Going Glam

Star Print Tulle Gown c/o || LC Lauren Conrad Heels (Old, Similar Here) || Sunglasses || Baublebar Bracelets c/o || Stella & Dot Ring || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring ||

Good morning and happy Wednesday! Let me start off by saying WOW about this dress (enter the heart eye emoji here.) This dress has a built in bra and shorts underneath the tulle skirt, which is sheer. This dress is an absolute stunner! I actually received a ton of compliments while taking the photos for it. The sheer tulle skirt has little black stars adorning it. Anything with stars or the moon right now is very big and I have to say I couldnโ€™t be happier about it! Iโ€™ve always been drawn to anything with the stars or moon and have some sentimental reasons for loving them too. The dress does fit true to size, though the length may need to be hemmed if youโ€™re on the shorter side like I am (5โ€™2.)

Visions Of Candy Canes

Red Lace Dress c/o || Similar Gold Sequin Heels || Similar Gold Clutch || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || Stella & Dot Ring ||

Good morning, friends! Every year I have a dress that is THE dress of the holiday season for me and this one is it! As soon as I saw it I thought of candy canes with the pretty red and creamy white pattern along the skirt. The top is red lace that gives the dress a very delicate and feminine feel. Iโ€™ve always been drawn to red, especially for Christmas. Every single one of my dresses for my high school dances were red, haha. Iโ€™m wearing an XS and found the dress to fit very true to size. This is one of those looks that just has me swooning every time I see it. Chicwish always has the best dresses, especially the โ€œpromโ€ dress section. Those have always been my favorite. Theyโ€™re basically fit and flare dresses, with a midi skirt length, that have a beautiful pattern on them. Iโ€™ve worn many of them and can never get enough. I paired gold accessories with this look to give it an extra festive feel. You can never go wrong with some sequins during the Christmas season!

That Holiday Feeling

Plaid Top c/o || Forever 21 Skirt (Old, Similar Here) || Plaid Shoes || Melie Bianco Bag (Old, Similar Here) || Stella & Dot Ring || DW Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Cascade Ring || LipSense Lip Color c/o ||

Good morning, friends! This plaid top gives me all the holiday feels! The bright red catches the eye while the plaid sleeves add a beautiful contrast.  Itโ€™s the perfect top for fall and transitioning over to the Christmas season. They say itโ€™s all in the details and I completely agree! The little bow tie gives this top a vintage twist and elevates it to anything but basic. I kept with the plaid theme and chose this midi skirt Iโ€™ve had from Forever 21. Itโ€™s fantastic on those cold days. These plaid shoes finish off the outfit nicely, also having a very chic navy bow on them with little rhinestones. The top runs true to size. Iโ€™m wearing a small and itโ€™s on sale now for $18!

Plaid always has me thinking of fall, but it also translates very well for the holiday season too. A favorite combo of mine, and one that you'll see again soon, is plaid and leopard. They're two prints that work effortlessly well together and look glam while doing it. This dress is perfection for the winter weather with long sleeves and a maxi style skirt. Very twirl worthy! The belt cinches in the waist to create an hourglass look. Without the belt, the dress is quite baggy. I got this leopard coat during the Black Friday sales. Oh my goodness, swoon worthy! It has a stunning red lining and keeps me so warm and toasty. I also like the longer length for skirts or dresses that are equally as long. To compliment the look, I choose red pumps and a green clutch to keep with the festive feeling. If there is a time when green and red work together, it's for the holidays. Otherwise, it can look too much like the holidays.

You many have noticed that I always wear my Jackie Kennedy rings, the unity bands, but I actually have quite a few pieces of the jewelry from her line. It's a line that is reproductions of the actual pieces she wore. I have on a pair of her earrings in this post too. With the movie Jackie out right now, an absolute must see for me, I thought I would make a little comment about the pieces I usually wear. If its an emerald piece, that usually means it was a gift from JFK. His birth stone (May 29th) was emerald and he typically would gift Jackie emeralds to remind her of him. Many of the pieces I have were ones that JFK had given her. That always felt more special to me and of course, I love JFK. The gold unity band I wear was actually given to Jackie by Bobby Kennedy as a thank you gift. The emerald unity band, given by JFK, was for their 10th wedding anniversary. The emerald earrings, which can detach and be worn as studs too, were given to Jackie by JFK for helping him with his presidential campaign. They were part of of three piece set originally.
