I hope everyone has a great time online shopping yesterday! Did anyone watch the 50th anniversary of A Charlie Brown Christmas last night? I watched it with my dad (Ava fell asleep) over at his house with some hot chocolate in hand. Tonight Rudolph is on CBS at 8pm if anyone is interested! I love watching the classic holiday television shows with my family. It's a little tradition we have.

One thing I dislike about the cold weather (among many) is not being able to wear a dress without freezing my little tush off! I adore dresses and how they are basically an outfit onto themselves. They're chic and feminine without trying too hard. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this Shein white dress with long sleeves (win!) and a nice long maxi type style. Even the fabric is a heavy material, which is great for keeping me warm during this holiday season. A bright pop of red with some gold accents makes this a fab holiday party or date night look.

Happy Cyber Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. If you were not celebrating Thanksgiving, then I hope you had an amazing weekend! My dad and I took Ava down to see the annual tree lighting in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. We lucked out with the weather. It was in the mid 60s during the day and low 50s at night. I could not have been happier about that haha! We enjoyed walking around town and stopping in the stores to browse about with our coffee and latte's in hand. We even got down to the beach to walk and search for some sea shells. The tree lighting was magical with the whole town decorated in twinkling lights while carolers sang the traditional Christmas tunes. I can't wait to share some pictures from it!

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I'm so excited that its the day before Thanksgiving and that its supposed to be warming up a bit in time for the holiday! These past few days have been seriously chilly. With the holiday season in full swing now, I'm already pulling out all of cold weather essentials and part outfit looks. I've been on the hunt for a pink coat and absolutely love this wool one. It has pockets and a snap button closure for when you need to bundle up. It's a steal at under $42! Whenever I think of winter or Christmas, the color red always comes to mind. Pairing this pleated red dress, which has a heavy fabric and is lined in silky polka dots, with the pink coat is eye catching and oh so feminine. Let me start off by saying that my house smelled absolutely amazing when I was photographing these candles. Candles are always something I like to use when I want to unwind at night or to make my home feel inviting and cozy. I'm always going through tons of candles too since I burn them whenever I'm working, reading, taking a bath, or having company over. Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Justin and I took Ava to get her photo with Santa Claus. She did so well and only had a pouty face on when sitting with Santa. We were both afraid she might start crying, but she held out haha. I have the image posted below. We also stocked up on some ingredients for Thanksgiving. I cannot believe it's already here! I'm pretty excited for all of the food and family gathering.

Speaking of, this cozy blush pink turtleneck (also comes in white ) is perfect for the holiday. I was snug as a bug and loved that its a little bit over sized. It'll be great for hiding all of the extra food I'm bound to eat for Thanksgiving! The color is beautifully soft and the weight is fantastic for the cold weather. I was able to walk around all day without my coat on. These pom-pom mittens kept my hands nice and toasty too. There is an inner limning to give that extra oomph of warmth. How adorable are the pom-poms?! These would make great gift items for a fashion loving friend. I know I'd definitely love to get them!

Happy Thursday, loves! It's almost the weekend, which I am so excited about. We're supposed to take Ava to get her photo with Santa. We'll see how that goes haha. I cannot wait to dress her up in her Christmas outfit. It was a bit chilly yesterday so I had to pull out my winter coats. Tis that time of year! At least it's not below zero yet (shudders at the thought.) 

My favorite type of jewelry lately has been rose gold. I'm completely obsessed with it! The beautiful pinkish hue compliments any skin tone and reminds me of my favorite blush color. Add a little bit of sparkle to that and you have the perfect piece of jewelry. I'm particularly in love with these rose gold earrings and ring from The Peach Box. I don't know about you, but my bags always seem to be disorganized. I basically toss everything in and then have to rummage around when I need something. Being a mom on the go means I'm always lugging around two bags; my own personal one and of course Ava's diaper bag. Both need to be organized so I can grab what I need at a moments notice. Roots and Wings

Roots and Wings Lullaby Album c/o ||

Today I want to share with you a lullaby album for children with original songs written by Jamie Hilton called Roots and Wings. When I get Ava up in the morning, we like to listen to some music while we play and get ready for the day. I personally love listening to Jamie sing the lullabies with her soft and soothing voice. One of the songs, Butterfly, has a video available on youtube, which you can watch here. It's one of my favorite songs on the album, especially since my mom loved butterflies. The message of the album is to give children the knowledge that they are loved and can be confident in all that life has to offer. I feel so lucky to be able to give Ava this beautiful message through Jamie's music.

Jamie says is best, "The lyrics of these lullabies pack the incorruptibility of God's promises and introduce children to His kind intentions toward them. Blending peaceful melodies, live instrumentation and skillful production, the ROOTS & WINGS lullaby project is meant to build a foundation for littles to know they are thoroughly loved and they can be confident and courageous in life's adventures."

She does have a section where you can donate an album, for the same price of $15,  to a local NICU. A corresponding bedtime story book was written to go along with the music (I love this since we started reading Ava bedtime stories each night) and also children's dress up wings and women's jewelry.

Happy Monday, friend! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. I had the holiday tea with my dad which went splendidly. I always love to see everyone dressed up in their finest with all of the beautiful decorations surrounding me. Did anyone go see Bond? Let me know what you thought below! I do want to take a moment and say how saddened I am over the Paris attacks that happened this past weekend. I only hope the people who lost loved ones can find peace once again. They've certainly been in my thoughts and prayers these past few days. 

When I put this outfit together, I thought how Parisian chic it looked with the white collar and little black dress. It's effortless and put together all in one. The bow detail on the heels add a whimsical feel and the pop of leopard with a red lippy are always in style! I recently got this brown coat and could not be more in love! Even the barista at Starbucks complimented me on it haha! It's soft and a great length for the cooler months. I wore it with a dress, but it would be great with a chambray shirt, black pants, and some black flats or sparkly heels.

Yay! It's finally Friday! My weekend is jam packed yet again. Two exciting events I'll be going to are a holiday tea with my dad and going to see James Bond again with him. When I like a movie, I go to see it more than once! It's been raining non-stop here the past couple of days, but the weekend should be clear. Fingers crossed!

I love how this outfit feels like something Audrey Hepburn would wear, but updated and modernized. The back of this blouse from Humble Chic has the prettiest bow detail that just calls for your hair to be pulled up or off to the side. It needs to be seen! Having a nice little added detail really makes an outfit more unique in my opinion. I always gravitate to the special little "extras" such as bows, sequins, fringe, and so on. I wanted to keep the look extra feminine with all of the bows and a hint of sparkle. With the holidays creeping closer each day, I inevitably add some glitz to all of my looks. Do not be afraid to add a touch of glam to your everyday outfits either. It is something that need not only be for night and is especially perfect during this time of the year. The pearl crystal necklace has a beautiful ladylike feel to it that pulls this whole look together.

Whenever I travel, I always dress for the destination in mind. My dad, Ava, and I all traveled down to Valley Forge this past Friday for a seminar. I always go to the park and explore all the beautiful scenery it has to offer. Knowing that I'll be doing quite a bit of walking, I opted for flat boots that would be practical for the fall weather. There's nothing quite like seeing all of the beautiful leaves together in one place, whether they be still on the trees or blanketing the ground. There was a heavy fog lifting when we arrived that gave a mystical feeling. I'm always drawn to plaid in the fall, or any time of the year really, and wanted to layer it in a cozy glam faux fur vest. I'm been getting a lot of miles out of vests lately, you can never go wrong with them! The weather was cool, but getting warmer in the afternoon when I could simply take off the vest and be comfortable. To add another touch of elegance, I added this pearl crystal statement necklace from Humble Chic. I've been wearing this a lot lately since it goes with everything and adds class to any look. This would be a great necklace for the holidays as either a gift or to add some sparkle to your look!

Happy Tuesday, friends! The weather is starting to get cool again and I'm not sure how I feel about that haha! I was loving the Indian Summer we were having, but alas, it is November and I suppose that means some cool temps. Luckily it hasn't been too bad and I can still get away with wearing a layered look without a coat. When I want that extra bit of warmth and a pulled together look, I reach for one of my vests. They're great to put on top of a t-shirt, button downs, or even a light or chunky sweater. This tee is nice and soft without being too sheer. I'm not a fan of shirts, especially white tees, that are see through. I also love how its longer in the back which is great for leggings. Does anyone else love pockets as much as I do? I realized going through these pictures that Im always putting my hands into my vest pockets. I mean, they're pretty great!

Happy Monday! Being a photographer, I was immediately drawn to this dress the moment I saw it. The peter pan collar and camera print are so charming together along with the fit and flare styling, which in my opinion is always flattering. If I want to have some fun with an outfit, I always grab a printed dress or skirt. There's something quirky and unique about having a print piece and never boring. To keep with the photo exploration theme, I chose these rose gold loafers since I would not be wearing heels while doing a full day of traveling or walking around in the woods. The rose gold is sold out, but silver and black do remain. I always wear these when I want to look sharp while wearing flats.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. Luckily, my family is on the mend from our colds and feeling better. Friday I took Ava down to Valley Forge with my dad. Saturday Justin and I saw the Martian and Sunday we saw Spectre. I know some of you were saying you were going to see Bond as well. What did you think? I personally liked it, but thought it wasn't as good as Skyfall. I'm so conflicted on the ending too. I do not want to spoil the ending for those who have not seen it, but I do not want it to end like that haha.

Happy Friday, friends! We finally made it to the weekend and I could not be any happier! Yesterday, literally everyone in my family got sick, even our cat Chelsea. A wonderful Wednesday to everyone! I hope you have been getting out to enjoy the nice weather that has been occurring these past few days. It literally feels like spring with sunshine, blue skies, and temps in the low 70s. I'm in heaven! If only the good weather would last haha. I've been taking Ava on walks and even got to visit with my brother and have a bon fire last night to catch up on our lives.

It has been well noted that I adore blush and blue tones mixed together. Another color that goes fabulously well with blue? Kelly green. It really pops and mixes nicely with any color in the blue family. If there is one shirt that I have been wearing over and over again, it's this striped turtleneck that is under $17! Just take a look at my instagram and you'll see me wearing it in a few different shots. I love being able to layer it under sweaters or wear it as a stand alone for when the weather is warmer, which thankfully it has been so far this November. Fingers crossed it stays this way for a little bit! I've really been getting into turtlenecks more this season and plan on adding a few more to my closet.

I also wanted to talk about Stiletto Sock. It can be used to store, organize, travel, move, protect, basically anything that will keep your shoes clean and pristine. For me personally, this is a great way to store my shoes while traveling to ensure nothing gets on them. I usually place my shoes on the bottom of my suitcase, but still worry that some dirt that I missed could transfer from my shoe to my clothes. You just never know! This way, being kept in the Stiletto Sock, my shoes and clothes do not have to touch and I can rest easy knowing both will stay clean.
