Embroidered Cuff Blazer // Spring Style

Happy Friday, friends! This look was so much fun to shoot because it literally felt like summer outside! Seeing that it was still February, that is pretty darn amazing. I could hardly believe that I was wearing shorts! This is an outfit that you would find me wearing on any given weekend in the spring or summer. I'm kind of obsessed with blue and white right now and could not resist this classic striped bow tie blouse. It's darling dressed up or down. I've also been wearing a lot of red, white, and blue lately, maybe I have July 4th on my mind? lol. It's one of the most classic color combos you can wear and had that nautical Americana vibe to it. How about the embroidered cuffs on the blazer too?! It's all in the details. I've actually been on the hunt for a good red blazer for a few years now. It was one of those pieces that I knew I needed, but always got something else when I was out shopping. I'm totally in love with this one and for $32, its at a price point that cannot be beat.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend! It may snow up my way, which I am not prepared for at all! I've gotten too used to this nice weather. Does anyone else have any plans?

Happy Wednesday! I actually have the day to myself today. Justin took this week off and is watching Ava for me so I can have a little me time haha. The one thing I love to do, and cannot with Ava, is go to the movies. I'll be seeing The Revenant (I'm excited since everyone said they liked it here!) and the classic movie The Maltese Falcon with Humphrey Bogart. The weather is rain and a frozen mix for the whole day so unfortunately, no outdoor activities. I'm fine with that since the movies and shopping are all indoors!

Now, onto this spriny outfit! I really wish the sun was shining when I was photographing this. It's one of those outfits that would look marvelous with a golden glow. The skirt is so easy breezy beautiful and has me dreaming of warmer weather, flowers, and sunshine. It reminds me of the cherry blossoms blooming, which is my favorite part about spring! I stayed with pink hues and felt oh so ladylike. I ordered a size medium in the skirt based on the size guide, but felt it was slightly too big. I definitely could have gotten away with the small.

Quick question, does anyone watch the show Lucifer on Fox? I've been hooked on it ever since it aired! Just wondering if there are any other fans out there!

Happy Tuesday, loves! While I love to wear a dress or skirt, actually adore, there's something incredibly sexy and chic about wearing menswear inspired items. This look nods to the formal tux with a feminine spin and of course a little bit of sparkle for that special night out. I'm head over heels for this gold jacket too! It can be dressed down with some jeans or worn with a fit a flare dress for some added posh. I'm wearing an XS for reference. It's only $23.99 too. It makes a great statement piece so make sure to keep the rest of the outfit neutral.
