves! We're half way through the week already! Yesterday, Phil saw his shadow which means spring should be coming early this year. For once, I'm happy with his prediction haha. It really has been feeling like spring here in PA lately, though that is supposed to change this weekend, but all of this warm weather has me dreaming of the beautiful months to come.

One item you can never go wrong with is a little black dress. Not only do they evoke the elegance of Audrey Hepburn, but they always feel chic and sexy without ever losing their classic taste. The detailing on this Humble Chic dress is absolutely stunning. The delicate lace and scalloped edges make this a pretty ladylike choice. The freshwater pearl earrings and necklace are both feminine and exquisite against the dark lace dress. Is it just me or do pearls make anyone else feel graceful whenever you wear them? Both the necklace and earrings would be a great addition to your jewelry wardrobe for a new twist on the classic strand. Don't forget that Humble Chic is offering 15% off of your order with the code LIKEIT.

My favorite era of fashion, and really everything, is the 1950s. I love how the women and men would dress up everyday and look incredibly fabulous whether they were going to work, the grocery store, a party, or stopping by an neighbors house to say hello. I always try to incorporate a little bit of that sentiment into my outfits today while still keeping it modern and updated. This Karina black ponte dress has a tailored silhouette with pockets (love!) and makes me feel as if I stepped out of a vintage magazine. To keep the look modern, I used accessories that were not too matchy matchy. The Humble Chic coral wristlet adds a nice pop of color and feels so soft with it vegan leather. The glittery gold belt and shoes elevate the outfit to holiday chic or a night out of the town or, if you're like me, everyday glam.

Happy Monday, friend! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. I had the holiday tea with my dad which went splendidly. I always love to see everyone dressed up in their finest with all of the beautiful decorations surrounding me. Did anyone go see Bond? Let me know what you thought below! I do want to take a moment and say how saddened I am over the Paris attacks that happened this past weekend. I only hope the people who lost loved ones can find peace once again. They've certainly been in my thoughts and prayers these past few days.

When I put this outfit together, I thought how Parisian chic it looked with the white collar and little black dress. It's effortless and put together all in one. The bow detail on the heels add a whimsical feel and the pop of leopard with a red lippy are always in style! I recently got this brown coat and could not be more in love! Even the barista at Starbucks complimented me on it haha! It's soft and a great length for the cooler months. I wore it with a dress, but it would be great with a chambray shirt, black pants, and some black flats or sparkly heels.

Make sure to check out some more great affordable looks from Shein here!
