It’s hard to believe that it’s August already, the dog days of summer, where we clutch on to the lingering last days of carefree bliss and vibrant golden sunshine. The days are even getting a bit shorter now, sadly, BUT summer is not over yet! You can never go wrong with classic stripes, a staple for any closet. Pairing yellow and blue together not only has a nautical feel, but also just makes me smile! There’s a soothing happiness to the color combo reminding me of sunshine, the ocean, and clear blue skies, all of my favorite summer things. Summer, for me, has always equated to nautical style. It’s my foremost favorite style and one that I’ll transition through the different seasons with.
Speaking of different seasons, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has started, for some, with most cardholders being able to shop the sale August 13th, and then the public on August 19th. It’s a great time to stock up on Fall favorites, though I’ll be honest, the sale seems lackluster and underwhelming this year. There are a few good investment pieces, which iI’ll be sharing on Monday. Until then, cheers to the weekend!
