Fall Favorites

Good morning and happy Monday, everyone! What a fabulous weekend Ava and I had. The weather was spectacular and we got to see so many wonderful friends and family at some pretty fun events!

Over the weekend I was thinking about some of my favorite fall looks from last year and wanted to put this post together as an inspiration now that we’re heading further into the autumn season. All of these looks incorporate a cozy feeling and of course either a pop of leopard, blush tones, my most favorite English tweed blazer ever, and knee high or over the knee boots. I’ve created this list of either the exact items or similar ones to re-create these ensembles. I can’t wait for the leaves to starting popping too! We took a leaf ride over the weekend and some color is starting to show though. It’s quite a delight to see.

The Perfect Gift For Any Mom

Pink & Blue Co Millie Bracelet c/o ||

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! I’ve become quite enchanted with wearing engraved jewelry lately, specifically with Ava’s name on it. It adds a personal touch that is incredibly special and unique to you. Currently, I have a ring with Ava’s name, a bracelet my brother and his fiancé surprised me with that also has Ava’s name, and now this gold bracelet engraved with Ava’s birth information and name from Pink & Blue Co. This is the perfect gift for any mom! I’m able to keep my most precious baby girl with me everywhere I go. The bracelet is a classic timeless piece that goes with any outfit and every occasion. The outside features the date of birth, weight, height, and time of birth. The inside can feature an engraving up to 20 characters. I chose Ava’s name, Ava Marie Lois. I’m over the moon in love with how it turned out! I was pleasently surprised they have petite sizes for the bracelet too. I cannot even begin to tell you how hard it is to find a bracelet that actually fits my tiny wrists. Pink & Blue Co also has necklaces that can be engraved. There are so many beautiful options.

Our Christmas Song List

My Christmas PJ’s (Old) || Ava’s Rudolph PJ’s || Classic Vintage Style Turntable ||

Good morning and happy Thursday, friends! This was such a fun post to put together. Christmas songs are one of the most magical and fun parts of the Christmas season. You only get to listen to them for a short while, though I know some people who listen to them throughout the year, haha. Ava and I listen to them everyday whether we’re at home or in the car, Christmas music is always playing. I created a list that are some of our most favorite Christmas songs. The list would be a mile long if I included all of them! There are the stand by classics, some newer editions, and maybe even some you may not have heard before. We all know Jingle Bells, but have you heard Sinatra’s version? It’s so much fun and the best there is! Never Stop Dreaming

This one is for the dreamers. Last night was the 74th Golden Globes awards show. Did anyone else watch it?? I love awards season. I seriously get as giddy as a school girl watching these shows, haha! There were so many great moments, especially if you love tv and movies and get all of the little inside jokes. Congrats to La La Land for winning all 7 of their nominations. They are now the most awarded film in Golden Globes history! I was clapping so hard. It's exciting when a film genre, movie musicals, that isn't as popular anymore gets all of the awards. Oh my, Emma Stone and Ryan Gossling too. Need I say more?! Both of their acceptance speeches for the movie had me feeling some kind of wonderful. Emma's resonated so strong with me.

I had made my New Years goal earlier in the day when I was thinking of my #glossygoal for their January campaign. I came up with "Never Stop Dreaming." My dad gave me a mug for Christmas with that phrase on it and I kept thinking about it since then. My dad has always been one of my biggest supporters to chase after my dreams and its a goal I want to teach Ava about when she gets older. During Emma's acceptance speech later that night she said, "this is a film for dreamers, and I think that hope and creativity are two of the most important things in the world and that's what this movie is about." So to 2017, I plan to never stop dreaming of all that can be possible in this life. To peruse those dreams and to never give up. To always have hope for a better tomorrow.

Below is a list of all that is included in the January Glossy Box. My favorite is the cream blush! I tried it on as soon as I opened the box. Also, for all the glossy gals out there, Glossy Box is hosting a giveaway of a gold iPad Air to 2 lucky winners! To enter on Instagram, simply write #glossygoals on your January box and then your own personal goal for 2017. Use the hashtag #glossygoals and your all set!

  • Universal Beauty Cosmetics Secret Flush (fave!): This doubles as a lip stain and a cream blush. I love the color and it instantly brightens any dull moment! I'm just one of those people that needs some color on my face or it looks flat. The blush smoothed onto my skin and soaked right in. It was such a breeze to blend in. Definitely a new favorite.

Happy Monday, friends! How was everyone's weekends? If you follow me on instagram, then you saw that I went antiquing with my dad and Ava on Saturday. We had so much fun and even found a few goodies. I'm always on the hunt for vintage tea cups and anything John F. Kennedy. Sometimes, I'll find some old aprons or vintage hats that are still in good condition and scoop those up too. Sunday was the final episode of Downton Abby. It was spectacular and incredibly well done. I am going to miss our Downton parties though!

Now, onto this simple outfit that packs a mighty punch. Saying that this outfit is simple can be a little misleading, but at the most basic, it is a top, jeans, and heels. Where the punch comes into the play is with the details. The vertical stripes and tie neck have a bold, yet feminine flair, while the bright fuchsia pumps brilliantly pop and have fun on trend lace ups. Adding in the leopard clutch throws another print into the mix to spice things up.

Another little detail is the MyIntent bracelet. Mine says "inspire." Big name celebrities such as Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Larry King, Rhinna and Kayne have all been photographed wearing them. Kayne famously wore his on the cover of Time magazine. MyIntent's mission is to be a catalyst for meaningful conversation and energy in the world. I chose my word of intent to be "inspire" since I hope to inspire each and every one of you here on my blog. I started this blog in the hopes of inspiring individuals through fashion and style. The person I hope to inspire most in my life is Ava. As she grows, I want to be able to inspire her to be the best she can be and to enjoy all the beauty life has to offer. If you were to choose one word as a daily reminder of something you want more of in your life or a challenge you want to overcome - what would it be?

Spring Time Wants...

Spring Time Wants- Enchanting Elegance

Does anyone else have cabin fever? I know I sure do. I've been day dreaming about all things spring and cannot wait for the weather to take a turn for the better. Fingers crossed that Phil's prediction was correct haha. Whenever I think of spring, florals and bright colors always come to mind. The rainbow, fringe, and tassel trends are still going strong too. None of these items are over $40 either! Now, that is a major win. There's nothing like looking good while saving some money.

Make sure to check out more items from Shein. They're always updating their stock everyday. I cannot wait to see what gorgeous pieces they get in for the beautiful weather!

Spring Cheat Sheet- Enchanting Elegance

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today I'm partnering with ThredUP to bring you my spring cheat sheet for updating your closet when the warmer weather finally hits. Fingers crossed that it is soon! Would you believe all of these key pieces together cost under $100?! They're name brands too ranging from J.Crew, New York & Co, Steve Madden, H&M, and C.Wonder. I am all about that!

This would be my everyday polished casual look. Spring to me is all about lightening up the colors of my outfits and and layering, which is absolutely key since the temperature changes throughout the day. One of my favorite pieces to throw on is a jean jacket. It's a fun casual piece that matches just about everything in your wardrobe and will keep you warm in the morning and evenings. You can never go wrong with it! Another piece you can never go wrong with is a striped top. Since its spring, I opted for a colorful one in pink. This is such a classic piece that can be worn dressed up or down. You'll grab for it every time. My next item is a white eyelet skirt. You can also choose a pair of white skinnies or shorts if you live in a warmer area. The same idea here goes with the lighter colors and the feeling of being fresh and renewed. Nothing feels or looks fresher than crisp white. The eyelet detail is one that instantly says spring or summer. I love putting on a pair of fun flats when I'm running around or heading to an event that requires a lot of walking. Think an amusement park or taking a trip to New York City, all of which are things I usually do when spring hits! Fuchsia is beautifully bright and instantly puts a smile on my face. It goes with all of springs wonderful blooms of color too. To finish updating your closet for spring, try out a crossbody bag in either a neutral or pop of color. I've really been loving crossbody's lately since I'm using carrying Ava everywhere with me. I need both hands! Below is list of all the key pieces.

Key Pieces For Spring:

1. Jean Jacket (layering)

2. Striped Top (fun color)

3. White skirt (or jeans)

4. Colorful flats

5. Crossbody bag (neutral or pop of color)

It's no secret that I love adding a bit of sparkle to my everyday looks. While I have no problem with it, some may find it hard to add something that is usually worn at night into the day light hours. To start, only have one or two sparkly pieces such as a belt or necklace, but nothing more than that. Anything that sparkles or glitters has a very girly feminine feel to it. Try adding in some masculine pieces like an oxford shirt or a t-shirt. The whole idea is to keep the look grounded. Also, try to stay within the same color family during the day. It has a work appropriate feel, but with a little added jazz. Neutrals also work fabulously well. For my look above I stuck with all neutrals, a button down blouse, and kept the green theme of the skirt in all of my accessories. This green skirt would look great with a blue chambray shirt and black heels.

Pink and Black Lace

Pink and Black Lace- Enchanting Elegance

Happy Tuesday, lovelies! I hope everyone is staying warm! It turned bitter cold here in North Eastern PA yesterday. We even had a sleet storm so I guess the winter weather is truly coming to stay. Counting down the days until Spring haha!

I wanted to take some time to talk about something that quickly became very important to me recently and that is body image. First, I never seem to buy pretty lingerie for myself. I always get the practical stuff. I've been wanting to invest in some beautiful pieces like this pink lace set that will not break the bank. The detail and quality of the pieces are fantastic! The back detailing is what really got me. Originally $49.95, the VIP price is $39.95 and if it's your first time ordering, there is a special $24.95 offer. You cannot beat the under $25 price for a comfortable and complimenting set like this.  I have to say I feel sexy in these and after having a baby, it is pretty darn important to get that sexy back.

I felt this post would be a good one to talk about body images and how we should all feel amazing about who we are. No body shaming allowed! Lauren Conrad recently said that no body shaming words would be allowed on her website. How amazing is that?! Truth be told, I've always felt good about the skin I'm in and have never felt bad with how I looked. Without going into too many details, I was at the end of some body shamming about my boobs, which made me feel so insecure about how they looked. Even worse, it was while I was still breastfeeding, so yes, they looked a bit different depending on what time of day it was. I loved the fact that I was able to provide my little girl with the nutrition she needed. On a side note, I'm still completely amazed by the fact that I created and grew this little human being inside of me. The rude comments were on instagram, and I do understand that these pictures are public, but making fun of a persons body is crossing a line in my book. If you do not like something I'm wearing, that's different. To attack someone about their physical body seems so wrong though. People did come to my defense about recently having a baby and how that changes your body and so on. To those people, thank you! It's important to have these discussions and not let haters bring you down. While my body may look a bit different after giving birth, I'm still completely in awe of it and love every little detail. If anyone ever dealt or is dealing with this, you can always e-mail me at enchantingelegancephotos@gmail.com. Thanks for reading!
