Every now and then, as we head into the late stages of autumn, we’ll get a few beautifully warm days where jackets are no longer needed and only lightweight layers are required to feel comfortable. I love when I can throw on a classic blazer, such as this wool flannel one, to not only complete my look, but also add that dash of polish they’re so famous for. Each piece of this outfit stands as classic items in their own right that can be worn year round, but when layered together, they create one smart and sophisticated look. Another item to point out is how the monochromatic look of the black over the knee boots along with the black skinny jeans give my legs a lengthening effect. Trust me, it’s only the appearance of length, I’m actually pretty short!
