A Vibrant Match

Julie Brown NYC Dress c/o || Dress For Cocktails Bag c/o || Sunglasses || Slides || Similar Jean Jacket || KEP Earrings c/o || DW Watch c/o ||

Good morning and happy Tuesday, friends! I don’t know what it is, but I adore matching. I love matching my accessories to my outfit and I especially love matching my outfits to Ava’s. Those are my favorite! I was thrilled when Julie Brown NYC told me they were doing a matching collaboration with Dress For Cocktails. I could not wait to see what they had in store. The dress is so vibrant and stands out in a crowd. It also has pockets, which, let’s be honest, is one of the best features for a dress to have! I’m wearing a size 2, but I should have gone with the 0. The 2 felt a little loose. Now, the bags (tote and clutch) have a removable magnetic bow, which matches the print of the dress. There are also a few different colored bows available to mix and match. I told Ava the little matching clutch was hers to carry around and she loved it. She also really liked the removable bows. She was constantly switching them around. It’s a neat idea!

Happy Birthday To Us!

Hello friends and happy Tuesday! Today is a very special day for me, my 30th birthday! It’s hard to believe I’m in my 30s now, haha, but I’m at a good place with it and excited to see all that my 30s have to offer. If you know me or have been following along, then you know today is also JFK’s birthday. It is the coolest thing for me to share my birthday with him! The best gift my mom could have ever given me. He would have been 101 today. I treated myself to these cute Cape Cod turtles the other day. They were absolutely delicious and even better with my favorite place on earth on them.

The best part, pretty much this entire outfit is 20% off today only! The store is having a Memorial Day sale with almost everything at 20% off and sale items an additional 20% off at checkout. Nothing like a good sale. How cute are these statement earrings too?! I love how they have a spring and summer vibe all wrapped into one. These blush heels, you know my affinity for blush!, are soooo comfortable to wear and feature a beautiful scallop trim. They fit true to size.

VIIcode Eye Mask

VIIcode Eye Mask c/o || PJ Set c/o ||

Good morning, friends! Today I’m excited to talk about a revolutionary eye mask system from VIIcode. The eye masks are soft pads with a gel-like material that feels amazing to put on. A fun tip would be to put the pads in the refrigerator before applying them at night. To receive maximum benefits from the eye mask, it is recommended to wear them for eight hours at night. One box comes with six pads, which can be worn two or three times per week giving about two or three weeks worth of treatment. A full treatment would be three boxes total. Now, onto the benefits! Being a busy mom, I typically have under eye circles that I need to cover up with makeup in the morning. Depending on the weather, the delicate skin around my eyes can feel a bit dry as well. The eye pads are so easy to put on. You just peel back the plastic, stick the gel side against your skin, and go to sleep! When I would take them off in the morning, my skin looked refreshed and felt soft. The dryness was gone and my delicate eye skin felt moisturized. My eyes didn’t look tired anymore, but looked revitalized. I really love how these masks work while I’m sleeping too. A totally no fuss system that delivers results with powerful antioxidants. Some of the key ingredients are, Vitmin E, Sodium PCA, Sodiun Hyaluranate, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadneis, and Algin. I was also impressed with the feel of the gel pads. I was worried they wouldn’t ld stay on or would fall off while I slept, but that did not happen at all. The gel had a nice cooling feeling (fantastic in the warm summer months!) and they stayed put all night long. No slipping or moving around. If you’re under eye area needs a little love, definitely give these gel eye masks a try!

My Mother’s Day Weekend

Good morning and happy Wednesday friends! Today I’m happy to be able to share a little glimpse into the fun filled history adventure of my Mother’s Day weekend with you. I finally finished editing all of the photos and got to relive the memories while doing so. I was fortunate enough to spend it in my favorite city filled with history, culture, and excitement. Ava’s always learning and soaking up information. I find it important to teach her as much history as I can about each place we visit. She loves it and can tell you quite a bit about American history! A current favorite of hers right now is Abraham Lincoln. She was completely taken by him and wanted to go talk to him, which we did multiple times at the memorial. One of my favorite pictures is actually her gazing upon Lincoln’s portrait at the National Portrait Gallery. She looks so small standing next to the painting and is in a state of awe. Coming from a history loving family like mine, it’s pretty amazing to see. I kept telling Ava all weekend how lucky I am to have her and thank you for making me your mommy. She gave me the most beautiful gift of all. Being her mommy.

Floral Fever

Ruffle Floral Dress c/o (Use The Code AmandaZOV20 for 20% off of your order!) || Straw Circle Bag || Jack Rogers Sandals || Sunglasses || KEP Earrings c/o || DW Watch c/o ||

Hello all and happy Monday!  I am currently writing this from outside as it is such a gorgeous day! We had rain for about 75 perfectof the weekend so it truly feels like a breath of fresh air. Speaking of the weekend, did anyone watch the Royal Wedding?? I didn’t see it live, but as soon as I woke up, I watched all of the highlights and read up on all of the details. It looked like a dream wedding and Harry and Meghan were so happy! I couldn’t be happier for them. I also went to go see Deadpool 2 and loved it. Ryan Reynolds is perfect in the part and oh so halarious. If you liked the first Deadpool, then you are sure to pleased with this one as well.

I’ve always been a huge fan of floral prints and wear them year long no matter the season. When the seasons do change into fall and winter, I change over from light brights to dark florals in order to keep rocking my favorite print. They’re also my favorite backdrop to photograph against. The song lyric, “these are a few of my favorite things” comes to mind when thinking of this dress! The eye catching white flowers set against a beautiful blush background make for one stunning combo. The ruffle hem adds some feminine flair while the ruffle cut out in the back gives this dress a fun sexy twist that still feels elegant! On a side note, does anyone know the name of the white flowering trees I’m standing by? They smelled AMAZING! Possibly jasmine? No one knew for sure, but they were increadible.

Good morning and happy Thursday! Have you ever wanted to switch up your style, but not spend tons of money in the process? I’m sure this happens to most, especially when the seasons change or a new trend hits the scene. An easy and affordable way to add some pizazz to your wardrobe and give it a breath of fresh air is through accessories! New from Vtthai, this bamboo bag strap let’s you create your own style by matching the straps with any bags. They are created using dyed woven bamboo, which is a traditional craft technique that has been passed down through generations of Thai artisans, and incorporated with genuine leather. The straps have an exquisite design and excellent quality.

I hope everyone has been safe with the torrential rain and all around nasty storms the east coast has been getting hammered with lately. We lucked out with only getting some heavy rain and gusts of wind yesterday, but other areas nearby were getting hit with hail and tornados too. Hopefully we’ll see some sunshine soon, although it looks like a steady storm running its course throughout the weekend.

Sea of Lavender

Tignanello Circle Bag c/o || LC Lauren Conrad Dress (Old, Similar) || LC Lauren Conrad Heels (Old, Similar) ||

Good morning, friends! What a wirl wind the past few days have been! I’m floating on cloud nine just thinking about all of the adventures we just had, but more about that later. I hope everyone had a lovely mother’s day too. I kept telling Ava, thank you so much for making me your mommy. You gave me the greatest gift of all.

I’m not exactly sure what type of flowers these are, but they create the most beautiful sea of purple down along the river walk. It’s a gorgeous spot, especially with the sun setting. Ava bug was my little helper carrying around this Tignanello bag for me. She knows a good circle bag when she sees one! She always says, “mommy loves circle bags.” Haha, she is beyond adorable. Tignanello is a brand I’ve come to know in recent years and appreciate their quality and eye for classic styling and functionality. Their design team draws inspiration from the aesthetic of traditional Italian craftsmanship. One of the best places to shop the handbags is on QVC. I believe you can find some on Amazon too, but QVC is their main retailer. My mom would have loved that, she was a big QVC fan!

Matching Floral

Good morning, friends! There’s nothing I love more than a beautiful dress. If I had to choose one item to wear for the rest of my life, it would be that. As soon as my eyes spotted this chiffon dress, I was in love! The vibrant pink and mint floral pattern had my heart swooning along with the flirty ruffles and figure flattering tie waist. The subtle breeze would pick up every now and then and allow the dress to flow beautifully. To match in the same lively floral print is this turnlock clutch. I’ve always been a big fan of matching as gives a sense of vintage timelessness and having a competed look. This bag is on sale now and under $20!

Weekend Update

Good morning friends and welcome to Wednesday! This post is all about our adventures celebrating May The Fourth Cinco De Derby weekend. Haha, it truly was an amazing time with many many memories that we’ll cherish forever.

To start with, Friday was Star Wars day, known as May The Fourth Be With You. Ava was thrilled! My brother and I took her to her first baseball game where they were celebrating Star Wars with characters walking around, sounds and video from the movies, boat loads of merchandise, and changing out the opponents team photos with Star Wars villains while our players photos had light sabers for bats. The weather was phenomenal too adding the overall greatness of the night. Even the Rail Riders mascot Champ came over and gave Ava and big high five!

Next came my brother’s fiancé’s graduation from Penn State, my almamater! It was so special to be back and get to share this new chapter in her life with her family. Ava and I dressed up in our blue and white dresses to match the PSU colors. As soon as the lion saw her he came right over to snap a photo. We took some photos together after the ceremony, had lunch tnd then some ice cream before everyone needed a nap lol. Later on, we had a little Cinco De Mayo party followed by a bonfire at my brothers. We didn’t watch the Kentucky Derby, but we were keeping our ears open as to how the race went. So many celebrations in one day!

Our last big event of the weekend was a trip furniture shopping with my brother and his fiancé. I also have to note the photo of Ava in her car seat, my brother took that! It turned out being one of my favorite photos from the weekend. He really knows how to make her smile.

Gingham Ruffle Skirt

Gingham Ruffle Skirt c/o (Use The Code AmandaZOV20 for 20% off of your order! || Similar Body Suit || Gingham Bag || Sunglasses || Pearl Slides || Jackie Kennedy Earrings || Bow Hair Tie ||

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Ours was a blast, but I don’t want to get too into it just yet since I have a post covering our special weekend coming up. Let’s just say there was lots of celebrations going on!

Last week I stumbled upon this gorgeous magnolia tree with its pretty pink blossoms that perfumed the air beautifully. If you got close enough to the tree, it was like gazing upon a sea of endless pink blossoms with golden light shining through. Quite magnificent and utterly magical to see. It was the perfect backdrop for this gingham mix ensemble.

The ruffle hem wrap skirt ties everything together with a chic little bow. I’m a big fan of matching and went my gingham cocktail crossbody bag that is currently on sale! In fact, almost everything here matches one another. The bow hair tie matches the bow in my skirt. The pearl earrings and necklace match the pearl embellished slides. Finally, the gingham skirt matches the gingham bag. I first tried on a white top with the skirt, but eventually decided a black one that really made the whole look pop. I actually pulled out a body suit I’ve had for ages, which kept everything very streamlined. I’d forgotten how much I love them. Bye bye excess fabric!

Lavender Floral

Lavender Floral Dress  || Lavender Bag || Lavender Bow Slides || Sunglasses || Hoop Earrings ||

Good morning and happy Friday, friends! Today is also affectionately know as “May The Fourth Be With You” for all of my Star Wars fans! We’ll be celebrating by going to a baseball game where they’ll have the Star Wars characters walking around. I can’t wait! This weekend is also Cinco De Mayo and my brother’s fiancé is graduating from college so it’s going to be a busy one.

My love for lavender continues! It’s easy to fall in love with this drss with its fluttering ruffles, springtime florals made up of warm reds and yellows, and a stylish crisscross back. The material is very light and airy making it great for the warm spring and summer days. I’m quite taken with this lavender bag too! While it’s not a circle bag, which has been my current go-to, the shape is so unique and interesting and of course the lavender color totally has my heart. I love that it’s pretty roomy too and an added bonus of gold hardware.

Cheers to the weekend!!

Romantic Bloom

Floral Maxi Dress c/o ||  Similar Blush Sandals || Similar Straw Clutch || Hoop Earrings ||

Hello and happy Thursday!  Do you ever find that everything comes together just right to make for the perfect outfit? That’s exactly how I felt about this look between the gorgeous twirl worthy dress to the beautiful blossoms and dreamy sunset. The weather was warm and the sweet scent of flowers were swirling in the breeze as people around me were laughing and enjoying the soon to be twilight. The look itself was fairly easy to create with my blush sandals and straw clutch matching the nude and blush background of the maxi dress from Chicwish. The oversize floral print brings spring to life and creates a lovely romantic scene. Though this is a maxi dress, the length will work for petite girls! I’m 5’2” and found the length to fit perfectly. Anyone under 5ft might need this to be hemmed. The dress fits true to size. I’m wearing an XS for reference.

I hope everyone is enjoying the warm weather! We had a HOT one yesterday and i’ll you, after the long and dreary winter, it felt AMAZING! Ava and I did not waste one second of it. We were completely wiped out by the end of the day and actually headed to bed early. We took walks, ran around, played kick the ball, throw the ball, baseball, and bowling. Then we went over uncle Mike’s house and he was squirting her with the hose. Haha, she absolutely loved it. Her laughter was the sound of pure childhood joy.

Make Waves

T3 Single Pass Wave c/o || Pink Pearl Top c/o || AG Skinny Jeans || DW Rose Gold Watch c/o ||

Welcome May and happy May Day!  May just so happens to be one of my favorite months and though I may be partial to it because it’s my birthday month, I can’t help but feel an over excitement that the month has arrived. Speaking of, today is also “It’s Gonna Be May” for all of the *NSYNC and Justin Timberlake fans! Did anyone happen to see their walk of fame ceremony yesterday? Ava and I watched the live stream of it. Sadly, they did not reunite for a song, but it was fantastic to see hem all together again! The crowd kept chanting “reunite, reunite, reunite” so I’m definitely not alone in this wishful thinking, haha.

The one brand I know I can count on for  flawless hairstyling is T3 Micro. I quickly became a fan the moment I tried my first curling wand from them and have not looked back. Their new SinglePass Wave is designed for all hair types and for women who want fast styling with beautiful and healthy results. We’re talking about some gorgeous summer sunshine type of shine for your hair! T3’s custom blend Tourmaline + ceramic barrels emit negative ions that seal the cuticle fast, to retain moisture and produce healthy, shiny results. The lightweight design includes five adjustable heat settings ranging from 260F-410F and a SmartTwist dial to easily turn the tool on/off and regulate the temperature. Along with the Tourmaline + ceramic barrels technology comes the new T3 digital SinglePass technology allowing for a consistent temperature, one pass styling, and flawless, frizz-free waves.

Good morning, friends! I can hardly believe this is the last day of April. Hopefully all of our April showers are going to bring an abundance ance of May flowers! Some of the trees are already starting to bloom around here too. For any *NSYNC fans out there, today they are getting their star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. I am beyond excited for this and hoping they have a little reunion during the ceremony. I would be happy with just one song even! I was really hoping for a reunion during the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake performing, but alas, that did not happen. This is the last time I can see them being together for a while so fingers crossed!! You can watch the ceremony on www.hollywoodwalkoffame.com at 2:30pm EST.

A few posts back I wore a lavender dress with mint accessories and mentioned how I had worn the same color combination recently, but reversed. This is the reversed outfit! I really love the color combo and couldn’t resist pairing them together again. This mint dress with tiered ruffle sleeves is so much fun! It’s elegant, but with a cool twist. The fit is relaxed and falls just above the knee.

Good morning and happy Friday! This was a look I wore to celebrate Earth Day last weekend with Ava. We went to a local farm to enjoy the nice weather, see some farm animals, and of course get some ice cream! The line was literally out the door and in the parking lot for some tasty ice cream. Everyone had the same idea as us, haha. We took a walk all around the grounds and found this dreamy little spot back by the stream where the sun was shining through as it was setting. It was so relaxing. Ava was showing me some of her super hero poses and I did some with her! Needless to say we had a blast!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Lavender Lace

Lavender Lace Dress c/o || Mint Circle Bag (Similar, Mine Is TJMaxx) || Similar Mint Heels || Jackie Kennedy Pearl Earrings || Jackie Kennedy Bracelet ||

Good morning and happy Friday-eve!  I’m a little late on this, but the biggest congrats to Kate and Will on the birth of their son this past Monday. Ava and I watched a live feed of them introduce their little one on the hospital steps and then shortly after drive away to their home. I’m anxiously awaiting to hear what his name will be. I’ve always been a huge fan of the royals, Kate in particular. My mom was a big fan of princess Diana too. I also started watching The Crown  on Netflix about a young Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip. I’m obsessed! There’s a reason it won the golden globe for best dramatic series. It has a Downton Abbey feel to it so if you like the royals or Dwnton, definitely give this show a try.

One of the big color trends for spring and summer is lavender. My mom would have been thrilled since her favorite color was purple. Every time I wear the color I think of her. I love the lavender paired with mint too. I even recently wore the same color combo, but reversed with a mint dress and lavender accessories. I can’t wait to feature that look soon!

This lace dress from Chicwish is STUNNING! It fits like a glove, has a scrolled eyelash hemline, and a floral lace design. I love the romantic feel, but even more is the gorgeous color. I swear, every time I wear a dress from Chicwish, the details blow me away and make me feel like a million bucks! This is one date night dress that will turn heads for sure. I’m wearing an XS for reference.

Midi Crochet Dress

Good morning, friends! I hope everyone has been enjoying the streak of nice weather we’ve been having. Yesterday was the high point with it feeling almost like summer outside. I even saw some cherry blossom trees starting to bloom! I cannot wait to see all of the flowering trees make their appearance. What a truly magical time.

One of the first pieces I seem to grab when spring arrives is a white dresss. I’ve worn several already this season and adore how fresh they feel. This crochet lace dress from Chicwish has an eyelet detail with a scrolled hemline and cuffs. There is also a cami underdress provided, which is always appreciated. The detailing of the dress is quite exquisite and what truly caught my eye. I wanted to make sure to capture the intricate details to show the true beauty the dress has. It’s all in the details, right?! This midi dress runs true to size.

Good morning and happy Monday!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and made sure to spend some time outdoors for earth day. Ava and I spent almost the whole weekend outdoors with multiple walks/hikes, spending some time with farm animals, getting ice cream, and planting some flowers. It felt good to breathe in the fresh air and feel the sunshine warming our skin. I dare say we turned a corner with the weather too. Our temperatures were in the high 50s and low 60s and the week ahead is pretty much all mid 50s so fingers crossed. Below I have a photo I took on one of walks with Ava finding some signs of spring poking through!

This look above is all about spring and summer fun in the sun. I have always thought blue and yellow look quite beautiful together and couldn’t resist pairing them for this outfit. While the colors put a smile on my face, I also love the print mixing between the striped top and the grid shorts. Both work well together without being over the top or in your face. Both pieces are true to size. To finish off the outfit, I stayed with the pastel palette, choosing a blush sneaker with rose gold metallic that gives them a little extra pop. These are sooo comfy too and only $39.95. Ive worn them multiple times already, usually when I need to run out the door quick, and couldn’t be happier with them. They look stylish, are affordable, and feel great to walk in. A new staple!
