Good morning and happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Honestly, mine started off being very stressful, but thankfully my family stepped in and all of us ended up having a terrific time together. A few highlights were some local festivities including a peach festival and an arts/craftshow at the local penn state campus. 

This pearl embellished dress from Chicwish is the embodiment of old Hollywood glamour. I wanted the look to have a retro glam feel with pearl jewelry, warm golden accessories, and a simple twisted roll up-do. I love the simple elegance of the whole ensemble. Classic, understated, and a total showstopper. This dress got quite a few complements while I was out as well! The dress runs true to size.

Hello, friends! Today is all about "going out" style with this gorgeous cocktail dress from Julie Brown NYC. I adore the gold foil print! It instantly caught my eye and shimmers in the prettiest way when the light catches it. I received many compliments while out shooting it too. To me, gold is one of those colors you cannot go wrong with. It warms up your complexion and as a metallic color, matches just about anything paired up with it. If I could only choose one color to have as my cocktail dress, gold would be it.

Happy Tuesday, friends! As you may know, I am a bit obsessed with bows. Any time I see one, I instantly start to swoon a bit and dream of all things girly. This beautiful red satin dress is no exception to that rule! Does anyone else start planning for the holiday season around now? I am already starting to think about it and what I want to wear to certain events. This darling dress is not only great for dinner and drinks, but also fantastic for a holiday party! I plan on wearing this to Justin's work Christmas party. I always love to pair gold accessories with my holiday outfits too, or any outfit for that matter.
