Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July and celebratory weekend. We had fun watching multiple firework shows, swimming at the local pool,  and eating all of the yummy food we possibly could. I love nothing more than some good olโ€™ patriotic Americana. I made sure to wear my red, white, and blue for the week with some fun Stars and Stripes added in. Those outfits should have been on here earlier, but alas, life happens and theyโ€™ll be making an appearance this week instead. Hey, itโ€™s always a good time to wear those colors if you ask me! They fit right in with my nautical love too.

Now, onto todayโ€™s look with some fun jumpsuits in two different colors from Chicwish. I typically donโ€™t wear them, but thought I would give them a try. Thatโ€™s one thing about a fashion blog, itโ€™s fun to go out of your comfort zone every now and then to try something new. I really loved how comfortable these were and how they looked like a dress from certain angles. I tired to photograph these with my legs separated a bit so you could definitely see the pants, which have a very wide leg. While these are for spring and summer, the colors are fantastic for the fall making them great transitioning pieces as well. These have an off the shoulder style, though I wore mine up on my shoulders. The โ€œsleevesโ€ kept falling off of me so up they went, lol. Other than that, they fit perfectly.

One color that is flattering on all skin tones is peach. Besides the delicate lace detailing, it was the color that instantly caught my eye when looking through some jumpsuits. I have to say, I never thought I would be one to like jumpsuits, but they're comfortable and stylish all in one. I've said this before, but they're the dress of the pants world. An all in one outfit. The name of this jumpsuit is Mrs. Bond, which I may add also caught my attention since I absolutely love the Bond movies. I mean, how cool is that?!? I'm wearing an x-small which fit perfectly in the waist, but was a big baggy in the pants. The pants were a bit long on me and I had roll the cuffs under for the shoot. Usually, I would go get them hemmed to skim the top of my shoes. I chose the matchy matchy theme and went with pinks and rose golds to compliment the peachy tone of the jumpsuit.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a beautiful and magical Christmas with their family and friends. It was a bittersweet for us, but we still had a wonderful day celebrating. With Christmas over and New Years Eve on the horizon, I started thinking about outfits that would be fun for ringing in 2017. My first instinct is always a dress. Something that sparkles and shimmers is high on my list, but then I thought about something that is just as feminine and sexy without being over the top. Enter the jumpsuit. When you think about it, its very similar to a dress being an all in one outfit. I love this for a date night out or for a new years eve party. The floral embroidery on the semi-sheer top is so pretty and one of next years big trends. It's already popping up on items from jeans,  to jackets, and bags. The silky woven bottoms feel so comfortable and are a nice alternative to a skinny pant. The fit is true to size.

Happy Friday, loves! Woohoo for the weekend! Speaking of weekends, can you believe that Labor Day weekend is next week?! Seriously, where is the time going? This jumpsuit that i'm wearing would be perfect for the Labor Day holiday whether being spent at the beach or at a backyard bbq, this is sooo comfy and feels silky against the skin. It's actually pretty flowy, but I wanted more definition to my waist so I belted it. The weather has been getting a bit warm again and this felt great to have on in the heat. I also have on another choker, which I wore to a wedding last weekend as well. It's a chic and elegant way to try out the choker trend going on. It's so light weight too, you barely notice that it's even on! This is actually the choker that convinced me to give the trend a try. I was very iffy as to whether or not I'd get one, but this totally changed my mind.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
