July Glossybox // Sea You Soon

July Glossybox c/o || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Earrings || Similar Red Dress ||

Good morning and happy Monday, everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. We had the most fun this past weekend, an absolute blast, that I cannot wait to share some photos from! Our church summer fest (like a fair) was also this past Saturday followed by an outdoor service with the sun setting, which was magical. In the meantime, the big talk around town was if everyone got their lawns mowed, haha. We had rain for the past week and I’m talking about major downpours to the point of flooding, though thankfully the Susquehanna river did not flood it’s banks this time. We had a brief reprieve Saturday and a Sunday with everyone rushing around to fit all of their outdoor activities in while the sun shined, including the lawn. It’s supposed to rain now for another straight week, but I’m hoping the forecast will change eventually.

Now, onto this months ocean themed Glossy Box! First, how gorgeous is the design created by Sarah Bolton, on the box?! I’m head over heels for it. Anything ocean related makes me happy :). The box itself is perfect for keeping mementoes in. Check out below the products included, many that I’ve used already!

Skinn Cosmetics Infusion Recover & Renee Single-Use Facial Masks:  I used one of these the other night and LOVED it. My skin felt slightly tingly after the mask had this beautiful glow the next day. All good things, haha! This restorative facial mask is soaked in nutrients like lavender, tamarind seeds and dried apples, it also uses lacticacid for milks exfoliation and vitamin C to help skin appear revitalized.

Kueshi Facial Makeup Remover: This has to be the best eye makeup remover I have ever used. It did not sting my eyes and actually did get everything off, while also leaving the delicate skin feel soft. I was impressed! The two-part routine uses soft oils to remove ever waterproof makeup and lotion to leave you feeling fresh and clean.

NCLA So Rich Cuticle Oil In Mermaid Tears: I’ve used this for the past few days and appreciate how it keeps my cuticle area moisturized, plus it has a really nice scent! The vitamin E combined with sunflower seed oil not only nourishes your nails and cuticles, but locks it in for lasting effects.

John Masters Organics Citris & Neroli Detangler: This is a very lightweight conditioner, not creamy, and sinks right in. The key ingredients like grapefruit and soy protein tone, hydrate and strengthen your hair without layering multiple products.

John Masters Organics Hair Spray: This hair spray smells so fresh and pretty! It has a touchable hold and non-sticky feel.

It’s Skin Mini Macaron Lip Balm: This is absolutely adorable and looks just like my favorite cookie. Inside this macaron is a moisturizing nourishment to make your lips as tantalizing as your tan!

A Day Of R&R With Shakti Salon

Shakti Salon Servies c/o || Yellow Tie Sleeve Dress || Similar Yellow Sandals || Rattan Tote || Sunglasses ||

Good morning and happy Friday, friends!  Im very excited to share my recent visit at Shakti, a high end Aveda salon in Kingston, PA. As soon as I walked in I immediately felt welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and kind! I felt like a I was talking to old friends. The salon itself is gorgeous. An abundance of natural light streams in through the large windows making the salon have a very airy, bright, and cheerful atmosphere.

I had a mani, pedi, hair gloss treatment, and cut done. I’ll tell you, this mama needed some rest and relaxation and Shakti delivered just that! All of the products used were Aveda and are shown here. I’ve been a long time fan of Aveda and their natural ingredients. My hands and feet were so soft afterwards (the foot bath was heavenly!) and I adore the OPI color we chose. It’s really pops for summer! After the mani and pedi, I got a hair gloss treatment followed by the cherry almond shampoo and conditioner. It smells sooo yummy! Lastly, I had a cut with long layers put in and then styled with some curls. My hair looks the best it ever has. It feels soft, is incredibly shiny, looks healthy and has beautiful movement to it.

I knew that I was going to be at the salon for about four hours so I wanted to dress in something comfortable, but also chic enough to go be able to go out afterwards. This tie-sleeve swing dress fits the bill! The color I’m wearing is currently sold out, but seven additional colors still remain. I love how soft the dress is and the cute little tie details on the cap sleeve with an open accent. It’s currently on sale too!

I honestly cannot thank everyone enough for my wonderful experience at Shakti. I really do not treat myself very often with beauty services so this was truly a treat. It was honestly my first mani and pedi too! That’s hard to believe, but I’ve always done them myself. I couldn’t stop smiling as I saw all of the results. Thank you again Shakti!

Shakti Salon has a very special new guest offer going on right now for $20 off your next service. Get the coupon HERE

Toile Print And Golden Hearts

Ruffle Crop Top c/o || Similar Toile Print Skirts (Here) And (Here) || Humble Chic Rose Gold Heart Earrings c/o || Sandals || Rattan Tote ||

Happy Wednesday, friends! I’ve has this skirt for quite some time now that I originally purchased from ModCloth. I’ve always had a “thing” for this print since it reminds me so much of the blue and white antique pattern you see on tea cups, plates, or bowls. I wanted to give this skirt a little refresh with this ruffle crop top that has the most seductive back, or lack there of, haha. Honestly though, the back is my favorite part of the top. It’s quintessentially summer. The 24k rose gold heart earrings (rose gold!!) are quite a delicate beauty. They’re elegantly designed, lightweight, and the perfect finishing touch to any outfit. Humble Chic has always been a go-to for me when I’m looking for some delicate jewelry. The hearts not only evoke a sense of romance, but also charm and are a chic alternative to the traditional hoop style. You can use the code AMANDAHEART  for 35% off of the heart earrings in any color or size! The code is good for today Wednesday the 25th through Thursday the 26th.

Yellow Floral Top

Yellow Floral Top || White Shorts || Blush Floral Loafers || Wicker Bag || Sunglasses || Sunhat || Anchor And Pearl Bracelet || Tassel Earrings c/o ||

Good morning, friends! Lately, I’ve been smitten with anything and everything yellow. I can’t seem to get enough of the cheery sunshine color! When I saw this yellow floral top, it was a no brainer for me. It’s a lightweight chiffon material, perfect for any summer outing. This would also make a great top to wear to work with a blazer. It’s extremely versatile and fits true to size. There’s also eighteen total designs for this top. Variety is the spice of life!

Did anyone go see Mama Mia Here We Go Again this past weekend? I saw it and loved it!  The actors all did a great job and the story was very touching. The last scene with Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfreid (mother and daughter in the movie) was so beautifully done. I could not stop crying watching it. You’ll know why when you see it. It reminded me so much of my mother and I with Ava.

Mommy And Me // Monogrammed Pink Roll Neck Sweater

Ava’s Pink Monogrammed Roll Neck Sweater c/o || My Pink Sweater || Blush Sandals || Shorts || Sunglasses ||  || Anchor and Pearl Bracelet ||

Good morning and happy Monday! I'm so excited to finally be able to share this post! As you know, any post that has Ava in it is very special to me, including this dreamy sunset with our mommy and me outfits. I absolutely adore matching with my mini! Ava’s sweater from Monogram Mary was the inspiration for our outfits. It’s a beautifully made roll neck sweater with a turtle motif and Ava’s initials inside. I was blown away by the quality of the piece and also how cute Ava looks in it! It’s the perfect weight for a cool summer night too. You can chose from a variety of motifs, thread colors, monogram styles, and different fonts. We kept our look casual with the pink sweaters. some jean shorts, and pink sandals. I really love the third picture of Ava here. She looks like a little model! It truly was a magical night with the gorgeous sunset and fun we had while capturing these precious moments.

No7 Beauty

T-Shirt Dress || Celestial Earrings ||  No7 Lash Impact Lash Serum || No7 Lash Impact Lash Primer || No7 Lash Impact Ultra in Brown/Black || No7 Matte Liquid Lips (I’m Using Captivate) || Other Colors Include, Grace, Inspire, Captivate, Courage, Conquer, and Fearless (Taken In Order Of The Second Picture ) || All No7 products c/o

I’ve always had a love for makeup. I can remember being a little girl anxiously awaiting the time when I would be able to apply makeup. I fondly remember going to Claire’s and Afterthoughts with my mom to buy my first eyeshadows and lip glosses. It’s a joy for me to watch my own daughter now go through all of my makeup and get excited to try different things on. She’s most fond of lipsticks and eyeshadows herself. Watching her veins back so many memories of myself doing the exact same thing with my mom.

I get pretty excited when I try a brand I’ve been hearing many wonderful things about. Mascara and lipsticks are the two items I purchase the most of, namely because I’ve never had a bad reaction or breakout from them. My skin is very sensitive making me extra careful as to what I apply to it. I’ve tried tons of different mascaras and lipsticks throughout the years and have found a few that I go back to time and time again.

Adding to my go-tos are these new products from No7. I’ve seen this brand before, mostly while browsing at Target, and have always wanted to try them. I can happily say that these products live up to their hype! First, the Matte Liquid Lips. I love the idea of a matte lip, but have never found ones that do not dry my lips to the point of unsightly flaking. I was pleasantly surprised when these highly pigmented glosses when on, without feeling sticky, became matte, but still felt pillow-y without drying my lips. My favorite colors are Captivate and Inspire. Grace is a stunning neautral, but I typically need a little more color or I look like a ghost.

Next, the Lash Impact products. Mascaras are my favorite type of makeup. While I don’t do anything drastic with my makeup, I do spend the most time on my eyes creating a soft shimmery neautral base, then liquid liner to crest a cat eye, followed by two to three layers of mascara.  At night I sweep on a layer of the Lash Serum on the base of my upper lashes, which stays in place and does not get into my eyes unlike other lash serums I’ve tried. I just started to use this a few days ago and cannot say as to whether my lashes have grown or not, but I’ll keep you updated! The Lash Primer Perfecter is the first coat I put on in the morning. It has a black color and will tint the lashes and act as a amplifier for the mascara. You could also wear this alone if you like a more natural look and to also tint the bottom lashes. Lastly, I apply two coats of the Lash Impact Ultra in the Brown/Black color. I’ve always found that a brown shade looks more natural. The mascara is creamy and dries fast without any flaking! Yes!! No flaking. I get some nice length to my lashes, which also remain smudge free too.

The Perfect Summer Dress

Blue And White Stripe Dress || Straw Circle Bag || Sunglasses || Pearl And Anchor Bracelet || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Earrings || Blue Pearl Slide Sandal ||

Good morning, friends! This is one dress that I can definitely say is perfect for summer. Not only are the blue and white stripes effortlessly classic, but I actually stayed cool while wearing this in humid weather. It’s on sale now too! I know this will be on re-peat until the end of summer, I’ve already worn it three more times. It’s fits great and is comfortable to wear. I’m also impressed by the quality of the material (lightweight) and how this dress could be worn to work, a weekend BBQ, or to the beach. It works for so many different occasions all while remaining totally chic!

Good morning and happy Monday! I think many can agree that one of the most comfortable things to wear is a t-shirt. Even better, this dress made to feel as if you’re wearing a comfy t-shirt and trust me, it is sooooo comfortable to wear! The ruffles add a nice touch and give the dress a little feminine flair. I also adore the dusty rose shade, which is also perfect for fall. It’s my go-to shade of pink once the leaves start turning. I pulled out my other dusty rose accessories, including these bow back heels that I’m absolutely in love with! I’m such a sucker for bows. They're also very comfortable and run true to size.

Stripes, Stripes, And More Stripes

Similar Striped Top || Striped Skirt || Similar Striped Wedges || Similar Sun Hat || Circle Bag || Hoop Earrings ||

Good morning, friends! I love the Americana nautical feel this outfit has. Maybe even a little dash of Parisian style too! It’s all of the stripes, haha. I’ve been wearing red, white, and blue quite a bit lately. Blame it on the 4th of July, but they’re also a truly classic Summer combo of colors. Stripes will always be one of my favorite prints to wear. They’re a go-to in my wardrobe. I tend to favor a small or medium size stripes and stay away from large or bold ones, though I do have one large stripe top. This is definitely a look to keep in mind when thinking of the summer holidays as well including Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day.

Button Front Print Dress

Blue Print Button Front Dress || Yellow Heeled Sandals || Sunglasses || Wicker Bag || Pearl Bracelet ||

One color combo I cannot get enough of this summer is blue and yellow. I'm absolutely in love with them! This button front dress has beautiful bow ties at the shoulders (adjustable, I re-tied mine to make it tighter), pockets!, and a gorgeous toile print comprised of birds, flamingos, and peacocks. This dress is flawless for summer and has a very easy breezy vibe about it. I paired my yellow twist knot sandals and wicker bag to complete the look. The length is very modest and could be worn to work, possibly with a cardigan if you need to cover your shoulders. The buttons are for decoration only, which I liked. No gaping in between! This is one look I could live in all summer long.

Sensor Mirror Trio

Simple Human Illuminated Mirror c/o || Floral Fleece Robe c/o || Pink Bow Hair Tie ||

Good morning and happy Tuesday! One of my favorite parts about the morning is getting ready for the day. I find it very relaxing to take my time sipping my coffee while I go through my daily routine, which includes doing my makeup. Having good light is essential, especially when applying eyeliner. This illuminated mirror, with three different magnifications (1x, 5x, 10x) gives exceptional detail and allows you to achieve flawless pro-quality makeup application. The mirror has numerous light settings as well with simulated natural sunlight and even a candlelight setting. I really love the built-in motion sensor, which lights the mirror up automatically as you approach it. I personally use the 5x magnification side on a daily basis and love love love the sunlight mode. The light is truly amazing and worth every penny. This mirror is a game changer for makeup application.

Jumpsuit Joy

Burgundy Jumpsuit c/o || Black Jumpsuit c/o || Similar Black Sandals || Similar Burgundy Heels || Similar Gold Clutch || Burgundy Clutch || Similar Pink Sunglasses || Jackie Kennedy Black Sunglasses || Hoop Earrings || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Drop Earrings ||

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July and celebratory weekend. We had fun watching multiple firework shows, swimming at the local pool,  and eating all of the yummy food we possibly could. I love nothing more than some good ol’ patriotic Americana. I made sure to wear my red, white, and blue for the week with some fun Stars and Stripes added in. Those outfits should have been on here earlier, but alas, life happens and they’ll be making an appearance this week instead. Hey, it’s always a good time to wear those colors if you ask me! They fit right in with my nautical love too.

Now, onto today’s look with some fun jumpsuits in two different colors from Chicwish. I typically don’t wear them, but thought I would give them a try. That’s one thing about a fashion blog, it’s fun to go out of your comfort zone every now and then to try something new. I really loved how comfortable these were and how they looked like a dress from certain angles. I tired to photograph these with my legs separated a bit so you could definitely see the pants, which have a very wide leg. While these are for spring and summer, the colors are fantastic for the fall making them great transitioning pieces as well. These have an off the shoulder style, though I wore mine up on my shoulders. The “sleeves” kept falling off of me so up they went, lol. Other than that, they fit perfectly.

Lovely In Swiss Lavender

Design History Swiss Dot Top c/o || LC Lauren Conrad Skirt (Old, Similar) || Lavender Bow Slides || Sunglasses || Lavender Bag ||

Good morning and happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend. Some places near me had even started to do their fireworks display, which is always a treat to see and quite magical. It’s one of my favorite parts about the 4th of July!

This romantic ensemble started with this beautiful Lavender Swiss Dot Top with a subtle bell sleeve. I love a playful sleeve! I went with a monochromatic color scheme and also wanted the outfit to have a flow about it, which I think adds to the romantic vibe. A pleated skirt has a lovely swish movement to it, while the tapered bell sleeve also helps add some movement to the top.

Summer Date Night Look

Design History White Lace Top c/o (Similar) || AG Skinny Jeans || Similar Straw Clutch || Hoop Earrings || Mom Bracelet || Heeled Sandals ||

Good morning and happy Friday! With the weekend ahead of us, I thought it’d be fun to show a casual date night look for summer. It would be a great outfit for a girls night out on the town too! I love how easy going the ensemble is with a flowy lightweight top hat has a stunning lace back, some skinny jeans, and a little pop of color with the shoes. My go-to bag in the summer is typically a straw or wicker one with a roomy clutch being perfect to carry all of your essentials from day to night.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!! We’re supposed to have a pretty decent heat wave coming through. Also, I was able to finally go see Avengers: Inifinity War. OMG, so many people died!! I was kind of blown away thinking, did that all really just happen?! I’m a little late in getting to see it and I didn’t read anything about the movie so it was a total surprise. I’m crossing my fingers for Marvel to pull some movie magic and bring some of the characters back to life.

Can you believe the 4th of July is right around the corner?! It’ll be here in the blink of an eye. It’s one of my favorite holidays to celebrate with all of the Americana, fireworks, warm summer sun, cookouts, s’mores, laughter, and fun. Even if you aren’t celebrating the 4th, these pieces are essential summer classics.

Design History Shirt Dress c/o || Vineyard Vines Hat (Old, Similar) || Sunglasses || Earrings || Pearl Necklace || Rattan Clutch || Similar Red Sandals ||

For my patriotic look above, I went with a classic blue shirt dress with super cute bell sleeves and my ever faithful Vineyard Vines Straw Hat. I pull this hat out every single summer and consider it one of my all time favorite summer accessories. To round off the look, I stayed with the red, white, and blue theme choosing red heeled sand also (a staple!), white sunglasses, and a blue and white ratan frame clutch.

Blue Ruffle Skirt

LC Lauren Conrad Top (Old, Similar) || Blue Ruffle Skirt c/o || Bow Hat || Sunglasses || Wedges || Arc Bag || Pearl Necklace || Pearl Bracelet || Ava’s Watermelon Dress ||

Good morning and welcome to the new week! Lately, I’ve been loving a blue and yellow combo for summer. This outfit in particular, it feels so light and airy with a touch of casual elegance. It also reminds me of Cape Cod. The skirt has a beautiful ruffle dip hem with a light gingham pattern throughout. It fits true to size and the material feels wonderful on.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I went to go see the new Jurassic World movie which was an entertaining delight! Talk about a summer blockbuster. Chris Pratt is always fun to watch too. I also went to go see Solo: A Star Wars Story and that my friends is a must see for any Star Wars fan. The movie had almost a western tone to it within the Star Wars Universe and it definitely worked. I loved Donald Glover as Lando, but felt something was just missing with Alden Ehrenrheic as Han Solo, though he looked the part and still did a good job. The moment when Han and Chewy got to pilot the Millennium Falcon together for the first time, that was magically heartwarming.

I love the mint background with all of the beautiful flowers. The colors just pop! They’re super comfortable to wear and a fun alternative to jeans shorts. I also found them to be true to size. Ava was really getting into the groove with taking some photos too! She kept jumping in front of the camera and posing with me. She’s simply the best :)

Ice Cream Social

Ice Cream Dress c/o || Circle Bag || Sunglasses || Cardigan || Pink Heels || MVMT Watch c/o ||  Mom Bracelet || Pearl And Anchor Bracelet ||

This dress!! Swoon. Is there anything better than ice cream in summer? I think not, haha.  This dress embodies everything fun and sweet that ice cream has to offer. How about the vintage flair too?! I always gravitate towards items that remind me of the 1940s-1960s. Especially the 1950s. I wanted this outfit to have a dash of whimsy, a spoonful of bright color, and a healing cup of cheeriness. We had ice cream the night before at Katie’s Homemade Ice Cream (delish!!) and I instantly fell in love with the location. I knew it would make the perfect backdrop for the dress. The dress fits perfectly (wearing a size small) though I wish the skirt portion had some more flair to it.
