Every season I stock up on some cozy sweaters, but a skirt that's a sweater? Now, that's a different story. There's something kind of magical about being able to wear a skirt when its cold and still be warm! This sweater set is super comfy and I love the pink color. It's somewhere between a blush and a rose. I picked this up in the store, but saw later online that the skirt does come in a petite size, which is what I would have gotten. I'm wearing a regular x-small and its a bit long on me. This should stop just a bit below the knee. #shortpersonproblems. How darling are Ava's little kitten shoes too?! I really wish they made them in adult sizes too haha.

Stripes and Overalls

I have been wanting to get a pair of overalls for some time now and finally chose this pair not too long ago. They're high quality and great for a quick outfit. I love pairing stripes under overalls or even a cream sweater would look fantastic. You can never go wrong with stripes though! They're always tres chic. To give a little bit of warmth I threw on this blanket scarf, which came in the fall edition of the FabFitFun box. Love it! The lace up heels add some glam to this casual look.

Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone enjoyed their fall weekends. We had a fun filled family weekend jam packed with so many wonderful memories. The peak for our leaves in PA was this past weekend and you could definitely see some gorgeous colors in certain spots. I wanted to take full advantage of that so we took a family trip up to a pumpkin farm for Ava to pick out her Halloween pumpkin. I can't wait to decorate it with her. I'm thinking this year instead of making a jack-o-lantern, we might try a glittery one instead. We also took a leaf ride to look at all of the colors and get some pictures.

One of my favorite things about fall clothing is all of the different textures. A fun suede skirt paired with a chiffon blouse and a faux fur jacket instantly feels luxe. The faux fur jacket has a glamorous aura about it and reminds me of the golden age in Hollywood. I adore the softness and how warm it actually is. Not all of my fall/winter jackets keep me warm ironically. Pairing over the knee boots is another great way to wear skirts or dresses once the weather cools and still stay warm. The pair I have on are good for gals with thinner calves. I've always had trouble with boots staying up. They would fall down only after taking a few steps. Talk about frustrating! This pair stayes up pretty well.

Happy Friday, friends! One thing I don't usually talk too much about is beauty. I dabble in it here and there, but I wouldn't say I'm an expert at it. I am a complete beauty junkie though! I love trying out new products or trying to find the perfect shade of lipstick. I can't even tell you how many lipsticks I own or how many you may find in my bag at one moment. I was so intrigued when I heard about Glossybox, the leader in luxury beauty boxes in the U.S. Once a month, you get a beautifully designed box filled with at least 5 deluxe sized beauty products. I mean seriously, the box is so pretty! I took a picture of the inside of the lid of box because I was so impressed. The products in this box were inspired by what insiders use for last minute touch ups at Fashion Week. The theme of the box design was a secret garden inspired by the floral print trends of past and present fashion collections.

The theme could not have been more spot on with the Fashion Weeks going on in September. The box is gorgeous and I'm keeping it to store some pretty goodies in. My inner girly girl was grinning from ear to ear when I opened the box and saw the products inside which included:

  • Sally Hershberger 24K Supreme Stylist Dry Shampoo (Great for giving texture and volume)
  • Sesderma Sensyeses Cleanser & C-VitMoisturizing Serum (Haven't used yet, but excited to)
  • Korres Modern Greek Apothecary Twist Lipstuck (My color was charm. Beautiful!!)
  • Modellauncher Brow Duo Pencil (I have thick brows and this is fabulous for filling them in. Comes with a little brush too!)
  • Vince Camuto Capri Eau De Parfum (Yummiest smelling parfum. Cannot stop smelling it! )

There are four different monthly billing plans you can subscribe to. You can find the information on that here. I have to say I'm officially a Glossie now! Who doesn't love getting some beauty goodies sent to their doorstep every month?!

Blush, Burgundy, and Pearls

Is there anything more classic than a strand of pearls? Images of Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy instantly come to mind. A strand of pearls instantly elevates any outfit to have pure charm and sophistication. This strand is made from simulated pearls that measures about 60 inches in length. There are a variety of ways you can wear it too from knotted, a single, double, or triple strand. I've been completely obsessing over pairing blush and burgundy colors together lately too. I'm sure you've noticed, haha. I love how its a mixture of dark and light with a fresh feminine feel.

Berry Good Cardigan and Dress

Happy Wednesday, friends! Today is a special one since Ava gets to be featured on here with me in akind of mommy and me post. I love dressing her and I up to match in either the colors we wear or the type of clothing we have on like jean jackets or tulle skirts. This dress I have on is from Lauren Conrad's fall runway collection and it is just as dreamy to have on as it looks in the pictures. The burgundy lace with creamy tulle accents are everything I could want in a dress and more. Some dresses just make you feel like a princess and this was one of them. Talk about having a fancy night out with my little bug <3

To match, I dressed Ava up in this berry cardigan from Oliver and Adelaide, a boutique that carries products that are timeless, stylish, and high quality, each with handcrafted charm, eco-responsibility, and one-of-a-kind cute factor. The cardigan has a sweet 1950s feel and is hand knitted in Long Island, New York. The wool is so soft and the colors really pop looking absolutely gorgeous, I cannot help but smile looking at her in these photos. Fall is officially here f with cooler temps in the mornings (in the low 40s) and this cardigan is what I reach for each time to keep her warm and stylish.

Red x White x Black

Windowpane dress (Similar Here) || Windowpane Shirt || Red Jacket || Red Sandals || Freyrs Sunglasses || Black Shoulder Bag || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Unity Band || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o ||

One color combo that will always be effortless and chic is red, white, and black. There's no denying the powerful punch and classic feel it has. The red accents instantly grab your attention and provide that crucial pop. When I saw this dress at Forever 21, I instantly feel in love. It's a good quality piece and has more of a sturdy structure than many other items from there. I bought this in the store and as far as I can tell, it sold out online quickly, though you may still be able to find it in an actual store.

How cute is Ava's little outfit too?! Her top says "Stay Fancy" and I could not agree more =) For anyone that has children with in between sizes, The Children's Place carries them with on trend and chic clothing! Right now Ava could either be in an 18 month or a 12-18 month. Not everyone carries the in between sizes though so it's a score every time I find a store that does.

I was able to go see The Girl On The Train with Emily Blunt and loved it! She was amazing, seriously. I have such a girl crush on her <3 Did anyone hit up some good Columbus Day Sales?

I really love this outfit because its so simply and chic. The jacket finishes the look with a polished feel. You cannot go wrong with army/olive green and cognac. Such a wonderful neutral balance of colors, especially for fall! The criss cross details in the top add a nice and unique touch. I'm wearing an XS in the top.

Classic Black

We'll always have Paris, or at least outfits that remind me of the city of lights! Though I've never been there, I often dream of what a trip to Paris would be like. This jumper dress instantly caught me eye and gave me all the feel good Parisian vibes a girl could want. Something about the black and white with lace details always reminds me of Paris. Tres chic, darling! Did you see the back too?! Oh my goodness, that little bow is too perfect <3

One of my favorite watch companies, Daniel Wellington, just launched their new Classic Black watch with an all black face and either rose gold or silver details. I obviously chose the rose gold and have been wearing it non-stop! It's the perfect addition for fall. The watch is not available until October 10th, but you can get access to the site with the code BREZOVSKY. The code also gives you 15% off of your order. I seriously wear their watches all the time. They're elegantly designed and absolutely timeless.

Dark Floral Dress

Quiz Dark Floral Dress c/o || 'Yeah' Clutch c/o || Rose Gold Heels c/o || Rose Gold Earrings c/o || Celine Sunglasses || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Unity Band ||

This dress is so beautiful for autumn. Wearing dark florals feels fall appropriate and as if you can hold on to summer just a tad bit longer. The off the shoulder bardot style is on trend and has a glam factor in the elegant sweeping neckline. I'm totally in love with the retro vibe this look has. The rose gold heels have me absolutely swooning. Oh, rose gold. I cannot help but have heart eyes for it. The 'YEAH' clutch is so cute too! It throws a fun spin on the outfit and keeps it up to date. I'm wearing a size UK 8 in the dress, but wish it had come one size smaller (UK 6.) It looks like the 8 is the smallest size available, but it was just a bit too loose in the waist.

I was absolutely beaming yesterday taking these photos because the sun had come out. It felt so good to see some sunshine! We've been socked in with so much rain this past week. The battery in my remote for the camera actually died half way through this shoot, #fail, but I was able to use my old technique of just focusing on something by where I'll be standing and then go stand by it. Ugh, I couldn't believe it. The trials of shooting your own photos haha. Speaking of this though, I've been wanting to do a post on shooting your own photos with a remote and tripod, etc. We shall see if that happens =)

Marled Turtleneck // Rainy Days

Hello, friends and happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. We had a rainy one as predicted so this post is pretty appropriate. It had also rained a few of the days we were in Rehoboth. While I'd rather it not rain on vacation, it is nice to have some rainy days at home. That always means cozy cuddle time inside with my little love bug! It allows me to also catch up on any reading, movies, tv shows, or chores that I've fallen behind on. I picked up this top (similar) a few weeks ago in preparation for our trip. I love turtlenecks for layering and could not beat the softness and gray color. This time of the year, the weather is so unpredictable at the beach so I needed to bring items that would be versatile and allow me to layer on or off depending on the temperature. This casual look was great for walking around the town and doing a bit of sight seeing.

White Lace // Two Ways

Happy Friday! One of my favorite things about the beginning of fall is still being able to wear summer pieces with light layering. It's hard to believe that only 1 week ago I was able to wear this dress comfortably and now, back in PA, its cold, windy, and rainy. Yesterday, Ava and I just spent the day cuddling inside watching classic movies and polishing off a whole bag of gold fish. I fell in love with this dress the moment I saw it in the store. The delicate lace mixed with the bell sleeves and open back is so dreamy and whimsical. Plus, it's under $30. To switch to a more fall appropriate look, I added this utility vest, black hat, and swapped out the pink sunnies for rose gold ray bans. The vest is a great piece for layering with effortless style.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! It's supposed to be more of the same weather around here with the cold and rain. Booo. Looks like Ava and I will be catching up on more classic movies and snacks. Not too bad lol. ;)

Little Gray Dress

This flowy marbled swing dress is one of those dresses you can simply throw on with ease and head out the door. It's so comfy and I've been gravitating towards gray colors lately. It's fantastic to pair with olive, burgundy, and blush. Some of my fall favorites! I wore this out for our first night in Rehoboth. It was the first time that I had worn these heels and they do need to be broken in a bit before they feel comfortable. They do fit true to size though. The lace ups are totally eye catching and on trend.

I've got so many photos still to edit from our trip!  I'm thinking of doing a separate post on just the family photos once they're all done. This always happens with my vacation photos. I end up taking so many and then procrastinate on editing them. Does this happen to anyone else with their vacation photos??

The Blue Peter Pan

Hey all! Happy Wednesday. It's no secret that I'm such a sucker for peter pan collars As soon as I see one, I instantly go weak in the knees! This blue dress from Dressfo features a peter pan collar, fit and flare waist, and a subtle floral pattern running vertically along the chest. I'm wearing a size small and find it to be true to size. It's just slightly tight in the arms, but nothing bad. The blue color is so striking and pairs wonderfully with burgundy for the fall. This dress is under $30 making it a fantastic deal for the amount of wear you can get out of it. I was even a bit warm while wearing it during the day so there's no doubt it'll keep you toasty. The day started started out being cooler and turned warm once the sun showed up later in the afternoon. That's fall weather for you!

Osea Skin Care

Skincare all Osea c/o: Ocean Cleansing Mudd || Essential Corrective Complex || Blemish Balm (moisturizer) || Ocean Cleansing Milk (can be used to dilute the mudd if its too strong)

Outfit: Plaid Button Down || AG Skinny Jeans || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o || Humble Chic Rose Gold Ear Crawlers c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Unity Band ||

One thing I'm very passionate about is skincare, especially since I've struggled with it since my early teens. I have very acne prone skin that I've concluded is due to hormones, aka that time of the month. Since I cannot control that, I focus on what I eat and put on my skin. Now, when I started using Osea, fabulous product by the way, I had a minimal breakout. I took some photos each week as soon as I woke up in the morning. The weekly photos above are from my iphone, completely untouched, and I'm not wearing any makeup. I've had far worse breakouts before, to the point where you could barely see any skin so please do not think I'm complaining about how my skin looked in the before weekly photos. I've had three horrible breakout points in my life and I'm talking about the times where acne dominated my face and you could barely see skin. That's how bad it was. Two times were when I stopped using Proactiv and the last when I was in my first trimester of pregnancy. I'm always trying to find that perfect product so I'm constantly on the look out for new skin care items.

I first heard of Osea when I received my Fab Fit Fun summer box. The Atmospheric Protection Cream was included and I could not get enough of it. I actually would mix it with my foundation to create a beauty balm and add extra moisturizer into my routine. Once I saw they had other products specifically for acne/oily skin, I knew I had to try them, plus the line is made with natural ingredients.

I started using the Cleansing Mudd in the morning and night to remove my makeup and sweep away any excess oil. I would warn to be careful around the eyes since this does have a tingly feeling from the tea tree and peppermint oils. The tingly feeling is what I loved most about the cleanser! My skin felt so clean and did not feel tight, which I often find is a problem with cleansers. It does not lather up, but rather stays more liquid. The Cleansing Milk was included to dilute the Mudd in case I felt it was too strong, however I did not find a need to use it. How it works from the Osea website, "Macrocystis, Laminaria and Fucus are mineral-rich seaweeds with trace elements that smooth and hydrate the skin. Natural fruit acids exfoliate and deliver nutrition to the pores, improving skin tone and brightness. Anti-bacterial Tea Tree Oil deeply purifies, promotes a healthy pH balance, prevents blemishes, and enhances skin's appearance."

I then used the Essential Corrective Complex after the Mudd Cleanser. This is a small glass container with a roller ball. I do wish this came in a bigger size since I used it all over my face instead of as a spot treatment. For me, I need to prevent breakouts from happening instead of treating when they do come out. This oil feels so good going on and again, does not dry out my skin at all. I love this stuff! As you can see from the photos, I used a pretty good amount of it in one month. This really helped clear out the acne that I had. From the Osea website, "A pure blend of botanical and essential oils, this non-drying acne treatment rapidly heals blemishes, regulates and calms sebaceous glands and prevents scarring. Contains Tea Tree, White Thyme and Juniper which all have powerful natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties."

Finally, I finished up my routine with the Blemish Balm, a moisturizer that has, "A proprietary base of three seaweeds combined with a unique blend of Cypress, Juniper, and Rosemary essential oils detoxifies, reduces inflammation, regulates sebum production, heals and tones." This is very light weight and absorbs instantly into the skin. This is a great option for the types of skin that cannot handle a heavier cream moisturizer.

My final verdict after using these products for one month is that they DO work. I did have another breakout at the end of the month, but it was smaller and did not last as long as they typically do. Hey, I'll take a less severe breakout any day of they week!

Pink Lace Dress

Pink Lace Dress || Keds Sneaks || Pink Sunglasses || Mini Burgundy Saddle Bag || Daniel Wellington Watch c/o || Humble Chic Earrings c/o || Jackie Kennedy Unity Band || Jackie Kennedy Emerald Unity Band ||

Happy Monday! This past week my family and I had our annual family vacation in Rehoboth Beach, which was much needed if I do say so myself. We all had a great time and felt so thankful to be able to spend some quality time together. We had just about every type of weather you can think of for the fall, but honestly I really enjoyed that! Some days were sunny and hot, some were cloudy and cool, some were windy, and some were rainy. There was very limited wifi where we stayed so I wasn't able to use my laptop. It was nice to unplug for a bit and yet still have a little bit of access to what was going on in the world. Ava did absolutely amazing too! She really is a trooper on all of my trips. Traveling with kids is not the most relaxing thing in the world, but it does bring so much joy to watch them having fun and experience all of these new things with you.

On one of the hot days I was able to pull out this pink lace dress. It fits my body incredibly well (wearing a small) and has the prettiest crochet lace details and cut out in the back. How gorgeous is the eyelash trim on the bottom hem too?! Obviously, I adore the blush color. Even though its fall now where burgundy and olive reign supreme, I still love to wear colors that would be considered more for spring and summer. Think a pink sweater or coat that will look just as chic in the fall or winter and let you stand out from a crowd of darker hues.

Happy Fri-yay! This week has honestly been such a whirlwind. A little r&r is an absolute must this weekend! I actually wore this look last weekend while I was downtown getting some errands done and of course grabbing a pumpkin spice latte =) They are literally fall in a cup <3 First off, I have been obsessing over all things burgundy lately. I cannot seem to get enough! This top not only is my current color crush, but also has the cutest cutouts along the sleeve, which gives is a unique spin. Plus, it's only $8.99! Yesterday I mentioned how I also got some black sunnies recently and these are one of the pairs . I love the oversized frame, hello Jackie O!

This dress is so cute and comfy to wear! I love the olive green color, especially for the fall. The material is silky and feels great against my skin. It is a longer length with a side split that buttons up if you wish, which I did. This dress does come with an olive green tie at the waist as well, but I decided to add my own belt to customize the look. That's what's great about this dress, you can style it so many different ways! Dress it up with some heels or down with some booties or flats. Endless possibilities. These sunnies from Freyrs are too fab! I'm dying over the gold rims and pink mirrored lenses. I did end up getting some black sunnies from Freyrs too because I feel like I have so many pink ones, but you can never have enough pink right?!

Can we all take a moment to look at my cutie little Rockette too?! Look at Ava do her kick haha. Also, her shoes are little cats. Enter the heart eye emoji here =) <3
