A very happy Wednesday to you! The middle of the week has arrived and for me that means t-minus two days until my short weekend trip to Cape Cod! My dad and I are leaving mid morning Friday and arriving back late Sunday night. I'm making the most that I can of this trip since it will likely be my last one before Ava arrives. I'm definitely stating to feel the discomfort of pregnancy though so hopefully I'll make it through the 6 hour car ride without any problems. The bump is getting big isn't it?!
I never used to wear maxi dresses due to my short height. I'm only 5ft 2 in, which is pretty darn short! Lately though I've been finding myself drawn to them and how they can actually work to make you look taller. This dress from Triple Thread fits beautifully, even over my baby bump, and has the loveliest lace detail on the back. I spiced up the look with these fab pink heels, I mean how could I resist them, and a gold box clutch. I could not have been more comfortable and felt so at ease. This is not a maternity dress either, but it works perfectly as one.
