Teddy Top c/o || Skinny Jeans ||  Quilted Field Jacket || Similar Pink Embellished Gloves || Similar Pink Socks || Boots || Similar Kate Spade Bag ||

Good afternoon!  Another top I’ve worn multiple times in the past few weeks is this white teddy top with calico buttons. I love how toasty it keeps me while being incredibly versatile with some cute casual styles such as the skinny jeans and boots I have on here or a pair of white skinny jeans with some loafers or flats. I can picture some blush, rose, white, leopard, blue, or red loafers/flats to mix in some color with the look.

I hope everyone has been staying warm! It was in the 30s this past weekend, which actually felt warm compared to the teens and single digits we’ve been having. We’re supposed to have another snow storm tomorrow followed by a blast of artic air...another polar vortex.

Hello to the weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying theirs so far. I wanted to do a quick post for this beyond cozy fleece top. I’ve been wearing it around the house all week long, especially with the artic air we’ve been having. It does have a crop fit making high waisted pants ideal. I’ve been pairing the top with everything from jeans, to joggers, and sleep pants. To add a bit of glam, I wore these glitter blush loafers that I am absolutely head over heels for! They fit true to size and are even more stunningly gorgeous in person.

I honestly do not wear too much black, but love how this particular dress mixes in beautiful pink flowers to sweeten the look. The long sleeves have a little bow cinching the slight flare at the end. The neckline has some pretty ruffles as well. The dress comes with a detachable belt. There’s so many gorgeous little details that add up to one knockout piece!

Good morning, friends! January’s box of beauty goodies is all about allowing your radiance to shine and saying goodbye to any self-doubt. I am all about that! Confidence is contagious and one of the best ways to feel great about who you are.

Inside this Glossybox, there are products from brands that strive to enhance your beauty, not transform you into someone you’re not. Included are:

Sleek Makeup Highlighter Palette: This is a game changer! I use this highlighter each morning and love the radiant results. It contains two baked powders, one cream formula, and one silky shimmer. The five shades are crafted to match each skin tone.

Avant Skincare Deluxe Hyaluronic Acid Vivifying Face & Eye Night Cream: This anti-aging moisturizer  deeply nourishes and improves dullness with a powerful combination of hyaluronic acid, maris Aqua, and vitamin B3.

Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment: I haven’t used this yet, but I do use an adapalene treatment for acne and boy let me tell you, it’s the only thing that works for me. This one is great since you don’t need a prescription, which mine is.

Zea Beauty Wipes: I’ve used theses few times and love how gentle, yet effective they are. Infised with rose hip essential oil, skin gets a powerful dose of antioxidants and vitamins, leaving you feeling radiant.

Kocostar Lemon Slice Mask: I used this last night and found it very refreshing, especially with the light lemon scent. It’s a mask, but not in the traditional sheet mask sense. It’s actual little “slices” or circles that look like lemons. Each slice is infused with nutrients like eucalyptus tree to deliver intense, yet gentle, buriahment.

2019 Reads

Pink Sweater c/o || Skinny Jeans || Glitter Slippers ||

Good morning friends and happy Tuesday!  One of my most favorite things to do is to open up a good book and dive into a new adventure. I didn’t realize how many books I owned until I moved either. Let’s just say it’s quite a bit. I own many biographies of my favorite people or stories about my favorite movies and television shows. My kindle app is also filled with stories ranging from romantic to sic-fy and everything in between. I read 55 books alone on my kindle app and countless more in my physical library.

Now that I have some down time again, I’m getting back into the books I had started before moving. Currently, I’m reading JFK and the Masculine Mystique by Steven Watts along with The Fabulous Bouvier Sisters by Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger. I just finished Reese Witherspoon’s, Whiskey In A Teacup, which was beyond darling! I cannot wait to try some of the southern recipes she features as well.

These are the highly anticipated books for 2019 that I’m anxiously awaiting to dive into:

IMG_7559.JPG

A charming romantic comedy, 99 Percent Mine tells the story of Darcy Barrett, a woman who met her dream man when she was eight years old and knows no one else will ever live up to him. The only catch? Tom is her brother’s best friend making him off-limits....

IMG_7560.JPG

The Lost Girls Of Paris is an emeltional story about friendship and bravery among a group of female spies based on amazing true events set in World War II.

IMG_7561.JPG

Fixie Farr is always fixing things for everyone else, but a chance encounter with a handsome stranger leads her on a path to taking charge of her life — and maybe finding true love along the way.

IMG_7562.JPG

The Huntress centers on a lethal Nazi villainess set in World War II with realistic characters and a truly compelling story making this the perfect book for readers who adore historical fiction.

IMG_7563.JPG

The author of Eat, Pray, Love is back with a love story set in the glamorous world of the New York City theater scene in the 1940s. Vivian Morris, now 95 years old, looks back on her life filled with adventure, scandal, and heartbreak.

IMG_7564.JPG

I’m the most excited for the release of this book. I was completely enchanted with The Night Circus and know this one will be worth the wait. A graduate student, Zachary, finds a mysterious book hidden in the library that leads to a series of clues that sweeps him away on a magical adventure.

One way for me to continue to wear dresses in the good ol’ wintertime is with a sweater dress. They’re an essential item! This, oh so lovely dusty rose shade from Chicwish, manages to skim all of my curves in just the right way while remaining stretchy and comfy to wear.

Happy Thursday, everyone! When in doubt, think pink! It’s often hard to feel inspired during the long winter months. The cold and dreariness start to sink in along with the never ending snow, which we are supposed to get a good deal of this weekend. My solution has always been to brighten up my wardrobe with fun colors and prints that make me smile. For me, that color is pink. It instantly puts a smile on my face and joy in my heart. This oversized sweater and plaid wool skirt from Chicwish do just the trick to not only keep me cozy and warm, but to add a good dose of happiness to my day. Both pieces make excellent choices for Valentine’s Day too!

Good morning and happy Wednesday!  One of my favorite ways to relax at night is by doing my nails. My polish usually ends up chipping within a day or two or I end up smudging the paint while in the process of drying.

Enter the Sensationail Express Gel Kit. The application is beyond easy and the drying time only takes 30 seconds. To start, you buff and shape your nail to your desired shape and length. Next, use a nail polish remover to ensure that there is no left over dirt or oil on the nail. After shaking the Express Gel Nail bottle vigorously, apply the color of your choice in a thin layer. Cap the edges of your nail tips and remove any gel from the cuticles abs sidewalls. Finally, place your hand in the LED lamp for 30 seconds and remove hand once the lamp turns off.

Good morning and happy new year!! It’s technically already one week into the new year, but this is my first time posting here in 2019 so cheers to all that new year has to offer. Some other big news, and the reason I’ve been a bit MIA throughout December, is that Ava and I moved! We are now officially home owners and beyond excited and thankful for this blessing.

You can never go wrong with a simple jersey dress that is not only chic, but also one of the most comfortable materials to wear. To make this cold weather appropriate, I added a turtleneck sweater underneath. The black accessories balance the cheetah print out nicely. I added a bit of dazzle with the shoes and clutch having sequins because, why not?!

As I always say, it’s all in the details and the details on this particular dress exceed expection. The ever flattering fit-and-flare style will always be my favorite and gives a little nod to the golden age of the 1950s. The dress does have horizontal black lines, but they blend in rather well and from a distance, you can barely see them. They give the dress a demential feel. The sleeves are a sheer chiffon with pretty pink beading and a chrochet tie.

Good morning, friends! As you know, mommy and me posts are my absolute favorite here on Enchanting Elegance. I get a big thrill each time I’m able to feature one. I’m particularly fond of this one because  of its nautical theme, which is very close to both my and Ava’s hearts. Come sail away with us! Both the sweater and sweater dress feature a wheel motif on a hydrangea blue background. I love being able to wear this sweater with a jacket now in winter, but I can also imagine wearing it with some jeans shorts and flats or wedges in the summer too. It’s perfect for those cool summer nights. This is how you do nautical year round! Both fit true to size. I’m wearing an XS and Ava is in a size 4.

I felt warm and toasty all weekend long while wearing this. I also thought I’d mention how the pockets are nice and roomy. Good morning and happy Monday, friends! One of my favorite colors to wear in winter is a bright pop of red. It’s stands out particularly well against a snowy white background and brings all the happy cheeriness along with it. This coat from Julie Brown NYC is the definition of stunning. Not only is it a gorgeous shade of red, but the arms have little bows with pearl and rhinestone buttons as well as the from buttons being the same. The sleeve length is cut at 3/4 reminding me fondly of coats worn in the 1960s with long leather gloves.

I hope everyone had had a great weekend. Mine was amazing and quite a memorable one. Also, I’m sure most know by now that President George H. W. Bush had passed away. He was the first president that so remember seeing. My heartfelt condolences go out to the Bush family and their friends. From all accounts that I have heard, he truly was a great man, served his country well, and was devoted to his family. RIP 41.

That’s what wearing this teddy bear jacket feels like and just like it’s name, it’s as soft and cute as any teddy bear! Fun fact, President Teddy Roosevelt inspired a candy store owner to start selling toy bears called teddy bears. The jacket, in its traditional color, fits true to size. There are also nine other colors available and at under $40, this is one steal you cannot miss. As Ava and I were heading home from some errands and photographing this jacket, a snow storm had started taking many by surprise. While the storm was predicted, the amount that fell and how quickly it fell, were not. We got about 10-12 inches! We quickly changed into some snow appropriate gear and headed back outdoors for some fun. I was warm and toasty the entire time.

Good morning and happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend filled with good food, friends and family, football, shopping, and maybe even putting up your Christmas decorations. Ava and I went to go see The Grinch again over the weekend and I have to say, I enjoy the movie just as much as she does! They did an awesome job of re-telling the story. We also started watching some Christmas shows starting with Frosty on tv, The Polar Express, and A Christmas Story. Don’t forget that Ruldolph is on tomorrow night at 8pm on CBS.

On our last day at Valley Forge, Ava and I took one last drive around the park and decided to take a little walk before heading home. We stopped at a popular part of the park we’d never been to before. I’d always seen quite a bit of cars parked at this location and I eventually found out why. It was a stunning crisp morning with the sun offering endless amounts of light in the sapphire blue sky. We walked on a path that eventually led to an old beautiful estate that was picture perfect. On the walk we had passed some barns, old homes, fields, and a stream that were all amazing photographic backdrops. I passed three other photographers doing family portraits while there! It was the end to another fantastic trip to my favorite spot in PA.
