Striped Skirt Set

Good morning and happy Friday, everyone! Stepping out in style is easy breezy in this striped top and skirt set from Chicwish. The bow on the top is the perfect detail to finish the look off. The blue and white stripes have a classic feel and is one of the top trends this spring. Chicwish has so many blue and white pieces right now that I'm swooning over like this top, this skirt, and this dress. I particularly love how you can mix and match these two pieces to create other looks as well. You can get so many different outfits out of just one set! I'm wearing a size XS for reference. Straw and wicker bags are always and spring and summer time favorite to me. They feel special because of how seasonal they are and of course they're a classic that never goes out of style. To keep the look updated and fun I opted for some sequin striped keds, which are my go-to when I'm running out the door now. Let's be honest, who doesn't love some sequins and a comfy shoe?!

Big Bow Top

There's something quite special about a bow. It's one ofthose feminine details that sends my heart swooning. I cannot even tell you how many bow items I have! Whether it be a bow belt, printed top, or piece of jewelry, I always gravitate towards any piece or item with a bow associated with it. This bowknot top is just as sweet as can be. The oversized bow adds some drama to the simple pink top. It is detachable so the top can be worn without the bow if wanted. Also, I found the top to be a bit sheer so a cami would be needed underneath. I told you yesterday that I am having a moment with stripes! I wanted to give the playful top a bold bottom with some horizontal stripes. This skirt is made with a mid-weight fabric and runs slightly small, though I still got my normal size.

Birds Of A Feather

Black and white with a pop of red is one of those color combos I will never tire of. It is endlessly chic and timeless. When I saw the bird print on the midi skirt, I fell in love with its whimsical charm. Not only do the stripes pack a bold punch, but the birds add a touch of fun and subtle color to the outfit. I knew I wanted a dark top to pair with the skirt and chose this lace one for some added romance. Nothing quite says romance like lace does. If you follow me on Instagram, then I'm sure you've seen I've been on a stripe kick lately. Almost every outfit I've worn has included stripes! You can never go wrong with them.

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Winter storm Jonas came through on Saturday and left about 6 inches of snow for my area. Not as bad as some areas got so I'm definitely thankful for that. It was just enough to have some fun in. Anyone else deal with Jonas this weekend?

I've become a huge fan of pairing red and pink together lately and lets be honest, you can never go wrong with stripes! This is really a fabulous combo to stand out in and reminds me of the Kate Spade saying, "Live Colorfully." This striped skirt feels wonderful on. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and how well it fit me. It's one of those pieces you'll be glad to have since you can wear it so many different ways. Another item I recently got was this wood watch from Jord. It's made from maple wood with a lavender face, thought it seems to be in between a pink and purely hue. Right up my alley! It's beautifully crafted with swarovski crystal markers and sapphire crystal glass. I'm literally blown away!
