Burgundy Dress

Burgundy Dress c/o || Blush Circle Bag || Similar Burgundy Mary Jane Heels || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Hello, friends and happy Monday! It's not only the beginning of a new week, but also a new month! I can't believe that Sunday was the first day of October. This year is flying by!! Also, over the weekend the temperatures dropped down to the 50s and 60s, which means is certainly feels like fall now. Cozy sweaters anyone?? One of my favorite, and more worn, colors for fall is burgundy. I simply cannot get enough of it! Whether it be a sweater, jacket, bag, or shoe, burgundy is my go-to when I need some color mixed into an outfit. In this case I made it the statement color for the entire outfit with a little bit of blush mixed in. How about this dress too?! It reminds me of something Kate Middleton might wear. The white collar and cuffs are what drew my eye to the dress making it stand out from the rest. The dress runs true to size. I will say to be careful using an iron with it. I accidentally had mine on a higher setting and it ruined the dress where the iron hit it.

A Classic Combo

Hello, friends and happy Friday Eve! One of my favorite colors to wear in the fall is anything tan or camel. As soon as fall hits, I immediately want to start wearing it! Black, tan, and white are one of those classic color combinations you can never go wrong with. Especially when you sprinkle in leopard prints for a pop of fun. Leopard is such a staple for fall. I fell in love with the dreamy romantic vibes this turtleneck sweater has. The sleeves are sheer with little Swiss dots on them. The sweater is lightweight and completely cozy. Truly a statement maker in a classic way. This skirt has 70s vibes with patch pockets and buttons down the front. The skirt does run big so I would size down one size for the best fit.

Romance In The City

Good morning all! As you may or may not know, Chicwish is one of my favorite sites to find on trend pieces with amazing detail and a great price point. My favorites from there have always been the dresses and skirts, but that should be no surprise, haha. This dress runs true to size. I'm wearing an XS for reference. The floral embroidery is so pretty and the trimming has little pom poms, which are the cutest. I typically hesitate with maxi styles, but this dress fit my 5'2 frame without dragging on the ground which is definitely a win! Speaking of my height, maxi styles give the illusion of height too. I'm always on the lookout for little tips and tricks to look taller =)

Hello, friends and happy Friday and fall! My favorite season of the year is finally and officially here. I have so many warm and happy memories during this time of the year. Speaking for the blog, it's a time when fashion gets inspiring, interesting, and cozy. All of the "basic girl" things I love and I am not afraid to admit that, haha! Pumpkin spice latte's, wearing cozy sweaters and riding boots, apple picking, hay rides, pumpkin picking, bon fires and making smores', the warm smell of baking cookies, the smell of cinnamon, leaf rides, and all of the fall candles from Bath and Body Works. Trust me, they have the best candles! Personally, I was married in the fall as were my parents and my grandparents. It's a time when school was getting into the swing of things and the excitement of "new horizons" was very real. One of the best times of the year!

This outfit is a favorite of mine that I recently wore. I love the mix of burgundy, blush, and cream colors. The light layering with the blazer is fabulous for those cool mornings and evenings. Almost everything I'm wearing is something that I already owned too, which is great. I love to "shop my closet" and re-mix outfits that I've previously worn. I could also see this outfit being re-mixed to wearing dark blue skinny jeans and tall cognac boots for a weekend style!

The Suede Jacket // Easy Transition

Suede Jacket || Similar White Dress || Tan Wrap Sandals || Sunglasses || Tignanello Bag c/o || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Similar Star Earrings ||

Hello, all! One of my favorite pieces to wear is a white dress. I know the old saying of not wearing white after Labor Day, but I personally think that is quite silly. Some of my favorite fall looks have white pieces in them! Transitioning my summer dresses over to fall, especially my white ones, are made easy with a suede moto jacket. Suede is huge for fall and this tan one pairs well with soooo many items. Cognac colors are my go-to for fall. Love love love them! This suede jacket fits true to size for reference.

We've been having some SPECTACULAR weather here lately! This whole week is supposed to be nice so I've been making sure to get out as much as possible. I'm also getting excited for some of my favorite shows to start their premieres. So many things to love about fall, haha.

Hello Moto

Leather Jacket || Polka Dot Ruffle Top || Paige Black Skinny Jeans || Tan Suede Pumps || Sunglasses || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Tignanello Tan Bag c/o ||

Hello, friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I had a wonderful time visiting with family and enjoying some r&r in picturesque Lancaster. It's always so peaceful there and brings back many beautiful memories from my childhood. I was even able to pick up some mums and a giant pumpkin. Looks like fall is in full swing!

There's something very "cool girl" about the leather moto jacket. Throughout the decades, the leather jacket has always had the essence of cool. Think about Fonzy in Happy Days. I wanted to sweeten the look up with my polka dot blouse, while still keeping an edge to the outfit. I love the gold hardware on the jacket too. Typically you see silver, but gold feels extra special. How amazing is this tan leather bag too?! It's so roomy to fit all of my everyday essentials in it. Plus, I love how it can transition through all of the seasons.

Farewell Summer....

Gingham Ruffle Dress c/o || Vt Thai Straw Bag c/o (Use Code Ama01 for 10% off your order) || Rockstud Heels c/o ||

Hello, all! While there are technically still some days left in summer, the weather is starting to slowly change over. I have to say, the weather in NEPA has been all over the place lately, what's new though lol. The end of August and beginning of September were particularly chilly and felt like October. The past few days have actually felt like they should, which definitely put a smile on my face. I still enjoy those warm and sunny afternoons! In any case, I'm wrapping up my outfits that are purely summer influenced and saying a fond farewell to summer 2017. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Hello all and happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I took Ava to our county fair and had the best time. The weather was gorgeous with sunshine, blue skies, and temperatures in the mid 70s. I remember going to the fair as a child myself and all throughout high school. I have to say my favorite part was always the food and it still is, haha! Also, I'm so thankful that all of my friends and family in Florida are doing alright and weathered hurricane Irma without any harm or injuries.

This gingham skirt is soooo beautiful and the perfect amount of flare to it. I love the vibrant blue color. It also has pockets, which if you've read this blog for a while then you know I'm obsessed with dresses and skirts that have pockets! I wanted this outfit to have a preppy feel to it while also including elements of both summer and fall. It's only $15 and fits true to size. I love pieces like this that seamlessly work in both summer and fall. Plus, it's a staple item that will never go out of style. Gingham prints are absolutely a classic as well as the fit and flare style.

As soon as the temps drop, I'm in a constant state of being chilled and trust me, in NEPA the temps have DROPPED. Haha, no joke. For this in-between weather I love a cozy cardigan to keep me warm and allow me to still wear some of my favorite summer pieces. This dusty rose cardigan from Chicwish is the perfect mix of a sweater and jacket rolled into one. It has an open front with wide lapels and folded cuffs. I love the fit. Its not too tight or baggy. I paired the cardigan with my favorite tee to wear from summer (also in a pink shade) and these velvet flats that are beautiful for fall. They have the cutest little bow on them too! Anything velvet has been catching my eye lately. I'm wearing a S/M in the cardigan and its under $40! Such a steal for a staple piece that you'll be wearing all the time.

I actually had my first PSL of the season yesterday and it was so delicious. While I'm sad to see summer dwindling down, I'm also getting excited for all of the fall activities we have planned. Fall is always an extremely busy time of the year for us. As you know, we've been experiencing some early fall weather, which means cozy cardigans and sweaters! This navy blue cardigan with bright white stars on it from Chicwish is fun and unique all while keeping you warm. It reminds me of the night sky too, which is awesome. I've always been fascinated by the stars and the moon. It has an oversized fit (I'm wearing a S/M)and costs under $55. The star cardigan evokes a bit of magic to any outfit its paired with!

Hello all and happy Friday eve! I can hardly believe that tomorrow rings in a new month and a new season with it. Crazy how fast time flies by. While I'm super excited for fall to arrive, I'm still enjoying every last drop of summer that there is. One thing I always miss about summer is just throwing on a dress and heading out the door. It's a no fuss outfit that always looks effortlessly chic. While I do love to layer in the fall, I'll still always miss the ease of a simple dress. This dress reminds me of lemon aid and its only $20! Such a steal. I love that it has some sleeves on it too, which makes it have a shirt dress feel. Oh! This dress has pockets too! I'm obsessed with dresses that have pockets, haha.

I wore this bag recently in my previous two posts and adore how big and roomy it is without looking too overwhelming on my small frame. It looks like a straw bag, but its actually made out of water hyacinth! Pretty cool, right?! It's very light weight too, which is great for when I need to put all of my everyday essentials in it and then carry it around all day. It's only $22.86 too, which is an awesome price for a well made bag. I've been talking with the company over the past few weeks and they are very reputable and friendly. No complaints here. All of the bags are hand crafted too. I recently got this one to transition into fall with. I'm not ready to completely put away my straw/wicker bags yet.

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! Today I'm very excited to be partnering with Julie Brown NYC to tell you about an amazing contest to win a $150 gift card to their store! Who doesn't love a little fall shopping spree?! The coat and tweed dress I'm wearing above are both from their new fall line and I have to tell you, I'm absolutely in love with both pieces. The berry colors in both the dress and coat are beyond gorgeous. Ava could not stop touching the coat too, haha. She kept saying "mommy's coat! mommy's coat!" and wanted to hold it. The dress even has suede paneling along the side that is so soft and adds a unique little twist. The other items in their fall catalogue are equally drool worthy, I'm particularly eyeing this coat which would be perfect for fall and winter! I'm wearing a size P in the dress and a size 2 in the berry coat.

Visit my Instagram in order to enter the contest, which will be running from today through Monday! The winner will be chosen on Monday. Good luck and i hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Blue Porcelain

Blue Porcelain Top And Short Set c/o || Clutch || Sunglasses || Rock Stud Sandals c/o || Bauble Bar Star Drop Earrings c/o || Christian Paul Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Rose Gold Love Bangle ||

Good morning, friends and happy Friday eve! Haha, we're almost there to the weekend! I'm particularly excited for this weekend because we're supposed to have spectacular weather. I mean, absolutely flawless paradise type of weather. Sunshine, blue skies, temps in the 70s, slight breeze, and NO rain in sight! That means lots of outdoor activities are scheduled.

One of my favorite patterns that is reminiscent of the good ol' days is blue porcelain. It's striking with the vibrant blue color, one of my favorite colors. I actually used an almost identical shade of blue for my brides maids dresses when I got married. It's been a long time favorite. Every time I see the pattern it reminds me of The Andy Griffith Show, which if you have never seen, please go watch a few episodes! In the colored episodes, Aunt Bee has plates with a blue and white porcelain pattern on them. I also love to search for vintage plates/cups/bowls with the pattern when I go antiquing. The set is only $18 and runs true to size. Combo sets like this are great. It's like a two for one deal!

Butterscotch Cardigan

One of my most favorite seasons is approaching and I simply cannot wait. As each day grows closer, I grow more and more excited with anticipation. Summer is still rocking, but around this time I like to start sprinkling fall looks into my wardrobe. Luckily, this whole upcoming week we're supposed to have "fall like" weather with cool mornings, evenings and warm sunny afternoons in the 70s. Cardigans and layering pieces are an absolute staple for me in the fall. This butterscotch one from Julie Brown NYC has a subtle golden shimmer along with ribbing and cables. The open style makes this flattering for every body type. The butterscotch shade is a beautiful neutral that will pair with a variety of items in your wardrobe. It also comes in five different shades! I'm loving the spiced wine in particular!

Running Errands

Hello all and Happy Monday! A few days ago I wore this athletic outfit out while running some errands around town. I cannot even tell you how comfy everything I have on is! The gray sweater is a little bit cropped, which makes them perfect for these high waisted leggings. The sweater is so super soft. It feels like the coziest blanket you've ever cuddled up in! It's one of my favorite pieces right now and I cannot wait to continue to wear it into fall. The leggings are a high quality (thick fabric) and stay up without any sagging. I did read some reviews on them saying to size down, which I did, and found them to fit good. I'm wearing an XXS. They are a longer length so I rolled up the ends a bit. Honestly, they are the best pair of leggings I've ever owned. I'm also in love with these Nike's! I'm typically not a sneakers girl, but these are sooooo amazing and great for running around with Ava. I feel like I'm walking on air! I also like how the tongue is attached to the shoe. I sized up 1/2 a size for the best fit.

Pink Pom Poms

Happy Friday, friends! This dress is so cute with small bell sleeves and little pom poms along the hemline, cuffs, and around the chest. I love how feminine it is and super comfy to wear too! Plus, it's under $24! This dress has a loose fit. I'm wearing an XS for reference and found it to be roomy. While it's still summer and I'm savoring every last second of it, I'm starting to think ahead to transition outfits and the cooler weather, though they're forecasting a warmer fall this year so who knows. Regardless, I'm loving the fact that this dress can be taken from summer into fall with its thicker fabric and long sleeves. Pink is everywhere for fall and can be worn year around, which I totally love! A simple switch of the bag and shoes and you have a transition to fall outfit.

I went with an all pink ensemble and these rock stud heels (I told you I've been wearing them non-stop!) They're the perfect summer sandal and are actually really comfy to wear. The Floral Maxi Dress

Hello and happy Tuesday, friends! Typically I stay away from maxi dresses because of my short height. Now, don't get me wrong, I love how they look, but they are usually too long for me to wear or seem to overwhelm my small frame. The one I'm wearing above not only fits like a glove, but also is the perfect length for petites! I'm 5'2 for reference. I'm also loving the front slit and the exposed back. This dress is definitely sexy in a very subtle way. These rock stud heels are the PERFECT dupes for the Valentino ones. You can't beat the $45 price tag on them. I've been wearing them non stop since I received them. They fit true to size.
