Love Is In The Air

Striped Graphic Top || Blush Knit Blazer || Skinny Jeans || Similar Leopard Belt || Blush Tassel Earrings || Blush Glitter Loafers || Pink & Blue Co. Bracelet c/o ||

Good morning and happy Presidents Day! I hope everyone had an amazing Valentines weekend or if you have today off, are enjoying the long weekend. I also wanted to note the passing of an icon, Lee Radziwill. Though never quite reaching the star status of her sister, Jackie Kennedy, she was a true legend in her own right. She was the definition of elegance, class, and had a timeless style that influenced many over the years. R.I.P.

This was one of the outfits I styled for Valentine’s Day and it ended up being the one I wore on the actual day. Though the love filled holiday has passed, I still love this outfit for its cozy vibes and soft color combination. The pop of leopard makes a small but bold statement and the tassel earrings add an element of fun.

Teddy Top

Teddy Top c/o || Skinny Jeans ||  Quilted Field Jacket || Similar Pink Embellished Gloves || Similar Pink Socks || Boots || Similar Kate Spade Bag ||

Good afternoon!  Another top I’ve worn multiple times in the past few weeks is this white teddy top with calico buttons. I love how toasty it keeps me while being incredibly versatile with some cute casual styles such as the skinny jeans and boots I have on here or a pair of white skinny jeans with some loafers or flats. I can picture some blush, rose, white, leopard, blue, or red loafers/flats to mix in some color with the look.

I hope everyone has been staying warm! It was in the 30s this past weekend, which actually felt warm compared to the teens and single digits we’ve been having. We’re supposed to have another snow storm tomorrow followed by a blast of artic air...another polar vortex.

Cozy Weekend

Fleece Top c/o || Gray Skinny Jeans || Glitter Blush Loafers ||

Hello to the weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying theirs so far. I wanted to do a quick post for this beyond cozy fleece top. I’ve been wearing it around the house all week long, especially with the artic air we’ve been having. It does have a crop fit making high waisted pants ideal. I’ve been pairing the top with everything from jeans, to joggers, and sleep pants. To add a bit of glam, I wore these glitter blush loafers that I am absolutely head over heels for! They fit true to size and are even more stunningly gorgeous in person.

Country Weekend

Woolrich Shirt Jac || AG Skinny Jeans|| Woolrich Rose Turtleneck || Tory Burch Riding Boots || Similar Kate Spade Bag || Similar Leopard Belt ||

Good morning, friends! One of my most trusted brands that I wear in the cooler months is Woolrich. It’s a company that originated in my home state of Pennsylvania and one that is synanomous with autumn and winter. A few years ago my dad and I started what is now a yearly tradition of traveling down to Woolrich, PA to visit their store and pick up some new pieces, usually outerwear, for the upcoming fall season. This year was a true treasure find with this shirt jac in rich beautiful vibrant colors. For those not familiar with a shirt jac, it’s a heavier shirt style meant to be worn as a layering piece. It’s perfect for those crisp mornings and nights. It’s not as heavy as a typical jacket and should have a shirt underneath. Typically, a shirt jac is left unbuttoned. It’s been a fan favorite for generations now. My dad loves to tell me about his favorite shirt jac when he was a kid and also how my grandfather had the full traditional hunting outfit in the famous red and black buffalo check pattern. I  paired mine with a dusty rose Turtleneck (my favorite layering price!) and some riding boots for the ultimate casual country weekend outfit.

Black Bow Tie

Bow Tie Sweater || High Rise Skinny Jeans || Vince Camino Bow Flats (Old, Similar) || Tory Burch Swingpack (Old, Similar) || Bow Hair Tie ||

Happy Thursday, friends! Every now and then I like to showcase some more casual looks that you’d find me in while doing chores or running some errands around town. My style tends to err on the dressy side, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see me in a simple sweater and jeans. While this look is casual, it’s still perfectly polished with a cool ease about it. The details of the ensemble, specifically the bows, give this look an extra little something special.

Striped Cardi

Striped Cardi c/o || Swing Camisole || Distressed Skinny Jeans || Similar Leopard Loafers ||Similar Bag || Calico Necklace ||

Good morning! One of my favorite things about Fall is feeling cozy whether I’m wrapped up at home in a blanket or wearing a soft sweater to keep the chill at bay. While I don’t typically wear too many cardigans, they are a great way to layer and this one was too cute to pass up. The colors are gorgeous and it has  a nice weight to it. This will certainly keep you quite warm! It’s best to keep the rest of your look simple when wearing this cardigan since it’s a standout piece.

Wish Upon A Star

Star Sweater || Sweater Blazer || White Jeans || Similar Kate Spade Bag || Similar Gold Heels || Star & Moon Earrings || Star And Moon Necklace || Ava Bracelet (A Gift From My Brother & His Fiancé) ||

Happy Thursday, everyone! Last year star and celestial prints were everywhere and I’m happy to report they’re still going strong! This midnight blue sweater with gold stars is the perfect weight for the in-between season and also for layering when the air turns crisp. The golden stars are sewn into the fabric for a high quality look. I used the stars as inspiration for the details in this look with all gold jewelry and shoes.

I know the old saying of not wearing white after Labor Day, but rules were made to be broken and this one certainly is. White jeans in the fall is one of my favorite looks! You can wear white after summer by simply paying attention to the fabric. White tweed makes sense while white linen does not. We’ve been having some cooler temperatures lately making this sweater blazer an essential. I love the relaxed feel yet tailored look. The best of both worlds!

Color Crushing: Mustard

Mustard Top c/o || Skinny Jeans || Velvet Flats || Karen Walker Sunglasses || Similar Kate Spade Bag || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Earrings || DW Watch c/o ||

Happy Wednesday, friends! As many of you know, my current color crush for summer and  now leading into fall are shades of yellow. For summer I dreamed of all things with a sunshine hue and now for fall it’s mustard. Just looking at the rich happy color puts a smile on my face! This high-low textured top has a nice heavy weight to it. This is a great top to throw on with a pair of jeans or some leggings for a casual comfy look. It’s on sale now for $12 and fits true to size. It’s a nice way to try out the color and won’t break the bank. These velvet flats are another fabulous addition of the sunshine color to my wardrobe. They’re very luxe, fit true to size, and currently 60% off. They work very well to brighten any look!

Olive Bow Skirt

Olive Bow Skirt c/o || Chambray Top || Sandals || Kate Spade Bag (Similar KS Here) || Sunglasses || Jackie Kennedy Royal Egg Bracelet ||

Good morning, friends! While my love for dresses knows no bounds and I do find them to be an easy creation of the perfect outfit, I also have quite an affinity for skirts. Their versatility and creativity make them a fun alternative to the all in one outfit. This olive bow skirt is one of those pieces that captures the feel of fall and seamlessly works with a variety of styles. Imagine the skirt with a black and white striped top, leopard pumps, and a mustard bag. Or how about a creamy white sweater, navy coat and bag, and cognac boots. Even a simple white or black tee with some flats (in a pop of color!) would look great. Also, POCKETS!! Anytime I see pockets on a dress or skirt ~swoon~ I’m sold! I went with a chambray top that is soooo comfy and soft. They are some of the best button down shirts that I own. Also, a cognac bag (my go-to for fall) and some strappy sandals

Your Updated Weekend Look

Pink Blazer || White Button Down || Circle Bag || Blush Bow Flats || Boot Crop Jeans || Pixie Stud Earrings ||

Happy Friday, friends! Did anyone happen to watch the two night ABC special of The Story Of The Royals?? It was SO good!!! I mean, what a riviting emotional rollercoaster. I especially love how they wove pop culture into the story too. I’ve always been fascinated by the Royals and this was truly one of the best documentaries I’ve seen on them. They even had a whole section devoted to JFK and Jackie, which was of course extra special for me. Obviously, the parts with Princess Diana, Kate and Meghan were highlights as well.

I always strive for my weekend looks to have a classic elegant feel to them. Simple and polished with a relaxed feel. I wore this outfit recently when I went to go see The Spy a whole Dumped Me. It was the perfect movie going look. Something I could be comfortable in, while the blazer added extra warmth in case the theater got chilly. An update from my usual skinny jean is this cropped boot cut version. I was hesitant at first, but actually fell in love with them. I would have liked to have gotten a petite size, but these sold out quickly in a sale. I instead opted for the regular length in my normal size. Seeing as how they’re cropped, the regular length fit me like an ankle style.

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

Pink Bow Weekend Style

Pink Bow Top c/o || AG Skinny Jeans (on sale!!) || Pink Embellished Sneakers || Rebecca Minkoff Bag || Mom Bracelet ||

Good morning and happy Friday, everyone! This outfit is something you would find me in on any given weekend whether we’re running errands around town or just having some plain ol’ fun. I love how this tie neck embroidered mesh yoke top elevates the look and adds a beautiful feminine flair. It also comes in two other colors (pink and black) that are equally just as stunning. I also recently picked up these jeans from the nsale, which ends tomorrow, so if you have any items you’ve been thinking about now is the time to get them! These jeans fit true to size and are the best fitting jeans I own, though petite heights may need to cuff them a bit like I did above. The problems of short people, haha.

Be sure to check back in tomorrow for a very special 3rd birthday post for Ava! Along with Ava, Barack Obama and Meghan Markle are also celebrating their birthdays. She’s in good company :)

Summer Date Night Look

Design History White Lace Top c/o (Similar) || AG Skinny Jeans || Similar Straw Clutch || Hoop Earrings || Mom Bracelet || Heeled Sandals ||

Good morning and happy Friday! With the weekend ahead of us, I thought it’d be fun to show a casual date night look for summer. It would be a great outfit for a girls night out on the town too! I love how easy going the ensemble is with a flowy lightweight top hat has a stunning lace back, some skinny jeans, and a little pop of color with the shoes. My go-to bag in the summer is typically a straw or wicker one with a roomy clutch being perfect to carry all of your essentials from day to night.

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!! We’re supposed to have a pretty decent heat wave coming through. Also, I was able to finally go see Avengers: Inifinity War. OMG, so many people died!! I was kind of blown away thinking, did that all really just happen?! I’m a little late in getting to see it and I didn’t read anything about the movie so it was a total surprise. I’m crossing my fingers for Marvel to pull some movie magic and bring some of the characters back to life.

Bamboo Bag Strap

White Lace Top c/o || AG Skinny Jeans || Mint Floral Sandals || Vtthai Straw Bag c/o || Vtthai Bamboo Strap c/o ||

Good morning and happy Thursday! Have you ever wanted to switch up your style, but not spend tons of money in the process? I’m sure this happens to most, especially when the seasons change or a new trend hits the scene. An easy and affordable way to add some pizazz to your wardrobe and give it a breath of fresh air is through accessories! New from Vtthai, this bamboo bag strap let’s you create your own style by matching the straps with any bags. They are created using dyed woven bamboo, which is a traditional craft technique that has been passed down through generations of Thai artisans, and incorporated with genuine leather. The straps have an exquisite design and excellent quality.

I hope everyone has been safe with the torrential rain and all around nasty storms the east coast has been getting hammered with lately. We lucked out with only getting some heavy rain and gusts of wind yesterday, but other areas nearby were getting hit with hail and tornados too. Hopefully we’ll see some sunshine soon, although it looks like a steady storm running its course throughout the weekend.

Good morning and happy Friday! This was a look I wore to celebrate Earth Day last weekend with Ava. We went to a local farm to enjoy the nice weather, see some farm animals, and of course get some ice cream! The line was literally out the door and in the parking lot for some tasty ice cream. Everyone had the same idea as us, haha. We took a walk all around the grounds and found this dreamy little spot back by the stream where the sun was shining through as it was setting. It was so relaxing. Ava was showing me some of her super hero poses and I did some with her! Needless to say we had a blast!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Print Mix // Blue And Yellow

Crop Top c/o || Grid Shorts c/o (Use The Code AmandaZOV20 for 20% off of your order!) || Circle Bag || Sunglasses (Similar) || Rose Gold Metallic Sneakers ||

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and made sure to spend some time outdoors for earth day. Ava and I spent almost the whole weekend outdoors with multiple walks/hikes, spending some time with farm animals, getting ice cream, and planting some flowers. It felt good to breathe in the fresh air and feel the sunshine warming our skin. I dare say we turned a corner with the weather too. Our temperatures were in the high 50s and low 60s and the week ahead is pretty much all mid 50s so fingers crossed. Below I have a photo I took on one of walks with Ava finding some signs of spring poking through!

This look above is all about spring and summer fun in the sun. I have always thought blue and yellow look quite beautiful together and couldn’t resist pairing them for this outfit. While the colors put a smile on my face, I also love the print mixing between the striped top and the grid shorts. Both work well together without being over the top or in your face. Both pieces are true to size. To finish off the outfit, I stayed with the pastel palette, choosing a blush sneaker with rose gold metallic that gives them a little extra pop. These are sooo comfy too and only $39.95. Ive worn them multiple times already, usually when I need to run out the door quick, and couldn’t be happier with them. They look stylish, are affordable, and feel great to walk in. A new staple!

Gingham Bows

Gingham Wrap Top c/o (Use The Code AmandaZOV20 for 20% off of your order!) || Blank NYC Shorts || Similar Circle Bag (Mine Is TJMaxx) || Similar Sunglasses || Pink Slides || Gold Stripe Travel Mug ||

Happy Friday, friends! I wanted to kick off Friday with a casual fun look for the weekend. Gingham is one those prints that just screams spring and summer. I typically see the fan favorite print in either black, blue, or red so I jumped at the chance when I saw this top is pink. How cute is the bow too?! I love how this wrap top creates a nice big bow and makes that the focal point of the look. I’ve also been crazy busy lately and using my travel mug more and more it seems. While I do enjoy my morning tea/coffee out of my vintage tea cups, it does help when we’re on the go to have this beautiful travel mug at my side. The pink gingham top runs true to size. I’m wearing a small for reference.

Good morning, friends!  Talk about an elevated tee! This embroidered star print velvet tee is just that. It is very soft to the touch and looks out of this world, pun intended!, when on. Besides the shinging stars, I’m really loving the slightly high neck this tee has. I’m wearing an XS here, but I would advise to go up one size. The XS fit fine, but I would have liked a little more length and wiggle room to move around. While I wanted to soften the tee up with some blush colors, another way I would style it is with a black circle skirt. I think it would look absolutely smashing!

Happy December 1st and a wonderful Friday morning to you! I wanted to sneak in one more fall related post even though it’s the Christmas season now, especially with it being December already! This look has so much of a New England aura to it with its classic touch and slight preppy feel. You can never go wrong with a chunky sweater to keep you warm and cozy. I love pairing over the knee boots with skirts too. They keep your legs warm when there’s a chill in the air and definitely elongate your legs.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
