Happy Cyber Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. If you were not celebrating Thanksgiving, then I hope you had an amazing weekend! My dad and I took Ava down to see the annual tree lighting in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We lucked out with the weather. It was in the mid 60s during the day and low 50s at night. I could not have been happier about that haha! We enjoyed walking around town and stopping in the stores to browse about with our coffee and latte's in hand. We even got down to the beach to walk and search for some sea shells. The tree lighting was magical with the whole town decorated in twinkling lights while carolers sang the traditional Christmas tunes. I can't wait to share some pictures from it!

Gift Guide Under $50

Happy Friday, friends! I've been searching out all kinds of gifts lately for the approaching holiday season. It will be here before you know it! Thanksgiving is less than one week away now, which means Black Friday is right around the corner! Roots and Wings

Roots and Wings Lullaby Album c/o ||

Today I want to share with you a lullaby album for children with original songs written by Jamie Hilton called Roots and Wings. When I get Ava up in the morning, we like to listen to some music while we play and get ready for the day. I personally love listening to Jamie sing the lullabies with her soft and soothing voice. One of the songs, Butterfly, has a video available on youtube, which you can watch here. It's one of my favorite songs on the album, especially since my mom loved butterflies. The message of the album is to give children the knowledge that they are loved and can be confident in all that life has to offer. I feel so lucky to be able to give Ava this beautiful message through Jamie's music.

Jamie says is best, "The lyrics of these lullabies pack the incorruptibility of God's promises and introduce children to His kind intentions toward them. Blending peaceful melodies, live instrumentation and skillful production, the ROOTS & WINGS lullaby project is meant to build a foundation for littles to know they are thoroughly loved and they can be confident and courageous in life's adventures."

She does have a section where you can donate an album, for the same price of $15,  to a local NICU. A corresponding bedtime story book was written to go along with the music (I love this since we started reading Ava bedtime stories each night) and also children's dress up wings and women's jewelry.

Fashion Blogging Interview

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween weekend. We had a blast dressing Ava up as Batman, or Batgirl in her case, while Justin was the Riddler and I was Catwoman. We also carved her first pumpkin into a cute smiling jack-o-lantern.

Today I'm sharing a podcast interview I did with Dina Marie Joy about fashion blogging, branding, and a little bit of my personal life. I had such a great time talking with her and discussing all the details and work that go into creating a blog post. The interview was done in early October and just posted this past weekend. Fall Favorites

My favorite season of the year is definitely fall. I love feeling cozy wrapped up in a comfy sweater and scarf while enjoying the cool crisp air scented with pumpkin spice, cranberries, and cinnamon. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Mine has been filled with picnics, movies, breakfast dates, and even some personal styling help.
